got my bunny from here about a year ago, I’ve got to say, great people. Prices for animals like dogs, cats, ferrets, COMPLETELY UNAFFORDABLE…I understand they are trying to make money though. But my family Almost gave the employees a heart attack when I chose my bunny, she jumped out of my mother’s arms and almost landed on the floor before my mother caught the rabbit. I’ll never forget that.

I have worked at similar place and please believe that stores like this are built on scams. The dogs are 100% from puppy mills and the paperwork they give you is fake- and will not be accepted by AKC or other reputable licenses. Dogs are ALWAYS going to be sick with something. Intestinal worms, hacking up heart worms, pneumonia, upper respiratory infections, or worse of all: inbred genetic defects like weak leg ligaments and chronic confusion. You MIGHT get lucky and get a dog that is “okay” but more than likely you will adopt a sick animal and then spend thousands in vet bills and have a very low intelligence dog for the next few years.Workers will do things like: wipe snot off a nose before handing them to you, keep kennels clear of poop so you don’t see the worms or diarrhea, and keep the sickest dogs in the back until they ultimately die. Most of the time, the workers (teenagers) give the puppies the shots themselves and these puppies never see a real vet during their critical first few weeks.Puppies come off a truck of over 1000 animals- how is an 18 wheeler FULL of dogs if these dogs aren’t coming from puppy mill factories? It’s not possible to breed animals in living homes and have THAT many to pack in a truck.Do not buy a dog here. You will think it’s so sweet and calm but in reality it’s sick and exhausted.Do not be rude to the poor teenagers that work there- it’s not their fault- but just do yourself a favor and don’t even go inside.

Really nothing but overpriced puppy mill dogs. Went in and found a good selection of parakeets. Started to get one, but they didn't have any cages🤦 won't go back

Just want you guys to see little guy Chevy.Given it a four-star customer service was great I’ve waited almost a year before doing a review the reason for the four-star is due to pricing. Do not regret the money I spent on my baby! I will return for future purchases yes but I will be the negotiator

Extremely nice workers , it’s not my first time here I always go either by myself or with the kids and every time they treat us super nice and showing love for the little poppies that you fell that they are doing a great job . If you don’t know you can pet the poppies for free and the other animal .The store is pretty clean and I hope you keep having this good energy that you transmit.

They wanted 4000 for a Poodle. Was very quick to get you into financing. Not worth it, all of that cash could go to the health and well being of your new friend.

It was such a high quality place when Westlake and Matt White worked there. Those were the good ol’ days. Nowadays it stinks, it’s filthy, the staff are undertrained and hardly any stock. Prices of those poor pups are a whole different story. Do better- adopt don’t shop.

The workers here are absolutely disrespectful. They clearly hate their job. I asked a question and the guy rolled his eyes and was just completely annoyed with me so instead of getting what I needed I just left. I was also waiting on some help and both the workers were sitting there on their phones. Not clean inside.

We purchased a rabbit from this store about a year ago I was told over the phone I could bring him back as long as he was in a cage. A year later we bring the rabbit back to this store and was told by a cashier with yellow teeth he needed a wire cage to live in. The wire cages are about $100 each and to think that i had to spend $100 for cage for them to keep and return the bunny is just crazy. Do Not recommend.

The experience I received at Petland was great. They didn't force a pet on me and allowed me to make choices that was best for me not the company. I wound up getting a nice puppy; too soon to say the overall with puppy only 3 days now(7/3/23). So far all is well though. Btw; all documents were explained to me so I can't say I don't know...the only shortcoming is prices for pet is not cheap so know the $$$$$ is real.Thanks Jenna for your help!

We purchased a ferret and appreciated knowing the animal comes with a 1 year warranty. Our ferret is also vaccinated, neutered, and de gland so that made it much easier to buy. The staff was polite and knowledgeable.

We went in for the first time looking for fish and left with this guy. I strongly believe in adopting rescues, but this pup stole my husband's heart. Solomon is a Dogue de Bordeaux and was 4 months old when we got him. He is an absolute dream and fits in great with our 5 other dogs.

There's a reason their prices are set the way they are. Awful business model which subjects their "product" to cruel conditions. I've purchased 2 dogs from here within the last 7 years. The first time: dog had pneumonia. The worst part is they try to cover this as kennel cough which causes buyers to not treat their new puppy, treating it as a common cold expecting it to go away on its own. They even give you a little handout explaining that. The reality has been a bacterial infection for both separate purchases (years apart) my second and most recent dog had the same issue. Both dogs required staying at the vet for days of treatment. Petland covers these bills fortunately, but it is an awful business model. High price tag to counter their cost of vet bills they incur. The dogs are shipped in poor conditions which spread disease. The expensive price no doubt exists to balance their "product loss". Yes I supported the system buying a dog here but now I realized I shouldn't have.

The customer service was amazing and the dogs were cute. The dogs were very well taken care of and very well groomed. The staff is very helpful and informative. Each time I was ready spend time with another dog, the staff eagerly bought another one to me. I received so much information on each dog that I was interested in. There was a wide variety of animals. The layout is very organized. This place is the absolute best. If you ever go, as for Briana! She is absolutely knowledgeable and very helpful.

Had a great experience here.. Steph was a wonderful pet counselor and made our overall experience the best it could possibly be.. She had a wonderful personality and was very helpful! The only thing I would change about the entire experience would be the prices of puppies! While they are absolutely precious, $4,000 is a little steep and completely unaffordable.

I went to the Petland to look at a puppy I recently lost my sweet Rotty of 12 years and I finally wanted to possibly look at a puppy I was told that the puppy I was interested in was out today and the salesperson would not get the puppy the general manager who at the time was outside finally came in and as I explained the situation there was no type of apology for the rudeness of his employee so petland doesn’t have to worry about me ever and as I have found out they sell them animals extremely to high but nasty attitudes doesn’t help as well.

Nice welcoming staff, but terrible at bartering prices. The amount they ask for are a bit beyond unreasonable. So, say the dog is $7900. Your counter offer is $4000. Which honestly that's still a lot, but I understand they are trying to make their profit back. So they turn down $4000. (In cash I might add)So think of this. You can literally fly to any state in the country and pay 7 times less than that. That's including the plane ticket, round trip, a room for a night, pet carry on and all that would actually be well under $4000.Not to mention if you have $8000 to spend on a dog, why wouldn't they think "Hey, the customers can easily take that large amount and travel elsewhere to get better deals for dogs"And if you're wondering, yes, that's exactly what I plan on doing. Going out of town for a day or 2 for much better deals, with the same full breed dogs and creditials.

My experience at overland was fantastic. Jackson Gunnells quickly helped help and gave great service. He helped my find the puppy I was looking!!! He also even helped get the best deal for him. When I’m ready to look for another puppy I will be definitely going back there and hopefully get his service again!!!
