I love firehouse subs. They take their time and make your sandwich just the way you want. Maybe they can hire more workers so they wo t take soooooo long to give you your food. They had 5 orders not do e ahead of my order. I watched them.make these orders. How did they get so backed up? We were all waiting at the tables for our order. Hmmmmm...... I guess this is not fast food. Thank God. 😊

I ordered the Hook and Ladder and was very disappointed. I definitely will not be returning to this location (Macon Road). The sub I ordered was to be on white bread (not toasted), cold meat, include all items that come on the sub, and add ONS of jalapenos, banana peppers, oil and vinegar, bell peppers, and black olives. As you can see the sandwich is dry as the Sahara Desert and there was very little turkey...the turkey that was there was chopped up and broken. And lastly, they were frugal as heck on the veggies. Pictures are worth a thousand words and don't lie. Take a look!

Took my sister and brother in law to eat. They were passing thru on their way to Florida. The sandwiches were had were great and it was rush hour and I was going to have a coke and the only thing available was ANY diet/sugar free drink but no regular drink. I told the cashier and in 5 minutes she was at the drink machine and spent 3 minutes on it and she couldn't reset it so I had to settle for tea. My brother in law went to the table with straws and such for a plastic fork and there wasn't any of those either. I was really embarrassed to have taken them there.Nathan Largent

Food and service is usually good but either get rid of the shelf that says "Firehouse To Go," put a bigger sign on the shelf so it actually gets somebody's attention, or ask if they're picking up or placing an order so people aren't waiting around for nothing while their food has been sitting there for 15 minutes behind the counter.

This is the third time I've been in the past week and a half and so far every time there has been just a blatant disregard for what you tell them. Not once has the sandwich been correct and everytime they ask me if I want a pickle and I say no, but I still get a pickle everytime. The sandwich always has the wrong ingredients and is full of things I don't like. I just end up wasting money here and not eating the sandwiches. How hard is it to make a turkey and cheese? That's it. Listen to the customers! You have one job.

I just started going to firehouse subs this year. I LOVE IT. Especially this specific location. They employees are wonderful, the shop is clean, food is great, and it quick. Get the Smokehouse brisket and cheddar. DELICIOUS. I would eat it every day if I thought my wife wouldn't leave me for becoming morbidly obese.

I really like this Firehouse on Macon Rd. The sandwiches are awesome! The staff is so professional, down to earth, and extremely nice. I would recommend getting a sandwich here all the time when you are craving one! P.S.This is Peaches 😉

So, I just ordered a sub and it was completely wrong. When I called, the girl working was very rude. I should have asked for the nasty heifer’s name. The only thing that was my fault about the sandwich was I didn’t request for no mayo. I honestly didn’t know. You think a good business would understand, but I was told I should have read a little better, I am currently at work and my attention may have been elsewhere. Oh, and there was no salami on the sandwich. I know what salami looks like. The same rude girl told me she was standing there when the sandwich was made and saw the salami. There was no mustard as requested and if what the girl said was true about not being able to see it, then something is wrong. Now I’m out 20 dollars.

Friend of mine at Benning suggested we eat here a few times, and I was very impressed. Easily some of the best subs I've ever had anywhere. They are a little pricey, but you do get what you pay for. Would definitely stop in again next time I'm stationed in the area.

Not a good experience at all. We called ahead, and when my husband went in to pickup, he told them he was there and the name on the order. They told him okay, he would be next. Literally waited for a half hour, multiple people who came in after him ordered and got their orders, and when he finally asked where the heck his order was, they said "oh." And pulled out our order from behind the bread warmer. We were offered no sort of sincere apology or discount or anything. Just an "oh. Oops." Customer service was not up to par here and we will not be ordering from this one again. We should have ordered from the whittlesey location like we always do.

Ordered my food and they never asked if I wanted it cold or hot or if I wanted any cheese...when I complained about it they said "all our sandwiches come hot" and insisted on those words even after I showed them their own website stating hot or cold to order...instead of accepting their mistake and fix it my way, they made me pay for another sandwich. Manager was rude and needs to be retrained as well as the rest of the staff. When I told her I would call the corporate office she gleefully told me they were a franchise and they are privately owned. As many times as I have bought my subs from them this is the first time I was treated so rudely. Smh, it will be the last time💔

I was such a fan of firehouse subs until today !!! I HAVE BEEN GOING FAITHFUL TO THE MACON RD LOCATION FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW.. the employees know my name and my order as soon as i walk in.. rencently i just had car troubles and that have resulted in doordashing food.. ive never had a problem making my door dash order.. because of limited options on doordash i would call and the store after i place the order and tell them how i wanted it (extra toasted, etc etc).. they would always answer and never had a problem doing it for me.. today i called after i made my order and was put on hold before i could even speak back.. she kept me on hold so long about 8 mins… when she did get back on the phone she told me she couldnt change my because it has already been made.. i called soon as i placed the order and she placed me on hold because they was suppper busy.. in that case my food wouldnt have been made yet.. proceeded to tell me she couldnt fix my order and hung up on me.. i have never had this problem with them everrrr and i love they food but i spend toooooo much money with firehouse to be treated like that period!! customer service matters!! it was the cashier fault she put me on hold before listening to what i wanted and my order should have been fixed! NEVER GOING BACK !!

The food is good, as always, but we had two roaches climb the wall next to us while we were eating. Brought it to a workers attention and was just told sorry. Lack of action on their part (didn't bring it to any other workers attention) made us think we weren't the first to bring it up.

There is a reason that this is the best sandwich shop in America. They do it right. I visited today for a snack and the ladies were so friendly, they greeted me when I came in and are doing an EXCEPTIONAL JOB!!!!!!! Loved my New yk steamer!!!!

I sent my grandson here 45 mins before close to get a Hook and Ladder and was told there was no more meat absolutely ridiculous. But when we called there was no problem only thing was I had ca sh and no credit card to pay over the internet. I understand you have a hour until close but cmon your basic essentials for a sandwich are not there in a building full of meat.?????? This is the second time issues like this have happened. I think it was laziness that nobody wanted to make my sandwich.
