My 92 year old father is constantly getting manufacturer bottles containing his scripts. I'm sure this is a cost cutting move however my father takes all his medicine out of the manufacturer bottles and put them in an old CVS bottle. He will not use the manufactures bottles and as many times as I ask the pharmacy to always put Dad's scripts in CVS bottles them continue to give him manufacturer bottles. I'm concerned that him mixing medicine in old bottles (not necessarily the same drug) put him at grave risk. How do I get the pharmacy to use CVS bottles which I'm pretty sure his insurance company is paying for bottles.
