In a neighborhood area quiet but friendly small town atmosphere…Food & drinks: Everything is close by in terms of restaurants and diners and fun shops on the town square.Noteworthy details: Expensive flooring; great shower; perfect and ample lighting: easy plugs for electronics; grocery store across street; eateries within a block; refrigerator and microwave and good heat/cool controls. Very clean establishment.

I’m a traveling nurse. Since my arrival being on traveling nurse contract I’ve had bad experiences with the little option of hotels given in this area. I have been to 2 different hotels due to the conditions. Since I found This motel I’ve been nothing but satisfied. The owners are very kind and respectful every time I come . They accommodate the travelers.. the rooms. Are very very clean. Rooms smells fresh. Price are very reasonable and unbeatable They really take care of their customers. I must admit I was surprised of the magnificent condition this hotels is, due to the area. I will remain here during the whole 13 weeks. This is by far the only and clean motels in Colquitt including 20 miles .

I stayed at the Star motel while on business for three weeks. The rooms are clean and well kept. Maid emptied trash and refreshed towels daily. Reasonably priced for the area. I would highly recommend this establishment!

Has a cottage vibe! You forget your in a hotel at all feels more like home.Quiet outside not much traffic in and out.We love the place! Absolutely adorable! Cozy at home feeling!I stay out on the road with my work and we will be staying here from now on if we are in the area! Highly recommended...Air works Amazing 👍, TV works good, wifi is FAST!👌If I could give 10 stars I would. Only thing I would recommend in the whole place is a WATCH YOUR STEP sign letting you know the floor drops down when you enter the room. Other than that, I love the little silicone remote covers reminds me of being at home because we have them in our house in Florida.Took me less than 3 minutes to check in and we were in air conditioning cooling off. Lady at the office was really nice. Only thing missing is a pool. Would love to see one in the future it would be awesome.

It is an okay hotel stay if you are visiting family in that town. Beds are not too firm and kind of sink in when you lay in it or sit on it. Showers are nice. have to turn on the air conditioner as soon as you get your room. I believe we even had a rat in my room one night so says my wife as she left her potato chip bag on the table. Staff was good and helpful though.

This is a very cute place in Colquitt, GA. Clean, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, very friendly owners and the motel is pet friendly. Best of all is the price. We stayed 4 nights with 2 rooms and it was very reasonable. We will come back again.

My husband and I checked in to Star Motel on July 11, 2023. We had a king bed which was very comfortable, a little small but was okay for our short visit. Refrigerator/microwave which is a plus. The room was very nice. Air conditioner worked well ( very cold) and hot water in the bathroom. I recommend this motel. My mom is in rehab in Colquitt Ga so this will be my go to spotRooms: Everything you need In a room, refrigerator/ microwave, hot water and cold airSafety: Lots of cameras, area is quiet

I stayed at the Star Motel in Colquitt while I was attending the Building Creative Communities Conference held at the end of January 2013. Although the motel is an older building, I am very happy to report that is very clean and well-maintained. More importantly, I felt safe and cared for during my stay there. The owners were more than courteous and responded quickly to any request I had. Even though I had planned to walk the few blocks to the conference, on one very cold morning the owners volunteered to drive me to Cotton Hall, an offer I cheerfully accepted. The rates are very reasonable, and I would not hesitate to stay with them again. Thanks for your hospitality, Star Motel!

I've been staying here a week due to my husband working in this town. My stay here has been very pleasant. My husbands work has us traveling all over the US and I have to say this is the best motel I've ever stayed in. Super clean! That's my favorite! Along with the really nice and courteous staff. Newly remodeled, inside and out. Very nicely done. Great water pressure,internet and towels. I travel for a living and this is hands down the nicest older hotel ive stayed at. Reasonable rates and Sal and Misha are very nice, happy and helpful. Ice machine amd soda machine work too!

Great place to stay! Stayed two different times in two different rooms. Very clean rooms, at a great price! Friendly owners provided whatever was needed at all hours of the day. Definitely will be staying there again on future trips.

I’ve been staying here for the last 6 months and at this very moment I don’t know if it’s a hotel or a mechanic shop it’s 12:40 am and someone is literally outside fixing their car with all this loud noise bright flashing lights by my window. 6 months that’s over $3600 and they literally do not care about longevity customers what so ever. I be so glad when God blesses me to the point I don’t have to keep wasting my hard earn money here.

Rooms don't have proper bedding, no disposal can in bathrooms, bugs, digusting smell of.curry and the owners are extremely rude to previous, paying and future customers. It's rare to find clean bed linens!

A lot of people in the area think this motel is bad and would not recommend it. I stayed there and I would recommend it. It was a nice room, very clean. I did not feel unsafe during my stay. The staff was courteous and it was really cheap. I think this may actually be the cheapest motel in Colquitt without having to travel further. Do not listen to the negative things. Go and check it out for yourself.

Found this motel after the only other one I could find was full. Was extremely happy and surprised at how clean and great this place was for the price. The one around the corner can't offer any better and you can keep $100 per night in your bank account by using star!! Would definitely recommend this motel!
