Dexter, my fur baby, and I were vacationing in the area. Due to his health conditions, I'm extremely grateful to Nacoochee Poochie's owner for working him into her busy schedule. She was able to finish his grooming by 1:30 pm on Friday, June 16, 2023, so we could travel to Marietta GA that afternoon for a meeting I had previously scheduled.FIVE STAR RATING!!!! Highly recommended.Thank you again.

I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone to schedule boarding so we drove in. Very nice and clean facility and the poodle there is gorgeous but they weren't "taking anymore dogs for the weekend... "Had to take my baby tubing and hiking, turned out well.

I highly recommend this place!! We had a great experience with Nacoochee Poochie grooming. My little guy always seemed stressed when leaving the groomer he went to for years. Unfortunately I thought it was normal.At Nacoochee Poochie you set a time for your pet to go in and a couple hours later they are ready to go home!!! They start grooming them right away rather than showing up at 9AM and making them sit in a cage all day. He has come home in a much better mood. Happy puppy makes a happy fur momma!

I was very satisfied with my experience. I took my dogs for a bath and nail trim and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I tried calling other groomers first and never got an answer. When I called here, they answered right away and set my appointment up immediately. The price is very reasonable and they do a great job. I will be taking my dogs back in the future!

What can I say but we have found our new groomer! Have used the same groomer in Gainesville / Murrayville for years and she had to recently close for health reasons. We don't trust just anyone with our babies but following some reviews and convenient location to us we tried Nacoochie Poochie today! Great owner and fantastic service! We could not be happier. No stressed out pup when she was picked up so you know she was well taken care of. We will definitely be a regular from now on!

Quick in and out getting my older dog's nails trimmed. The staff is professional and the facility is clean and much more visually appealing than their old place. We started coming two years ago because the other place in town didn't have consistent hours of operation and was never open when we needed them. Nacoochee has offered consistent service and value.

Best groomer around! Had previously used another groomer in town until she was rude one time too many! Laurren is awesome! I brought my Shiloh here to be pampered before making her journey across Rainbow Bridge. When we checked out, were told no charge! That simple act spoke volumes, made my grown (tough as nails) son cry and earned a customer for as long as they'll have us!

I have a pomeranian. I asked the owner not to shave him. She did anyway instead of combing him out. His hair, 5 months later still has not grown back. When I confronted her she said I was too lazy to comb him myself. My dog is ruined forever. I wish there was a place on here to post a picture. Everyone asks me what happened to him. I have a bad shoulder and I'm not able to brush Elijah out. The owner was rude, condescending and very unprofessional.

When I first called the owners encouraged us to come by "any time" for a tour. It is a lovely and fun facility! The large boarding rooms are wonderful for families with more than one dog and their groomer is kind and does a great job. We are very happy to have found them!

I bring my dogs to Nacoochee Poochie for boarding and grooming. They are always so excited to walk through the doors and get pampered and spoiled! I'm definitely a lifer and will NEVER go anywhere else! My two standard poodles love Laurren and I wouldn't trust anyone else to groom them with such expertise and take such amazing care of them!

I would not recommend this place for boarding. When I dropped my dogs off I noticed it smelt. Then when walking their things to the room they would be staying in I immediately noticed the smell and the OBVIOUS old pee on the floor of the room they would be sleeping in. They had not even bothered to clean the floors after the previous animal had been in there. I immediately regretted that my brand new dog bed would have to be put down on this filthy floor. The whole reason I went with this facility was the rooms, verses traditional cages and such. Very disappointed at the level of filth in the rooms. Now I bought a brand new dog bed for this specifically, and washed both dogs prior to drop off. Upon pick up the bed and toys I had brought smelled so bad, that they had to be left outside for a day before I could even bring them inside to wash them. My dogs also smelt terrible and had to be washed immediately. When dropping the dogs off I was told that no one would be there during the weekend, “As it is the holidays.” Someone would be dropping by and letting them out to the bathroom. So at this point I am already late to leave for vacation and have no back up option for taking care of the dogs. So I had to leave them… Well I was mandated to book a minimum of at least 3 nights and pay over $100 up front as well, “As it is our peak time.” Which to me if your peak time is now, then you should staff accordingly… If you know the holidays are your peak time, then you need to have staff available as that is what you are being paid for… as I am paying for my dogs to actually be attended to, not just occasionally checked on. If that were the case I would have just left them at home and asked someone to stop by and let them out instead of paying $54 a night. I was highly unimpressed with this business and my experience with them. I was told someone would be there between 9am and 4pm on Monday and I had family driving to pick the dogs up. Well at 3:30pm, after my sister is at the facility to pick up my dogs, no one is there and the text I receive back is that they will not be back till 6pm… No oen is able to drive all the way back out at 6pm, so I have to pay for yet another night… So then the next day when my mother tries to come pick them up, they are on their way out the door again and it is also within the hours they are supposedly staffed. Needless to say I would not recommend if you want your dogs to be in a clean facility with staff. They seemed to be much more interested in their grooming portion of the business than the boarding portion. The staff was nice to me when I spoke to them, but seemed to be very in and out and unavailable… Very frustrating experience to be on vacation and stressed about your animals and trying to call multiple times to simply have your dogs be able to be picked up. Waste of money. They also insisted that my mother pay the balance on my bill before she would be allowed to leave with my dogs… None of this was even mentioned when dropping my dogs off, or I would have paid the rest then or called in and paid the day I knew she was picking them up. Very unprofessional and unclean.

My new go-to groomer! I brought my anxious rottilab in and the staff there worked miracles with her. I've never seen my dog so calm when getting her nails trimmed! Laurren, the owner, even listened to my complaining about my dogs constant shedding and not only gave me a wonderful deal on a deshedding bath/condition/brush, but also shared tips that I can do at home to keep the shedding at a minimum. These people truly care about your pets, their safety, and a spa like experience for both pet and owner :) thanks nacoochee poochie!
