Super knowledgeable, willing to special order things, great about explaining housing and care requirements and always available to answer questions after the purchase. These guys are my go to pet store - have been for years and will be going forward!

My family and I have been going to this shop for 3 years now. We now have a bearded dragon, guinea pig, hamster, and a scorpion. We are always given excellent service and they are always helpful if we have any questions on our pets and their care. Plus it's nice to support this local business in a small town.

Workers not very courteous. Selection is very limited with most tanks empty. Doesn't smell clean at all. I do not recommend. Been here 3 times hoping for it to get better but it has not , if anything it has gotten worse.

I hate to say it, but I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My boyfriend and I have been in here maybe 3-4 different times and every time I feel like it gets worse. The guy that is mainly working there is very non-interactive. He sits at the back desk where the register is and doesn’t even acknowledge customers. If we need help, we have to walk up to him for him to even acknowledge we’re there. Also, the poor reptiles…the water is always very dirty, brown-colored with dead bugs in it. Also, husbandry is not good at all. All of the animals look sick. We bought a heat bulb one time from there and it died within a couple days, I’m assuming it was used and he was selling it as new. I really hope this dude gets up once in a while to take care of these animals and help customers, instead of just sitting on his phone in the back. Overall, worst pet store I’ve been in.

10/10 BEST STORE AROUND Owner is very nice and Courteous and willing to share knowledge about exotic pets. Store very clean and organized. Has a big variety of food for your pets. Has a good amount of animals for sale. Prices are cheap.

This place has absolutely fallen from it's previous standards. I visited here because I heard it was a fantastic reptile and exotics stores. However I was very very wrong. The animals are not being kept well at all and sick and dying animals are easily on display. Even a dead baby bearded dragon. Absolutely no care in the world for these creatures.

Very well organized store with an excellent variety of items for exotics and dogs/cats! The owners are very well-versed in animal care and they are more than reasonable! Animals look very well taken care of as well! Definitely worth checking out if you have pets!

Stopped by on a Saturday wanting a few fish and I prefer to support local when possible. Owner was not helpful, from his chair which I gather he couldn't be bothered to rise out of, he informed with the few fish he had were in tanks in back. A few guppies and mollies was pretty much it. I gather it is an order only stock store. The store seemed clean just be aware the owner is rather surly if you are looking for fish to buy. Just FYI for others to not waste a trip looking for fish same day. Wish I had known

Was in there a few days ago and I couldn’t say anything bad about this store. It’s hard to find good mom and pop pet shops nowadays and this is one you can trust. I have been going here for many years for my animals products with no issues from the owners or getting what I need.A+ storeNeed anything just ask them they have never done me wrong.

Today I went to GHC I was thrilled to see the PAC-Man frog that I been wanting they had .I've bought from GHC before and have gotten amazing Pets .But sadly today my day wasn't lucky the frog /PAC -Man was sick and passed away not to long after we arrive home.

If I could give this no stars I would. I've been putting off giving a review but I can't stop thinking about this place. They definitely don't take care of their animals. Hardly anything had water, what did have water was so nasty. Everyone else's water was bone dry, there was a bunny in a plastic bin. Hardly anything had any hides. I'm assuming the boa is their personal and just stays in a enclosure too small. One snake had the worse mite infestation I've ever seen in person. Leopard geckos enclosures definite havent been cleaned in probably over a month to say the least. Iguanas mouth was so pale. Definitely a red flag with all the "no picture signs". I left this place crying with how bad everything here looked. Guy also mentioned he hasn't taken anything out for anyone to see since 2020.

I've been holding off leaving a review in hopes that the husbandry would get better, but sadly it seems the opposite.They cohab ball pythons. The ball pythons who aren't being cohabbed are absolutely going to get a respiratory lung infection. They're enclosures were so damp they had dew drops collecting on their head. One of their personal snakes has a mouth infection. (the snake with it's mouth open) Their large personal snakes live their lives in EXTREMELY inappropriate enclosures. Nowhere for them to hide, no kind of anything in their tank and they haven't been able to stretch out their body in their enclosures for a while. There was a dead fish in one of the tanks that had obviously been dead for a while. The beta fish are sold in cups that are about half the size of the normal cups. (I understand they have to be put into cups to be sold, but these are TINY and there's just no reason for it. If you don't have the space in your store, don't keep them. Including your snakes.They are living things and deserve SO much better care. At least the bare minimum care.These are living animals. Do better.No photography is always a red flag....I don't want to hear excuses, I want to see proof that you're taking better care of these animals. This guy clearly just views these as money rather than living things. If the owner put more effort into finding better breeders and taking proper care of his animals, rather than trying to bully people out of their reviews by being snarky, maybe this place wouldn't be so terrible.

Not a fan didn't feel welcomed at all no interactions at all besides for prices or when things are going to get there and some of the animals cages felt too bare bones for them to live comfortably

I come in to get crickets and pre-mixed food for my two cresteds (that I also bought from him) pretty regularly. The prices are fair and the owner is very knowledgeable and always willing to answer whatever questions I have. Highly recommended!

Bought some goldfish and koi from here recently.I went in expecting it to be like a usual exotic pet store, which in my experience have been kind of gross and smelly.However, here it was quite pleasant. You can tell the owners take good care and keep the animals clean and taken care of.The workers who helped us were very nice and laid back.The selection of different animals were pretty cool, even though we were only there to look at goldfish.The prices seemed reasonable.

Neat little place and kind of an out of the way town. You're not going to find your typical critters here like cats and dogs. Serpents spiders tarantulas etc. The owner was very knowledgeable and nice. The premises were quite clean. Go in and take a look it's worth it just to see the all the creepy crawlies.

I have been a regular customer( as 2-4 times a week) since moving to Cleveland Georgia since 2016. Every time have I been to this meticulous pet store every cage has been clean for the various reptiles, fish, rabbits, mice, hamsters with fresh water and food. The owners, Erick and Brandon are knowledgeable, caring and extremely helpful they truly are the best and so is their customer service and store! If they don’t have a particular item you are looking for they will find it and order it for you! I can’t begin to express how great this store is!

I stop in every so often to buy supplies for my leopard geckos. Their animal enclosures are always clean and the animals healthy. I enjoy going in to see the usual species that they get that most shops don't carry. Eric and Kayla are proud of their shop and they have every right to be! It is a great place. They carry not just the generic stuff for pets but they try to get in things to take your pets health to another level. I will keep shopping there as long as they're open! I only wish I could shop more.

I won’t go anywhere else. The guy running the shop took my phone call and answered a lot of questions for me before I even came to the shop. He was very patient with me as I am sure a lot of questions I have seemed dumb because I am a beginner. I have now purchased a bearded dragon and a milk snake from him. Both are healthy and happy! Not like big box stores. I can’t thank you guys enough for all your help!

Good selection of animals and products, and if they don't have it, they usually can order it. Easy to work with, great prices, too, especially on the fish. Check out Franklin the tortoise out back if you go during the summer!

Every time I come To GHC Exotic Pets, I always love my experience. When my son is with me, they spoil him to the fullest extent. If I would let him, he would bring home every reptile he could. They have talked to him and given him a full education on how to care for them, as well as what their needs are. We have a leopard gecko and they have taught me so much about her. She was given to us and we were lost until we went to GHC. I am very impressed with their knowledge and their love for reptiles and animals. We have 2 dogs and we were unhappy with their food and the guys helped us get them both switched to the same food and they have done great with the change. You can’t go wrong going to GHC. Great staff, great facility, great knowledge and a great amount of love for their animals and everyone else’s.

This is the type of place that really care about pets. The staff was very professional , helpful, and is the type of place that makes you feel like they care about their pets more than a place that wants to make a sale. The place is well organized, that separates the different species in which you can figure out where everything is. Talking about excotic pets, they also have a gigantic tortoise in the back.I really like this place and I will definently visit this place again.
