Beautiful store that is well laid out and has lots of clothing, books and hiking gear. Not cheap but has unique items. My husband really loved the Alien 👽 Sasquatch “we believe” shirt.

Great store in a cute downtown area. Staff/owner was friendly. They had the best selection of goods, I wanted to buy everything. Unique shop layout with brands like Cotopaxi, Chubbies and contemporary designed t-shirts not found in most outdoors tourist shops.

If you’re driving through north Georgia you must stop here! The staff is amazing and the store is just incredible. I was greeted as I entered through the coolest door, and the staff made me feel warm and relaxed. The products are very unique, I had a difficult time not giving them all of my money. Plus they have BOOKS!!! I was in heaven. Thank you for making my experience in the mountains perfect!

Great store for interesting gift items, although as a hiker the clothing selection could be stronger. If you are bougie camping and not worried about gear weight, you will love it! They often have some sale/clearance gear that's lightweight, odor or bug resistant and dries quickly, for which I'm always on the lookout.

Wandered in here to look for souvenirs and gifts for our neighbor who was taking care of our pets while we were on our trip to North Georgia. They have curated an amazing selection of gear and unique souvenirs and gifts. We chatted with the co-owners for awhile, and they are just the nicest people. If you're in Clayton or visiting Tallulah Gorge, don't miss this cute shop 💚 They also have an expansive book store downstairs that I had to turn a blind eye towards, since my book collection is overflowing and I knew my self restraint would give out, but I regret not going down and checking it out- next time!

Cant speak highly enough of Wander North Georgia! The customer service is amazing - the retail is amazing - the space is amazing. I also reached out via email with a special request on an item i purchased and they fulfilled it no questions asked and no extra charges. I cant wait to make a trip back as soon as I can!

Both locations are lovely and inviting! Whether you're there to browse and discover local artists, or going for a specific North Georgia or outdoor adventure piece, you'll find it! And if not, they'll help you find it. The staff is hands off - which I prefer since I like to ....wander... around the store - but always kind and helpful when approached. Don't miss this gem of North Georgia hospitality!

I spend a LOT of time outdoors. Hiking, camping and mostly waterfall chasing. Well over 600 waterfalls in Georgia alone. Yet for all that travel, my timing was always so bad when it came to stopping @wandernorthga. I just couldn't seem to get there for a visit. Until this past Sunday and I couldn't have been happier.I love this place, the curb appeal, the smell when you walk in, the simple, warm, mountain country feel inside. Most importantly the staff. Richard came right up to me, asking about my day and if I got any good shots (noticing my camera in hand). The energy and vibe was on point and matched expectations. Ayala greeted me as I checked out (got me a really nice hat) and had a great smile and presence about herself. Then as I left Richard even stepped out of the store to inform me of other places to take photos of around town. Even was suggestive about the local restaurants (I would have stopped if I wasn't smoking ribs that night). But the fact that he was looking out for the other small businesses in town was awesome. You can tell why the people are on the staff as well as why Wander is so big in the community!Thank you 🙏🙏

I was finally able to return after several years, and I love the space they're in now. I've never seen another store like it, and I love the Botanical themes throughout! You really can wander around in there for hours.

Earlier in the day we visited their other location near Tullalah Gorge. This shop is much larger with a bigger variety of products that don’t just tailor to specific hiking needs.Their souvenirs were affordable and they had something for everyone regardless of physical activity levels.

Wonderful store! Small town feel with books, shirts, hiking maps, great mugs, cover, local honey, and so much more! They even have a great hangout spot with cornhole in the back. Right on main street with free street parking.

Stopped into the @wandernorthga store for the first time this past weekend! Me and two other guys stopped in on our way to camp and hike up to Pinnacle Knob. I have to say this store is awesome, but the people who run it is what makes this company awesome! They were so helpful and friendly. They even gave us several trail ideas when we asked them where to camp and hike around Clayton.I ended up buying two of the softest shirts I’ve ever felt in my life and some new stickers for my car! Keep up the excellent work you guys and keep being awesome

Pretty cool spot. Found them on I seagram and decided to go check out their shop. They have some pretty cool designed tshirts to pay tribute to the amazingly beautiful North Georgia mountains. I was also surprised to learn that they have a small little ice cream shop inside, a long with a pretty cool little kids play area in the back. Where I am disappointed, the staff wasn't all that friendly. Seemed like if I wasn't a part of their inner circle offriends, then I am not cool enough to talk to. I tried to drum up conversation but it went no where. Not very warm and welcoming and didn't seem like they were grateful for my business. Which is sad because I do like the products and would probably come back to purchase more. But probably not, again, for the lack of friendly customer service.

The store was extremely pleasant, organized, and definitely for those who love to travel. I ended up buying a shirt, cup, and a few car stickers. If you love exploration and supporting small businesses then definitely visit them, and even follow their Instagram like i do!

So I met the owner Josh randomly just to dude standing around talking. What an amazing story of simplifying life and being blessed because of it. Richard was awesome and made me feel so welcome, so at home and comfortable. The diversity of stuff they have is mind-blowing, from kids stuff to actual adventurers stuff, to people who just enjoy sitting on their porch watching birds. Highly recommend exploring!

My two teens and myself were heading up to the NC mountains from Florida over the summer and decided to stop in Clayton to check out this store. I follow their Instagram page and I wanted to see the store in person. From the moment I entered the store, I was in love. The store is very unique and quirky, but at the same time has a comfortable familiarity. I met and chatted about Florida with one of the owners while I was there and he was super cool. There are a lot of different items for purchase from stickers to hiking backpacks and everything in between. Plus, there is a sweets counter with ice cream and other delicious treats! You won't be disappointed if you visit this store. Plan to spend some time browsing and just enjoying the vibe.

We were headed through Clayton on our way to NC mountains, and I had to stop at Wander. I had bee following their progress on Instagram for a long time, and it was so exciting to show up in person to see the real deal! I have always loved outdoorsy stores and this one is my new favorite. Great selection of hats, gifts, and things you need to stock up on for wandering and exploring. We liked it so much that we stopped again a week later on our way back home. If you are anywhere near Clayton it is worth a trip to see what they are building and buy something you need.

I’ve made two trips to the store now after hiking close-by. Both times I’ve had exceptional service!! Not to mention I walk out of there with a bag full each time. I have have several water bottles, hats, and t shirts. I love this store and the employees that work there. It’s a big plus that they’ll let our pups come in so they don’t have to be left outside.
