My family always visits the Clayton store each time we are down that way. Very good selection of many different items. On one occasion I purchased 2 items and was assured by the clerk they would meet my needs. I discovered after getting home they would not work. When I returned the opened, undamaged items with my receipt, the manager said they would not refund my money. A little taken back because most retailers accept returns. Just wanted buyers to be aware of their policies.items they refused to return them.

Reeves Hardware on Main Street is the best place in Clayton for all of your clothing, shoes, and boot needs. They carry so many great brands like, Hey Dude’s, Wrangler, Kuhl, Patagonia, Under Armour, Carhartt, Georgia Boots, Lowa, Danner, Carolina Boots, Durango Boots, Keen, Merrell, and tons of Local shirts. They also have all of the grilling accessories that you could possibly need, to include Big Green Egg, Traeger, and Weber. Reeves Hardware on Main Street in Clayton has been a family owned and operated business since 1928.

These stores have lots of products. The managers are friendly but other clerks seem fedup with the tourists. Prices are very high, a product of the Atlanta clientele (used to paying top dollar for anything in the Clayton area while on vacation). This store used to have decent prices, but Bidenomics and spendy tourists have driven prices way up. Again, they do have a diverse and abundant amount of quality products, most (if not all) being overpriced. Just about anything you can get here you can get elsewhere for less, you'll just have to be willing to shop around.

One of my favorite shops in town. The have been here for 90 years and know what they are doing. They always have great ideas for fixing things and can do just about anything. Awesome clothing section too!

I have been coming to Clayton for years and I love shopping at Reeves. The clothing and shoe selection upstairs is amazing. They have great variety and clothing/shoes that are perfect for each season. Everything is very clean and organized. I highly recommend that anyone who lives in the area or passes through while traveling stop by and check it out.

Went in for some arrows for my recurve bow. I’m new, but not so new that I don’t know how to measure for arrow length w/o a bow present. Would have spent $$$ on other equipment but the desire to service customers isn’t there. Go somewhere else.

Great county local general store. It is a store of a time long past but it is an amazing beacon in the storm that is our country in tumultuous times. It's awesome to see a home town store that has been around nearly 100 years stay open and serve it's town well. They have everything you might need. Hardware, guns, ammo, fishing gear, clothes, furniture, and in and on. I love to shop here and give them my hard earned money. I hope they stay open another 100 years and will do my part to make sure they do. It may be a little more expensive but who can beat Amazon. The extra price for the experience, and non inept staff is worth every red cent I've given them. Keep it up Reeves!

Wow, this place is deceptively huge. Politely greeted when I entered and another employee asked if he could help direct me to what I was looking for. Another employee was very helpful explaining merchandise and options. Items were reasonably priced too. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area.

Worth stopping in while visiting Clayton. Huge variety of products. It's like an old fashion hardware store where employees actually help you find what your are looking for and are knowledgeable enough to be able to help. We especially liked the fly fishing shop.

I love this store. They have a great selection of name brand and hard to find items from clothing to guns, knives, archery, crafts, cooking, you name it. The staff are always helpful and happy. I stop in almost every time I am in the area.

What a beautiful hardware store!! I was SO impressed I went twice and will everytime I go through Clayton. The staff was super friendly and I really just enjoyed browsing and seeing everything. It's one of the nicest hardware stores I've been to and definitely the prettiest!!
