We arrived early on a Sunday morning straight from camp with hungry bellies. We could tell that this place is a labor of love. The server didn't come in to work that morning so a very kind lady who maybe was the owner/baker/chef took the best care of us that she could. She had some good suggestions for the kids. The cinnamon rolls were yummy and not too sweet. The food was pretty good, simple home cooked. We left fulfilled.

Best breakfast place in town!! The only complaint I see is that it takes awhile to get your food, but any understanding person would see that it is operated by one sweet old lady, and the food is definitely worth the wait. My family and I are picky about breakfast and find all other places in the area to be okay but very cheap tasting. You can taste the quality difference at the Mountain Grill. :))

What a great place. The food here is prepared to order so if you're in a hurry you should probably go to McDonalds down the street and eat their street trash because good, quality food takes time. This is a place to relax, put your phone down, look across the table, visit with your mate, and wait for your culinary delight to show up. My wife and I have had the sweet potato pancakes (yum!) the Campfire Scramble (They actually 'ask' you how you'd like your hash browns cooked-me: extra crispy), their cinnamon rolls (so good they have to be Heaven sent), the sour dough bread (eating some right now at home...incredible) and their fresh made quiche...to die for. All the baked goods are made onsite fresh daily and don't last long. Susie, the owner and head chef, is the sweetest thing on two legs and well skilled in good vittles. We have a second home here but I'm thinking about throwing a sleeping bag in the back of this restaurant.

Great place to enjoy a home cooked lunch or breakfast. The owner is very nice and makes sure her guests are well taken care of. The blueberry pancakes, biscuits with sausage gravy and oatmeal with sounds were delicious. Can't wait to go back.Don't go of you are looking for fast food service. Relax and enjoy the moment.

Small and quaint establishment with a good home cooking menu. Due to our current times, a customer was working to assist the owner in running the restaurant. The food was good and the service super friendly. It dictated a return visit if in the area again.

Small, cozy place. Great atmosphere, superior customer service. That said, I very highly recommend Mountain Grill. It is certainly NOT fast food- but it is prepared fresh when you order and it is amazing. Yes, the cinnamon rolls are wonderful, and Miss Suzie is the sweetest hard-working lady! All the staff are attentive and courteous (all 4 of them). You would be missing a true treat by not visiting Mountain Grill!

Cozy place with amazing food!I bought cinnamon buns, quiche and a loaf sour dough bread. The quiche and cinnamon bun were amazing! The bread was an add on because of a recommendation of a customer. Oh my he was right. My daughter’s words were what are we going to do when we run out of this bread. We live 40 miles away.

Everything is fresh made and they actually know how to prepare Hash browns correctly. The omelets are great rolled the old fashioned way on the grill. The cinnamon toast goes perfectly with breakfast. The bacon is crispy but tender. The cinnamon buns are to die for. Coffee is hot and strong. If you want a sugary sweet flavored coffee go down the street to dunkin's. Service is slow but well worth the wait.

We actually stopped to try the Rusty Bike but it was packed so we decided to try here and we're glad we did. The fresh cinnamon rolls were fantastic. French toast was really good also. Very friendly staff and great service. Definitely worth trying. Will stop again next time we come through I'm sure.

My husband and I found this place on Google. We almost were going to go to the restaurant next store but there was a wait. Instead, we ate at the Mountain Grilland we were pleasantly surprised. The quiche and cinnamon buns were amazing! The owner was very sweet! We will definitely eat here again when in town.

Absolutely delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly. The owner is welcoming, kind and a true blue cook who knows how to make homemade food with seasonal, local ingredients. It is a cook to order place so you are getting your food freshly prepared by a woman who knows her cooking! This is a must try breakfast or lunch spot. One we will be returning to often and with visiting friends and family!

Never ever have I had banana-bread, French toast… until now. If you like banana bread and French toast, try this delectable twist on a traditional favorite, the frozen sliced bananas on top were a flavorful addition. The place was empty when my wife and I arrived and packed when we finished. I should have tried the cinnamon rolls, they looked delightful. The cafe is small and cozy, we spoke to some of our neighboring tables. Everyone wanted to know what the brown ingredient was in the shakers on the tables. Most of us thought it was cinnamon (because we were there for breakfast) however, it was cayenne pepper… Glad I did not try that on my French toast. Enjoy!

Highly Recommend! Can Not Say Enough Good Things About This Place. The Fresh Baked Cinnamon Buns Alone Are Worth Giving This Tiny Mountain Restaurant A Try. The Owner/Cook/Server/Dishwasher Ms.Susie Is An Absolute Delight Who Makes Your Order With Love And The Freshest Ingredients. Yes, It Will Take Longer Than A Drive Thru, However, It Will Be Worth The Wait. She Could Use Some Help And Had A Help Wanted Sign In The Window When We Were There So When We Were Done Eating We Helped Her Wash Dishes For A Bit As More Customers Were Coming In.Looking Forward To Going Back Someday.
