We had to wait in line for 20 minutes just to order. Then we didn't get our drinks. Food was somewhat overpriced, but so are all the McDonald's these days along with all other fast food restaurants.I won't stop there again. Should have gone to Wendy's instead.Parking: Not a lot of options for trailers

Update, January 2024: I just had a good experience here. It's just one instance so far but sufficient to warrant an update and more visits to confirm. Counter service was quick and delivered with friendliness and a smile, a marked change from last year. Condiments were offered up quickly. Finding someone to help in placing the order and gathering condiments was very easy.The quality of the burgers, however, is not as good as I have come to expect from McDonald's. The beef seems precooked and just warming while awaiting an order to be placed or possibly microwaved instead of fried. This was for a double cheeseburger. Next time, I'll try the quarter pounder as it's advertised as using fresh beef, not frozen, and hopefully not precooked or microwaved.Still, the service improvements are greatly appreciated.Original review, April 2023: Colossally slow (drive-thru 20+ minutes). Couldn't get the orders right. I don't know how corporate permits this, as it's a horrible McDonald's experience.Looks like reviews of this place are roundly terrible, yet mgmt and McD's corporate do nothing. Open a second one in Clayton, a competent one, and this one will be out of business inside a year. That will be one for the record books.Update: Tried dining in. It was no better. The staff, which seemed numerous enough, was as bumbling as stooges but without the comedy. While the fries were surprisingly fresh and hot, the burger buns seemed stale and the burger lukewarm. Service was horribly slow, of course, so it's no wonder the food generally isn't fresh or hot.The soda fountains were self-serve, but the condiments were hoarded by the staff behind the counter for no known reason.One hard worker was cleaning the place well but the rest of the staff looked like it was their first day and they had no idea what they were doing. A customer spilled a drink and alerted the staff but they had no idea what to do about it, for example. The counter was mostly unmanned, and orders were all backed up despite having only a handful of customers. Fast food it ain't.The thing that struck me the most was the character of the staff and their service were totally out of place for Clayton. Not particularly friendly. Not competent.

Last night was one of three times that I have pulled into the drive-thru at this location and have been told to hold on just a moment and watched two cars pull into the other lane and get their order taken first. The first time I shrugged it off, the second time I mentioned my frustration, The third time I just decided that it is very unlikely I will return even though I live here. After I watched the second car start to get their order taken first, I said hello and got told. I'm sorry we're very busy right now, I then said well, that's funny because two people's order have been taken and I was here first. I know it might seem petty but after three times of it happening it's actually very frustrating. I understand needing a moment because you're busy but saying you're busy but taking other people's orders who pulled up after me is unacceptable.Edit: Here I am a month later to give another chance and yet again for the FOURTH time it happened again. On top of other things that do not sit right with me at this McDonald's, I will not ever be returning.

While I know places are struggling to hire dependable people, one lesson that needs to be taught - to read the order screen and get the order right. I have been to this location three times in the past week, to get something to drink, and the order is wrong every time. One day, an employee argued with me that I had placed the order incorrectly and then proceeded to have issues correcting the drink order - snapped at another employee to get the order done for her. Each time when I have ordered, it has been read back to me correctly - but it has been given out incorrectly. People are yelling that they need higher pay, but fail to give the quality of service that the pay they receive is deserved.

This place seems nice and friendly but the drive though seemed little dirty with all the food spilled over and it smells like food was dropped there several times. But the cashier and severe at the door both were pleasant and smiling.

All I ordered was Vanilla Iced Coffee with and extra squirt of vanilla in which you are charged extra for and it seemed as if there was no vanilla @ all in it and after already waiting several minutes just @ the speaker alone with only 1 car in front of me I wasn’t going back around to get it corrected. No greet, have a nice day, or simple thank you from the young lady working drive thru. Maybe she was having a bad day we all do from time to time!

Super slow service waited 20 minutes for food. Nasty rest rooms, they need a good cleaning. Something's bad wrong with this place. Don't stop here terrible and nasty.

Apparently their version of dine in is take out at the counter and running off without giving you the cups. We ordered on the kiosk and followed the instructions for dine in. Printer was out of paper but the 2 seconds I had to see the order number was barely enough time to commit to memory. Sat at the table for 30minutes and then noticed another table came back from the counter with food. Waited at the counter and got the food when the number was called. Had to yell to get the girls attention just to get the drink cups. This location seems fine for drive through but god forbid you try to dine in.

0 stars. Can't speak of the food. After standing inside at the register for many minutes and not being acknowledged, we left without ordering anything. Too, the restrooms, men and women, were quite dirty-filthy. Maybe today was a bad day. Sad to have experienced such lack of customer care. Chic was happy to see us and served extremely fast.

We stopped in for a quick lunch, and we went on the inside because we were traveling. The staff never acknowledged us. Other customers started to come in and were ignored. They weren't really crowded, so I'm not sure what was going on. We decided it wasn't worth the headache and drove right down to the Wendy's who provided great service and food.
