We have relied on Clayton Paint & Flooring Center for many years. For over 21 years my wife I owned, operated and maintained Beechwood Inn Bed and Breakfast in Clayton. Over that period of time we can't tell you how much paint, flooring, bath tiles, carpeting and installation we purchased. Lots! Over that period of time Benjamin Moore changed their paint formulas a number of times. Keith, Lora and their staff have always come to our rescue.I kept part used cans in the basement well labeled. They were used to cover scratches and dents, between major repainting. When I ran out or came across a dried can Clayton Paint and Flooring could always match what I needed. This was made more difficult because we used several different sheens as well. What a blessing, and they always helped me with friendliness.This year we sold Beechwood Inn and bought a lovely home near town that needed new paint, flooring and more. Keith, Lora and their staff treated us with the same interest and care as they always have when we were "commercial" clients. We feel privileged to be working with this store and its owners. We had two levels of flooring redone. They are a professional grade operation. The total job was completed in 8 days.Keith helped us out with LVP selections and had some ideas for future painting / wall improvements. He provided a detailed and reasonable quote with no wild card items.The work was done on time, looks great and the floors feel good on the feet. Dario and his installation team were a pleasure to work with. The detail workmanship quality shines through. We highly recommend this company.

At 69 yrs. old I've never been compelled to write a review. We needed some tile other than that offered by big box stores. Our project was special to us so we wanted something unique but we also needed help coordinating shapes, color, sizes, etc. This owner and her personnel were all 5 stars -- assistance plus great advice -- Don't think twice at visiting this location. You'll get answers to your questions and assistance perfecting your vision. 5 stars !

This is the second time we have used Clayton Paint and flooring and they have exceeded our expectations each time. We had a stair runner installed and just had flooring put on the main level of our Sky Valley home. Keith, the owner and his wife took extra time to ensure that we were completely satisfied with our decisions. We also purchase stain for our new decks. We had concerns about matching the color of our cabin. Adam, one of the specialist took the time to stain some wood for us in different options. He even went to our home (we live full time in Florida) and took pictures to make sure we were informed and happy.Finally the installers that installed our flooring were very professional and very nice people. I was impressed that both of them had worked for the company for over 15 years, wow!!It is apparent to us that this is a family owned business and true sense of family within the staff. These people take ownership of what they do. We will definitely do business with them again...

Keith, Dario and the whole team took such great care of us. They were quick to get us on the schedule, they walked us through selections and made recommendations, and the installation was easier than I could have imagined. We had multiple work crews in our house at the same time, and they were in and out without a peep of disruption. The carpet looks great, and we even came in under budget! Dario was working solo while I was out, and he even moved some packages that were delivered inside the house so they wouldn’t be rained on without asking. Such thoughtful & lovely people. Would absolutely use them again and recommend highly!

We had them replace floors in 3 different areas of our home. The original was ceramic tile that had not been properly installed, it was cracking in several areas and the grout was failing. We replaced with a new type of waterproof flooring that has a cork backing. It really is quieter than the tile and should be warmer in the winter, it is also not slippery when wet, that was a huge problem with the ceramic tile. The install created minimal dust and so far they have been very responsive during the work. Keith was great to work with.

First let me say, I love Benjamin Moore paint, but then I met Keith and Lora and now I am buying from people that I really like and not just paint that I love. They are kind and passionate about what they do. Their staff is amazing, each one of them is very, very well trained in how to nuance a color to get it exactly that perfect shade. They understand LRV, tone and how the color can change in different lighting. But back to Lora and Keith, if you want flooring, tile or backsplash they have that too. All quality products, all sold with your best interest, and your pocketbook in mind. They are fair-minded, fair priced, quality driven people. You don't find that just everywhere, I am so glad I found it here.

Had a great customer service experience with Adam the store representative. He helped me find the stain we used on our cabin in hiawassee over 10 years ago. I never thought they kept records that far back, but thank God they did, and adam assisted me with finding the best stain for our deck and cabin home. Keith and Lora are local owners of this business. Keith has owned the business for 11 years and worked there ten years prior for a total of 21 years. Having tried to make decisions for flooring at the mega stores, I was in need of an experienced service person. I found two such people at Clayton Paint and Flooring Center : both Keith and wife Lora. Lora professionally helped me select carpeting and other flooring for two homes. Lora has the decorating know-how for color, type of product, and budget. She is patient and tireless. Today I took a color swab of fabric for a new sofa and chair and was successful in selecting the best color of paint. Because they live locally, their friendly faces are seen in the community.
