This store needs to be shut down. Over priced a gallon of cooking oil should not cost 25.00. I rather drive 30 plus minutes than to pay the price they charge. Ridiculous price for people on fixed income. 🙄 I wish more people would speak out about this store.

The prices are extremely high. The deli food is not appealing yet they charge by the pound. A plate of grits and 4 pieces of bacon is almost $10. This doesn't include a drink. A frozen chicken rice bowl @ Wal-mart is $2 @ our local piggly wiggly it is $6.The one positive is the staff. The cashiers treat customers with respect and they're friendly.

The store is clean, and the employees are all very nice, but if you have the fuel to make it, just ride on over to Woodbury and go to Ingles.... Your wallet will thank you.

It is a little pricey (just like any small town grocery store in Georgia), the meat selection is hit or miss; Some times they have a great selection other times it’s just not stocked up. The people that work there have always been nice, they have to me anyways. My only real complaint is the other customers, some of y’all be in there touching every package of meat trying to dig out the cheapest one. If you’re doing that & see someone waiting, just move for a minute so I can get what I need & go. You are not the only shopper in the store. All in all I go here for convenience & just grab a few things when I don’t feel like driving all the way out to Columbus or ingles.

I've used this location many times over the years. I've never had anything negative to review. It's always clean and stocked well. When I do my grocery shopping I buy for a few weeks because of where I live so I do tend to fill my buggy up. The lady that checked us out didn't seem thrilled to see me standing in her line. Although, I understand.

The food on Sundays costs too much. Ordered chicken breast (just one) with cornbread muffins around 8 dollars for each box. Never go back to the deli again. It wasn't good anyway👎

Prices are super high now. Some cashiers act like they really don't want to be there. Oftentimes the produce is wilted or are going bad. I prefer to drive a little farther to get fresh meats and produce at a better price.

Piggly Wiggly, Manchester Georgia is the most expensive store I've ever shopped. I have lived in numerous states and visited 49 of them and am in the resale business 43 years now which I feel deems me qualified to pass judgment on an extremely overpriced store. Grits....5.99 unless on sale. The cheapest, smallest jar of off brand mayonnaise..... 4.00 and for a larger jar..... between 7.00 and 9.00. I went to the deli for lunch to go and got 2 meals consisting of 1 meat and 2 vegetables each. Not large servings by any means. Nearly 29.00. Went back a few weeks later thinking that I would just get some mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese and 1 tiny piece of cornbread......nearly 13.00. (The same meal at Ingles....6.00) went to purchase groceries at 11:45 a.m. and had a cart with nearly 160.00 worth of groceries. Proceded to the register only to find no cashier working and was told by manager I had to use self checkout. I am disabled now and have a very bad heart that limits my abilities. It was all I coukd do just to walk through the store to make my purchases as there was no electric cart available for use, as usual. The space to bag your cart of groceries is approximately 18"×18". If you remove a bag to put in your cart so you can continue bagging an alarm sounds. Not only are they the only grocer to choose from with the same customer service mentality in this town, they are extremely insensitiveto the needs of handicapped people that are unable to manage some tasks. I know that prices are on the rise as national issues take place but this is absolutely ridiculous. Go in....take your phone....video your shopping experience along with price checking and youll see for yourself. There will be friends and or employees to counter this review but all I can say is go in and see for yourself. Youll see what Im saying is fact!

The only grocery store in our area. Too high priced for a small country town. We want deals, and NOT the meat 5 for $21.!Some folks can't travel to other stores because their 40 minutes to an hour away, like Walmart.I travel to Columbus or LaGrange for groceries and for my meats Hometown market in LaGrange.As a small town, with citizens w limited money, like our elderly, this place is NOT WORTH IT!!!Plus, there's one cashier that's really nasty. Not pleasant at all!!!Never speaks to customers, I could be ugly and tell the truth about how she really acts towards CERTAIN customers, but I'll save her the embarrassment.Please for God's sake improve this store in all ways!!!!Make it more affordable and it's not just this recession, it's all the time!!!A jar of mayo is $7.99!!!RIDICULOUS 🙄

I try to not shop here out of principle. They keep other grocery stores from coming in and bought out Food Outlet a few years ago, which was an excellent store. Went here during my lunch break the other day because I was in a hurry and bought a batch of green bananas. Every one of them were brown or black inside. Had to throw the entire, over-priced batch away. I'm sticking with Ingles from now on. A farther drive, but MUCH better selection and quality!

Visiting family and sad to see only one grocery store. The pig was priced like fresh market with nothing fresh about it. Super outdated and dirty. Vegetables all wilted and bruised. And absolutely everything over priced. I wish I could give it no stars.

I decided to stop and pick up a few things. I walk in and out. No cashier store poorly stocked. Beer sitting where fruits and veggies usually are kept. Never saw anyone but you knew you were on camera. Didn't walk around the whole store as it was visible from the front entrance it wasn't worth my time maybe great for someone else as I noticed game machines and lottery.

Okay, it's true that the place is a little older, but things seemed fresh enough, and the service was good for us. It's the biggest grocery store my wife and I visited in the Pine Mountain area. Selection is good. Prices are competitive, even good on some things. AND it's the only supermarket we could find open Sunday, so that helps!

Soooo expensive even though "sales" are posted. $9.99 for Miracle Whip with an instant $5.00 savings. Who do they think they are fooling? I'm sure this is done because there's no competition locally. I would run in to grab 2 or 3 things but for a large shopping trip, I'll take the 35 minute drive to Columbus.

This store usually has my items that I usually get about once a week and it’s better than having to go 30+ miles for Walmart. The only reason I didn’t give a 5-star rating is their prices, I wish they could be a little lower.

This place needs to be closed down! How do you sale out of date meat and on top of that a lot of the meat looks as if it’s been left in the sun and brought into the store to be sold! That’s disgusting! This is my last day shopping in this store! I’ll stick to food depot! They have the best meat hands down! If I could give 0 stars I would!

Only grocery store in Manchester. Often has sales on items, even meats like sausages, after the use by date. That is illegal. Also they advertise sales on certain days, then the item is not on sale. Asked the meat dept today and was told they can't do anything about it, and that there was no manager there. So no one is even minding the store. The owner of this store keeps any other grocery stores from opening in the city. He rents empty buildings to stop them. Often there is ruined meat for sale. So brown I wouldn't feed to my dogs. I plan on recording all this along with a newspaper and reporting them to the grocery board of Georgia. Buyer beware. Look at everything closely and the dates. Good luck!

Way over priced because it's the only grocery store in the are. The employees are awesome but the goods are 3-5 times higher than the family dollar or walmart!! 36 eggs are 6+ bucks and maybe 2 bucks at Wal-Mart!

One of the older stores I shop but I still get the best deals here and manage to keep my produce bins well supplied weekly. Staff is amazingly helpful and friendly.

If you get groceries here, do NOT buy meat. I got burger and some steaks and there were maggots in the burger and the steaks were almost rot. They got cooked no different then any other steak in this house and they were basically mush.

Very ghetto. Cashiers gossiping and cursing while ringing me up. I only go if I have no choice. I usually drive about an hour to Newnan, Lagrange or Columbus if Rose's, Family Dollar or Dollar General don't have what I need. Just turns me off to go there.

I have purchased hamburger meat and within 2 days in the fridge, it turns brown. I also have found that the meat is red outside and brownish in the middle.

Quality of fresh vegetables is always pretty poor. They have monopolized the area and raised the prices of most things in the store. I prefer to shop anywhere else.
