They purport to sell things at cost plus 10%, I think. It's a confusing pricing structure but at the end when I cashed out I was happy and satisfied. There is a good selection of brands here.

Those prices are getting a lil ridiculous! I typically will only get my meats from penny pinches then everything else from Walmart. They seem to hire the most socially awkward cashiers as well. However I do enjoy Ms Denise, MJ, Charlotte and Worm they are great employees!!

Cheap, but not a lot of choices and you have to be careful about the frozen veggies. I've seen them severely frost-bitten. The fresh vegetables are often very wilted.Update: This is what I bought just now. Moldy garlic. Yum.

I enjoy shopping here. It’s cost plus 10% and they have a different selection than the other stores in town. There’s a nice selection of Latino cuisine here which happens to be my favorite! There’s fresh produce of great quality. My boyfriend loves the Vienna sausage in barbecue sauce and this is the only place I can find it. Also I love the peach & mango cool aid and the sharkelberry fin cool aid and this is the only place I find it. (Don’t judge) lol. The big store, (not calling any names), never have any of the 3 items I listed. The deli has a wide variety of delicious prepared foods daily and the employees are very friendly. I will continue to shop there as often as I can!

I saw the sale at Penny Pinchers in Cedartown.I bought a Boneless Beef Sirloin Roast yesterday that had a sell by date of 04/08/2023 and when I flipped it over this is what I found.It is dark grey/brown, slimy with a strong bad odor.I couldn't find my receipt so lesson learned.It's no wonder that they don't have a "Review" page or allow pictures on their Facebook page.😡🤢🤮

I was not expecting what I found! Particularly in this horrible weather. The produce section was very well stocked! Everything was fresh & well displayed. The store was easy to navigate and find what I was looking for! I will be back in the future, and I think that this place is the first place I go to the next time I'm looking for fresh produce! I'm excited to see what they have in the beef and poultry departments soon!

It is the first place I've ever been to there's supposed to be a discount and the prices are pretty much about the same and then they add 10% too the total price I've never seen this before some products are about the same price some products a little cheaper but by the time they add to 10% at the end of the billing it ain't no different nowhere else it's the same price and I don't know how they say they're cheap because really they're not not what I did now that's the only place I've ever seen where you can get you like a little I guess it'll be a fourth of a gallon of milk I know that was pretty neat I mean they got no they got products that Hispanic products and their laundry products are a little cheap but like I said by the time you add the 10% to the price I don't see how it's cheaper but I don't know maybe I could be wrong thank you for letting me give my opinion you have a great day

Penny pinchers claim to be cost plus 10% well that is not exactly true! You pay for the price they have it listed for plus 10% added to you total at the checkout. I compared the price on basic everyday item at the grocery store against Kroger which people say is over priced and guess what? Penny Pinchers was higher by about .30cents to almost 1.00 not to mention if I had bought the items and checked out they would have added another 10% on top of the overpriced items to begin with. So NO NO NO I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and on top of that the store was dirty!

Deli is clean and the food is hot, but why the price increases constantly...The last 3 times I've been there and ordered the EXACT same things ( well actully today I ordered the plates without potatoes), I keep having to pay more. Today was almost $18.00 for 3 plates .... Doesn't make sense...Just so everyone knows I'm not just exaggerating.. This is for a small bowl of mashed potatoes ($1.35), 2 plates of Taco Salad & roll ($3.59 & $3.59) and 1 plate of a double order of Taco Salad & a roll ($7.13)Seems a bit much

I ran in recently, right at closing time and at checkout, my debit card wouldn't work. Denise, the manager, took over but the card still wouldn't work. She was going to pay for my groceries out of her own pocket, but my card miraculously worked on the last try. She had heard me say, "That's supper and breakfast" as I was trying to checkout. You just don't meet helpful people like Denise anymore and I really appreciated the gesture. She deserves Employee of the Year! Thanks Denise!

Penny Pinchers is an oddity of a supermarket but still delivers nonetheless , they have an added 10% to the cost of all items which is unheard of in my lifetime so far, but the prices are generally so low that it balances out. They have a great meat department and offer a personal shuttle service free of charge if necessary. The staff is ...quirky ... But I can never say I saw one of them chillin doing nothing before . They work hard and are always friendly .

Some of the employees are super nice but there upper management team needs to be retrained in customer service more specific the older lady with gray hair about five foot 9 she has always been super rude to me and my family she really don't need to be a manager.

Well being the fact theres not but 2 grocery stores and Kroger is a little expensive I shop here. I cant say great prices i used to live in Rome. However there quick and have all your grocery needs.

Penny Pinchers is more expensive than let's say Wal-Mart. Then they add another 10% on top of that, choices are very limited also. If you can get to a better quality store, do it. 👎

Been using this store as far back as I can remember. Love the home grown tomatoes, souse meat and thick bologna. Meat prices are usually pretty good.

I like the taco salad made in the deli.As for shopping, cost + 10% is a joke. Prices are comparable to Kroger and Kroger doesn't add an extra 10%!
