The Kroger in Cedartown has had it's moments, both Good and mediocre, but that is life. We are all dealing with each on good and bad days, but today was exemplary!!! A cashier, a young gentleman named Chase was polite, professional, and caring all at the same time. The young Hispanic family in front of me in line was a full cart. He was quick and courteous. He bagged he item like it was his own, double bagging as needed and filling the cart without squashing anything. He said Thank you to this couple as they left. Chase was equally as polite to me with just 6 items, helping put the bagged item s in my cart. He said Thank you to me as I paid for my groceries. We all remember the sass and ugly of difficult employees of stores we have shopped in. It is better, I think to remember that Chases of this world that are polite, professional and do the job with respect and support. Thank you, Chase!!!

The Produce department needs work. Everything in my last visit was infested with gnats. The tomatoes in particular were disappointing. Careful buying yogurts. I purchased an icelandic yogurt a few months back that was a month expired.

This store is so outdated it really needs improvement. Go in other kroger and its fresh and updated. Cedartown store is just bad

A major grocery chain but yet it is able to maintain a hometown feel.Store is clean and everyone is very helpful.Great selection of healthier food options: to include vegetarian and vegan options.Deli has many offerings, both hot and cold. Also has a varied assortment of baked goods.

Far better prices than Wal-Mart, and a much better atmosphere. If you use the app, you will save a ton on your weekly grocery bill.

If I had done self-check today, I could give 5 stars. The cashier was James. I step up as he starts scanning my items. I say "Hi, how are you?" No response, no facial expression. I mention I have a coupon for the cereal & give it to him, still nothing. He tells me the total, I insert my card, complete the transaction & he hands me the receipt. No "thank you" or, "you saved X amount of dollars", nothing. Simply starts scanning the next order. Clearly, he didn't want to be there and, honestly, neither did I! I'm going to do my shopping at Publix, since I work in Rome. Shopping there really is a pleasure and the employees don't make you feel like it's an imposition to ring up your order. (Also, my mom was there about 30 minutes ahead of me and she had the same cashier & the same experience.)

Don’t buy produce unless you plan on using it the same day. Every time I buy produce on Friday, it’s bad by Sunday. Ridiculous.

My favorite grocery store that also houses my pharmacy. A lot of the employees have been there for years and learn your name. I especially love Michelle in the florist!!!

Stopped by this Kroger store location yesterday while nearby visiting my family. I was actually very surprised that the staff and many customers were still complying by the COVID-19 pandemic precautions. The store was very clean and well maintained to a high standard. The staff was very professional and friendly with all the customers. Overall my experience was very good and I received great customer service. I'm sure that I'll be back when I'm in town next time.

The pharmacy is not efficient. The pharmacy is not helpful and extremely rude. It is unfortunate there is only one person the is kind that works there . It should not take an hour to fill birth control that is a refill . Seriously . .. the people here have zero ZERO CUSTOMER SEEVICE SKILLS and do not care about their job . Especially the lady with blonde hair. She had the biggest attitude but luckily a very kind woman was helping me as I was unaware while the other woman. Kept being rude.The other woman with the brown hair was kind helpful sincere and calmed me down , while I had to endure such rudeness from the other woman . People need their medicine but it does not give y'all the right to be rude. Tomorrow is never promised and you should be kind to all . I hope cooperate see this bc they need to reevaluate who is tending to the community.

I was in the store in Rome Georgia today, and the cashier was extremely rude. When I put my Kroger card on top of my bread for her to scan she said I am not ready for that yet. Wait until I tell you. The people ahead of us she treated extremely well. With us every time she scanned something she literally threw it down to the person bagging. I said you don’t have to throw my stuff like that. She said it’s because I don’t want your stuff to get squeezed. Im like that’s not going to be a problem because if you keep throwing my things they will break!! She was so rude and inconsiderate. Honestly I have never encountered such a disrespectful person in a grocery store. How does this person keep a job?? I’m never going back to that store again. Cashier’s name was Dianne or Dieanna which ever. Older lady. She needs some people skills or get a job that doesn’t require working with the public. I spend a lot of money at your store. Im not anymore.

This store needs to Hire a Produce Manager!!! Just got home with a package of corn, 7 ears, supposedly Fresh, with mold all on the inside! I called the store, ask to speak with a manager, the nice young lady paged them, but No One Picked Up! I decided, Heck With Taking this mess back, I just won’t shop there ever again. I “assume” the higher powers in Kroger have decided to Pass On Rotten Products to the Consumer Also! Sad such a quaint area has Nothing better to choose from than this! I miss my Texas HEB!!!

Experienced my first curbside pick up today in Cedartown ha. It was great!! The lady, Michelle, that brought my groceries to the car was so nice and helpful. The problem I did have was that website would not let me order Kroger wheat day online. I definitely know it was on shelf in store. I will definitely use this service again. Thank you.

I also have problems with them being open to selling pen needles for my insulin pens. Rude and nasty. First girl did not even respond she just walked off. Second girl threw a fit even after I showed her my box with the insulin pens and it’s script sticker attached. Insulin needed and syringes do not require a prescription. If the pharmacists think they above the law they are mistaken. Perhaps it’s time for the customers to band together.

I come from out of town to sit with an elderly woman I do her shopping and handle her needs. Ive came to this store twice before with no issue of having to have a pen number . Today. The cashier was rude and unwilling to help me as it wouldn't allow me to run her card as credit. It's the end of the week and she is home bound I like to have everything she needs to last through the weekend. I do not work on weekends I called to inform management and allow them to speak with her but they hung up on me both times! SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I will be calling the hire ups. No stars!!

I'm usually very satisfied when I shop at Kroger. Since Covid came along, seems like anywhere I shop doesn't always have everything I need in stock. I search for Recee's International Delight every time I walk in the store, but it hasn't been available for months and months. It's the best. That is my only complaint! The store is always clean, well organized, and there's a great selection of products. Overall, Kroger is my favorite store for groceries and prescriptions.

Very clean, awesome prices for clearance items and they stay on top of out of date items! They have a wide variety of fresh produce and I haven't found a rotten vege on the shelf yet. However, their staff always seems bothered by the customers and on multiple occasions I have come in contact with employees that either don't talk to me at all while I'm checking out or they have an attitude.

“Small town, everyone knows your name” sort of feel to this Kroger. I always love to see the friendly faces and even get a hug from the staff sometimes. I buy organic and vegan. They have a good selection of items that I use daily. They also have great sales.
