While camping at nearby Victoria Bryant State Park we found this gem! Best fried chicken ever! Perfect crust and juicy! Buffet is $14 with a nice salad bar included! I had the entree with 3 sides for $11.99 so much food I had a take home plate! Friend Ordered fried catfish, delicious with mild flavor. Real (slightly lumpy-yum!) mashed potatoes. Workers have the best attitude and friendliness! Thank you!!

We travel back-and-forth between Atlanta and Charlotte quite a bit. We are always looking for a good place to grab a quick meal. Sometimes stopping at a place on the side of the road can be risky for black folks traveling in GA. But not today! So glad we found echo south this morning! Ms. Dinah was welcoming and so sweet. The food was good and hot. Ms. Freda also came out to say hello. We’ve only been once but we are definitely coming back!

I can't elaborate enough on how amazing this place is! We have been driving from NC ONLY to eat here, turning around and going home for years!My father being a truck driver and driving to Atlanta from Charlotte many times a week is what brought on the discovery of this gem.I've never had anything that want delicious, and when they have the hot bar open, fill your plate because this is so good down home cooking!Don't come through this area without stopping by for at least a biscuit. You'll be very glad you did!Vegetarian options: They serve vegetable only plates. Home-grown vegetables... serve them on a bar and straight from grandma's kitchen! Yum! I can't promise you that they aren't made with animal byproducts (lard/fat/grease in beans, etc.).Parking: Their parking lot is made for 18 wheelers to park out behind the restaurant and cars to park up front. Plenty of parking available!

What a great little Mom and Poptruck stop! Fast and friendly service. My waitress was attentive and so nice! The food was absolutely delicious! Huge portions at very reasonable prices! Had plenty left over for supper! The place was cleaned on the inside and out. Very quiet at night!

Peaceful semi parking and plenty of it. Plenty of trash cans too so no need to trash up a good parking truckers! There is a restaurant here and gas but I didn't use either.

I ordered the Trucker's French Toast Breakfast. The over medium eggs were cooked perfectly and the homemade sausage was delicious. The french toast was light and satisfying. The staff was courteous and the facilities were well maintained. It's a nice change from the chain breakfast joints. We will return :]

🅿️ Parking — huge paved lot with many open spots at 0030. At this time of night, lights were off at restaurant, c-store, and fuel island but parking lot was lit. Quiet. Clean.Around 0900 numerous UPS trucks descended on the lot and began doing PM (loudly) on their trucks. Broke the silence.🍔 Food — old-school/small town diner setup with buffet at certain times. Huge portions priced appropriately. Kind and welcoming staff. Locals and truckers both congregate here for food (even those pesky UPS guys doing PM on their trucks). Come in and seat yourself. Family-owned. Lots of seating. Homemade biscuits are the size of a large palm!!🚻 Restroom — clean restroom that smells nice (in the restaurant). Keep in mind if you come in at 0030, no public restrooms are available.🛎️ Service — attentive and sweet staff. My coffee cup was never empty. Family atmosphere in the restaurant.Will stop here again!!

This was better than any TA or Petro restaurant. The size and quality of the buffet was bigger and better. The restrooms are as clean as any I've been in. Lunch time on a Tuesday plenty of truck parking. The waitresses were all friendly and knowledgeable. The food was just as good as Grandma can do. Don't tell her. Lol. I was given a veterans discount without even asking for it. They saw my hat and asked me did I serve. Needless to say my first visit was a success I will return.

Always a good experience here home cooking on the road and the're peach cobbler is like Big momma use to make... There food kills any of the greasy spoon truck stops buffet.. I think Friday and Saturday they serve seafood buffet.. If u get a chance exit 160 I-85 GA stop on in..

Definitely recommend. We stopped at the Echo Truck Stop and Restaurant in Carnesville, GA for birthday lunch for my husband, we are commercial truck team drivers. The food was so good. It was a lunch buffet with fried chicken, ham, turkey, chicken and dumplings, green beans, corn, green lima beans, mashed taters and gravy, mac and cheese, cabbage and sausage, broccoli casserole, and more. It also had a small salad and dessert bar. Everything was very tasty and well seasoned. Reminded me of the Sawmill Restaurant back home. Plus the price was great. Under $20 for 2 people. Can't beat that. Definitely recommend this place.
