The assistant manager there at the new dollar general is the rudest. She accused my daughter of not paying for an item and my daughter had to show the receipt to get her to back off. I will be calling her boss. And come to find out she has done this alot to other customers

Clean store with typical Dollar General prices... some discounted with some higher than at other places. Though several aisles had racks of merchandise waiting to be put on shelves, the store seemed generally well-stocked. I only saw one employee, a cashier, in my brief approximately 10 minute visit. Large parking lot with ample room to turn a large rig around in.

Wasn't happy with the empty shelves, All of the women that usually work there are friendly, except for one female that was working that day. I understand that she may have been overworked and tired. But so was I. I was there again today. The same woman was there,and still unfriendly. If it wasn't for the $5 off on Sat,that you get with your reciet,. I probably wouldn't go back. Unless the previous employies are still employed there I haven't seen any of them there in the last 2 trips. I don't expect any cashier to treat me like their best friend. But I do expect a "Thank you" when I hand them my hard earned money.

If I didnt actually have to leave a star to do this review I wouldn't. Let me say first I am not a complainer nor a rude person. Store is supposed to open at 8 and the two ladies apparently have no concept of this because they didn't open on time. I was waiting to go in even at 8:05. 5 mins isn't a lot fo people usually but I have a 4 mon old and a schedule I have to keep also. I could have been out already by the time they actually opened. When they did unlock the doors they said not one word to me but I opened the door to come in and as I am pushing my child in the stroller thru the door the lady starts pushing a cart that had kiddie pools on it toward me blocking my way in. She kept pushing it seeing that I had my stroller pretty much in the store. Again not a word spoken between her and the elderly lady she worked with to me. Not excuse me I need to bring these out first etc. As I had to awkwardly hold the door and back the stroller back out I had to let the door close on my side and the door hit the pools that's how close she was with them. I said I would have been glad to hold the door for you but my child was still in front of it. Anyways, they are rude and honestly every time I go in this one that's how they are. Also always a long line if they are ever at the counter anyway. I turned around and just left at that point. I luckily remembered they built another one right off 51 a few min away! Bigger and better CS. I have never left a review on a business before that I can remember but anyone who took their time to read this save your mood and time and go to the one 5 min away!

This store was DISGUSTING 😠the shelves were very unorganized and you can barely even push a shopping cart through the isles because there are boxes and crates everywhere. The Manager was very unprofessional, she took a personal phone call while ringing me up, then instead of putting items in the bags she started handing them to me to try to put in bags. The bathroom was REPULSING, very dirty and smelled horrible. 10/10 would not recommend

If you're smart this is the last place you should seek employment. They pay you minimum wage send you to out lying stores with no travel compensation. The work schedule means nothing because they will send you a text on your scheduled day off telling you to report for work, to a store other than your normal place of work with the ultimatum report or your fired.

It was so dangerous today . Big stock carts everywhere and I could get down half the iles. Then I went to get something off a shelve and things from stock cart fell on me and the stock man thought it was pretty funny. This store is going down hill fast.

On 8/6 I went in to the store in Carnesville ga (zip 30521). The store manager was running the register. There was an old man there trying to use the card reader and obviously was not understanding. In stead of helping the man she responded with irritation (by rolling her eyes and shaking her head) and finally went around to help. (Which she did with smartbutt tone). After he had left I confronted her about it because I was next in line. Her response? She rolled her eyes at me! As long as she is managing this store I will not go back in there and I will make sure everyone in our area knows what kind of store manager is at that location.

Can't get around in the store from excess stock not put up. Would love to shop at that Dollar General due to its close location to my home but, have to drive 25 minutes away for another store. Please get someone to clean this place.

Amazing customer service. Carrie was the lady that was amazingly helpful. Very pleasant and fast customer service. I give a shout out to her and her hard work. I continue to go to this store. Highly recommended.

I go here because its close to home , but this is the worst store. I asked a lady if she would check the back for some children's tylonal because there was none on the shelf, her response I'm not going to dig through those boxes so no.I've also been there and had a child in a car seat my hands full of bags and no one willing to help open the door,Also had to go search for a buggy when I could find one told the lady that was talking to another worker , she said they are all out side ill get to them in a bit.This store is ridiculous , no manners , and don't take care to help the customers!!!!I only go here when in a hurry have no other choice .

I frequent this store at least twice every week. The staff is the most friendly of any place that I shop. Always a good selection and well stocked shelves as well.

Was shopping for a tumbler at this store. Picked one up off the shelf, it was very heavy and I dropped it. Upon inspection, it was full of stale urine, which splashed over my feet and legs. They directed me to a restroom which was very unsanitary also. They made no attempt to right this until I called the district manager. He had not even been told of this incident until I finally got in touch with him through their website. Then about a month later, they sent me a 20.00 gift card enclosed in a card which read,' WE WELCOME YOUR BUSINESS"-not "I am sorry for your unpleasant experience in our store." The entire incident was mishandled, much of which I am not going into in this forum. If you value cleanliness and safety, I would avoid this store like the plague.

Sometime there is very slow service because of one lane being closed and so many people come in the dollar store but you can usually find what you need in a short amount of time

Only run in to buy catfood or bag of ice when in a hurry. They are much higher priced than Dollar Tree.
