I give 3 stars only becauseThe daytime manager seems to have his staff in line....BUT when I go into this store anytime past 9pmThe cashier's are huddled up in a group laughing and chit chattingI'm not going to do their job on self checkout while they are standing and getting paid for me to do their job. You need to hire responsible adults to work during this time instead of all kids.

Not my usual location of the chain only been here once or twice. Parking is easy, the store clean and well organized, the staff helpful and friendly. I usually shop around before I buy, and FL usually gets the majority of my visits. They are having good promotions and other special offers, plus their private name products seem to be the best combination of price and quality. Otherwise their prices tend to be above average.

Young gentleman in Meat Dept went out of his way to help me find the items for which I was looking. Sadly, I didn’t get his name but thought that it’s rare that young people are so courteous and helpful these days. He was working about 2pm on Sunday 6/4/2023. Hopefully his supervisor will see this and commend the young man appropriately. Thank you sir!

Good alternative from Walmart if you don’t want to stand in line for a long time and I don’t care for the self-service checkout ! I believe all stores should have cashiers instead of machines it’s keeping good people from having a job !

I had to get water , ice cream , and some frozen dinners and english breakfast tea . I was in and out within 3 or 4 minutes. The employees are always very nice as I go there once or twice every week. Also, the new remodel really does look a lot better and has a much cleaner , more inviting aesthetic.

My husband bought a birthday cake for me at this Food Lion last week. He didn’t order it it was just regular cake, yellow with buttercream frosting. It was the most delicious cake I’ve had in ages. It actually looked homemade and it tasted so good that we cannot stop eating it! I’ve always recommended Food Lions cakes to everyone. I Especially do now. The people in that store are very nice and always helpful.

They have limited brands of items, but the items they do have are typically high quality, and there are some things you can find here that don't appear on any of the bigger name grocery store shelves! (Food Lion's Hot Sauce game is respectable!) The store is clean, prices are fair, and it's in a pretty great spot.

They are conveniently located but the workers are not so friendly. The cashiers at least. Also need better stock on certain items. But i know someone who works there and they say they love their job. The pic is of red bananas by the way lol

My favorite store to shop at here in Calhoun, the employees are always friendly and helpful, it is always a very neet and clean store and the produce has ways been good & fresh. In my opinion the best grocery store in town.

Nice, clean grocery store wit a very big selection on almost everything & a lot I don't even see at the other grocery stores..even wal- mart. Especially wal-mart. Friendly staff, fresh fruits & veggies, really nice cuts of meat. Prices aren't outrageous, but having a very small budget some things are a lil pricy for me. But the meats & fruits & veggies are well worth it. Dairy & deli is always fresh & really good...not about to spoil by the next day. That's a Plus. So 5⭐ to Food City. It's a pleasant experience for me everytime. I recommend them to anyone who isn't too Happy wit their present grocery store. Visit them once & u'll probably Keep going back. I do.

Food lion always has everything I need and this location is one that is well managed and stocked. A great store to have on my side of town.The store has undergone work to make it easier to navigate to find what you need. Staff is very kind and eager to help.

This is our go-to grocery store. If you're looking for an upscale grocery with lots of options, this is not what you want. But if you're looking for low prices with decent overall quality, this Food Lion definitely hits the mark, especially if you use a Food Lion card (the "Shop & Earn" component saves us literally hundreds of dollars per year on groceries).

We were on our way from camping in Tennessee on route to our next camping location and stopped in to pick up a few things. It was our luck to check out in Ms. Terry's line. She was so friendly and upbeat, she was that way to everyone who went thru her line. We left there wishing we lived close enough to shop there on a regular basis. She is definitely a great asset to your store.

Went shopping at Kroger Saturday and spent 150 dollars... Had I known Food Lion was having such a great sale this weekend I could've really gotten so much more for my money$! In my opinion Kroger and Food Lion are the best 2 options in town for quality and price! But this weekend belongs to Food Lion for sure... Great weekend of sales!

Needs to be more pacific on their sales and advertisements. We went today 7/14/22 to buy a couple of the Smithfield pork tenderloins that is advertised for $5.99 on select varieties, the sale paper does not state ANY particular seasoned tenderloin.. we bought 2 of the mesquite seasoned and we were charged $9.99 each. I took the receipt to the girl at self checkout and told her we were over charged and told her they was on sale, she looks at the receipt and tells me that it rung up right and my wife looked at receipt and said no it didn't so she tries explaining it to the girl and even took the girl back to the meats and showed her the Smithfield pork tenderloins and th girl tells my wife that the sale was on all pork tenderloins except the mosqite. If that be so why was it not stated in the sale paper and on the price at the meat cooler? That's false advertising if you ask me. I'm very disappointed in food lions customer service.

I'll never shop here the manger here named Louie needs replaced and the woman that's there at close every night running cash register. They made me feel so embarrassed when I fell about 10.00 short but instead of just letting me remove maybe 2 or 2 things so I could complete my order no they just suspend my entire order
