Dollar General has came a lot better since they got new manager. And you can move around in the store now. They do not have buggies full of products needed to be put on the shelf in the way. I'm very happy about this store. I shop there more now. Thank you to the new manager

Went for ice and packing tape, spent $515 (I dont know how either), forgot the ice and packing tape!! Pictured is what was left after the cab of the truck was full (two buggies worth)!!

Nice clean, newly remodeled store & friendly employees. This Dollar General has made great improvements over the last several months. If I need something on my way to work or after work, this is where I stop. I highly recommend!

Small, crowded with merchandise with little to no space to put it. Some prices were better than some stores but as far as normal shower toiletries go there are better prices at a much bigger store for name brand than the price of the off brand at Dollar General. Get a bigger building, organize with shelving to fit the merchandise you have, keep it clean, and ensure that you have enough room around the registers for the flow of traffic.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Most people do not like long lines, and we have always been able to go in and get what we want without delay. This Dollar general is always having great deals and sales. It's quick and convenient shopping.

The staff goes above and beyond to greet and assist customers. The isles are usually packed with boxes stock to be put out or racks of other things. Definitely hard to maneuver through the store sometimes.

I’m new to the area and I went here a few times but this last time I went to trade in my old propane tank for a new one, it felt kind of light but I figured it was just because the propane tank was a little bit smaller than my old one. The next morning I went to use it and the seal didn’t appear tight and go figures it didn’t have enough propane in it to even get my grill started. I Immediately went back to see if they would give me another since they sold me a propane tank that was pretty much empty from the beginning, but the manager said I couldn’t exchange because I broke the seal! And he said the only way I could get another tank was to pay another 25$ after I already paid for what I thought was a new tank to begin with. Disappointing and I will no longer shop here.

This store needs some serious help. We The tall female employee at the first register refused to check out anyone with a buggy. And she was very rude. Self checkout was only accepting cards, which caused people to leave the line, and then walk back to first register. Absolute chaos at the checkout line

Customer service was very good but the store was a hot, hot mess. Every aisle was in disarray and the shelves were even worse. It was so disorganized and messy that I found it uncomfortable to even shop. Had it not been for the employees and their friendless, helpful attitudes this would have been a one star store to me.

Disappointed. Shelves empty, hard to move around to find anything. Not the way I remembered it from several months ago when I lived in the area. Not enough employees. Long wait to be checked out. Girl was doing best she could without help.

This store is haphazardly put together and the isles don't allow for a wheelchair access. The parking lot needs to be rethought because of the close proximity to the highway, it is hard to exit the highway into the lot. I go out of my way not to shop at this location. Very surprised that it is still in business.

Thankful to have this place in Byron because there isn't but 2 other places to shop for things you need to grab on the way home. Nice people, always busy, sometimes items sold out but still thankful.

Christmas Eve about 7 pm they were open. I feel bad but happy at same time. I needed batteries for a metal detector I bought for my husband. Thanks Dollar General and Merry Christmas.

I typically LOVE all DG stores however there are 3 in Byron and only 1 of the 3 actually is worth going to. One is so bad with junk and pallets that u cannot even use shopping cart down most aisles and good luck finding anything. The 2 newer ones ARE the best with both having great home decor selections that are unexpected for DG and good quality employees who are polite helpful and don't act like you are aggravating them by walking in. Go to the 2 New ones only

Absolutely awful. It looks as though a tornado has swept throw this store. I understand a lot of this has to do with customers not putting merchandise back. But oh my gosh! This store needs a home visit from the district! I went to the Fred's down the street.

My favorite store in Byron. You can find almost anything at a decent price except fresh produce. Try to get groceries at the supermarket cuz the prices are a tad higher at a dollar store but the ppl are friendly and helpful and there's alot to choose from, good quality, at a good price

Awesome staff working at this store.....they seem to always have unpacked boxes in the aisles throughout the store which can be a task to navigate when walking about

This location has a lot of foods so you don't have to go to a big grocery store for milk or biscuits. And they also have a lot of frozen foods.

Good selection genaraly nothing is a dollar but the me keeps you coming back looking for the dollar deal! Never got out door without spending 50$ lol.
