I recently visited Petland hoping to find a new furry friend. However, I was deeply disappointed by the conditions in which the puppies were kept. It was evident that profit was prioritized over the well-being of the animals. The environment was poor, and it was clear that the dogs were not receiving the care and attention they deserve. I left feeling disheartened and saddened by the lack of compassion shown by the staff. I cannot in good conscience recommend this store to anyone looking to adopt a pet.

Let me start off by saying we absolutely adore our puppy that we bought from Petland. I walked in with zero intention of buying a puppy, but after learning that he was "aging out" (at 4 months old) and they didn't have room for him, I couldn't bare the thought of leaving him there. Not to mention they were practically giving him away. They sell you on all the amazing perks that come along with purchasing a puppy from them. Dog cages, toys, food, pet guarantee, vaccines, etc. What they fail to tell you is that they give the puppies their vaccines WAY BEFORE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE GIVEN. Which means they're due for vaccines almost immediately. Our puppy also came from an alleged AKC registered breeder. At our vet appointment, we discovered this AKC breeder doesn't even exist! The only truth they told is that our puppy was microchipped. Knowing what I know now, I would never advise anyone to get a puppy from Petland. There are plenty of doggies in shelters and actual reputable breeders who can provide you with LEGITIMATE documentation. The puppies are adorable and they promise you the world... it's all a scam.

03/04Update :I CALL COSTUMER SERVICE they said they can’t guarantee anything and if I do the DNA test on my puppy and she’s not a chihuahua they can’t do anything NEVER GET A PUPPY FROM THEMI bought my puppy ​​from here and I don't recommend it while you are buying it, everyone is very friendly but then we had a problem with the puppy and they never wanted to help us, I mean for the price we were paying the minimum was that they wanted to help us plus my dog she is supposed to be a Chihuahua but the way she has been growing and her face she is obviously a mix not a pure Chihuahua. and for the price we paid we are very very disappointed

I took my daughter to play with the puppies after school to cheer her up. She fell in love with one, so we purchased him. Very expensive store, but you get the experience of choosing a pup that fits the personality of your family. The store is clean and very well staffed. The pup we chose had only been there 1.5 hours. My daughter fell in love, so we negotiated the price, and it was still $4515 with discounts for a 7 week old Cavachon. It came with accessories, toys, a bag of food, and a cage. He's been with us for 8 weeks now, and we love him.

I found my puppy at Petland and I love her. She is perfect. The issue I had was the upselling that felt very deceptive. I asked for the price of the puppy and we were working through the paperwork for me to purchase her. The way the sales person and the manager were behaving, making me wait for a long time to complete the sale, sales person kept having to “get approval from the manager” on accessories being given…they were like used car salesmen. Then the salesperson dropped the receipt on the counter and I saw where the pricing they quoted was not for the puppy alone, it was including a bunch of extras including the accessories they claimed as being part of the purchase. There is nothing for free so don’t allow them to make you think they are doing you any favors. Look closely at your receipt before you leave.

Awesome!!;, First time there, All the staff were super nice and helpful, the kids got to play with the puppies, they all are so cute. Good place to take family and hang out for a while. We will visit again. If anyone gets a chance y'all should check them out.

Looked clean, workers were friendly, puppies were of course adorable! BUT I Do not support pet stores that use puppy mills and backyard breeders.Edit: don't believe what the say about the high standards, look it up for your self, go to the breeder your self, I promise it will be cheaper as well!

Everything was more than amazing. Cassidy was super kind, transparent, and helpful. They answered our every question. Made the purchase simple and affordable. We got the best dog ever for us. His name is Cappy he’s A pug and his birthday is January 6, 2024. Thank you Cassidy and Petland!

It is a nice store if you are looking to spend some time with cute puppies and get to know them. The pricing is insane. We got a rott from them a year ago and we have already paid about 3.5k for her and the amount left on her only went down 1k. It’s messed up that you get a puppy and then have to deal with a company that basically scams you money wise and if you don’t pay the dog can get taken away and you can get sued for the rest of the money. I admit we were stupid to get the puppy but at the time we had the money. Our dog is now 1 and we are in debt and keep getting money drained from our account because of it. It all is just horrible. Sell the dogs for 2x-3x the price they actually got it for from that puppy “farm”.

I purchased a "mini hippo" from here almost 2 years ago. I did not expect to buy a dog that day but the day I saw my Opie, I knew I had to have him. It costed me around $4,500 but I do not regret anything. Opie is my best friend and the best dog I could've ever asked for. Subtracting a star bc he was not neutered when I got him even though he was 6 months and the price point is very high. He was very skiddish and shy when I first got him, but now he's my cuddle buddy.

Bought my frenchie there. She was sick from day one with giardia. She had severe IVDD and died at 3 years old from kidney cancer. They sell sick dogs that were not bred well. Buy from a reputable breeder instead.

Broke my heart to see these babies locked up. One puppy was pooping blood and the worker claimed it was because of stress. Lies. Plus the dogs are obviously sedated to look more appealing & calm. Broke my heart so bad

The cutest puppies, so gosh darn sweet, too. Touch-deprived, love-deprived. So excessively expensive. These poor good boys and girls won't get adopted by loving homes because y'all price them so frickin high. Plus, they are always in their own filth, and on jnfortunately uncomfy wire floors. Poor poor babies. My heart hurts going in here. I hope y'all get shut down.

Not a very clean place. Feces in the dog cages. That's an excellent way for your "future pet" that you spend thousands on to come home with worms. Why pay thousands to someone who buys animals from a place who supports others to use their pets just to breed and get money. The more litters a female dog has, the more health issues she will have AND the puppies will have. Yes, any dog can have health issues. But when a puppy comes from the first or second litter, the chances of it having health issues are significantly less than if it came from the fifth or sixth litter. If you want a healthy puppy, buy from a private person who isn't running a puppy mill. Just because you are not doing the breeding over and over and over and over yourself does not mean you are not supporting their actions by giving them thousands of dollars. Go to the humane society and save a dog or cat. Give one a better life. Don't support the use of puppy mills people.

I walked in and immediately saw something was off. For whatever reason, almost EVERY dog was asleep, at the same time, during the middle of the day. One dog was awake and had poo in its cage and seemed to be very unhappy. There's something seriously off about this place...

🐩Their puppy's are adorable don't mind what people say this is a new place after all and that means a lot of haters are out to get it! But it definitely gets you pumped getting to pet/hold a puppy/dog 🐶 some people might be leaving hate because they have he'd bad experience in here but it's NOT the worst place on Earth to get a puppy and their pups don't come from puppy mills so go check it out! We purchased a dog from petland about 3 year ago and he is still alive and well! Dog cost about 8500. We financed and all went well. The workers are friendly and the facility is clean with the exception of little puppy tinkles here and there. There are many small booths where you can sit and play with the puppies 1 at a time.

I had not seen a pet store in a mall for over 20 years!Everyone knows pets are expensive. If someone is genuinely asking a question via text or email, you need to at least let them have a general idea of prices.

I made an appointment to visit the puppies there and possibly adopt. The staff was very nice and helpful. My problem was the cost of the puppies!!! Ridiculous!!!! A 3 month old chavachon should not cost over $4,000! More than half as much as it should cost even if it had champion bloodlines! Very disappointing indeed!!!! I really would have liked to have added this beautiful little girl to my family! Instead she is still in a cage at this pet store! Very sad!!!!

I purchased a French bulldog 2yrs ago from this establishment for $7500. He’s a beautiful dog and I love him to death but he has Hip dysplasia. To get this problem fixed it’s around $6000. I highly recommend going to a private breeder versus Pet Land or any establishment associated with them when looking at high quality pets. Please be careful when purchasing from Pet Land!!!!! (Updated 1/16/23 with medical paperwork from 2021 past surgery and petland paperwork. I do no claim they buy from puppy mills, but at the price they are selling your pet should be guaranteed a healthy life without birth defects.)

Was in there a little after noon looking at the puppies. Not one employee said a word to us even when we were showing interest in a shih tze puppy. When we gave up and we’re leaving the employees we’re all standing together and one was grinding and dancing all over another employee like a fool. I made a comment “well that’s professional “ and the employees glared at me and one made a very rude curse at me. We will most definitely be taking our business elsewhere. We were ignored while employees stood around having a dance party.

I’d give this place zero stars if I could. It is disgusting the conditions that the puppies’ pens are in when the mall isn’t busy and the store is short staffed. Feces isn’t cleaned up at all so the puppies are sleeping, playing, and eating next to piles of it. The waste that does manage to fall through the holes just sits there for hours. No one cares about the conditions of the dog pens. It’s awful and disgusting that the puppies have to live in these conditions.

My family and I recently purchased a standard poodle from this petland location. This puppy is our first one and everyone was excited for us. The manager Zach was very informative and has been a big help in getting us started. He is very knowledgeable about the dogs needs and the training process. Getting our new family member from this location was the right idea. I have been back in the store a couple times to ask questions amd Zach always had the time to answer them. He has been a life saver. I will continue to use this store for everything for my puppy. Keep up the good work!

Petland seems like an amazing place to find a puppy. But you need to beware of somethings before purchasing one of these overpriced dogs. I recently got a dog from this location and I thought everything was great. They show you wonderful pictures and make you believe you're buying top dogs. The reality is these dogs are from puppy mills. These dogs are not taken care of properly and it will cost you hundreds more to fix the problems. After purchasing my dog from petland I took her to my vet. My vet informed me she's had many petland puppies come thru her doors, and they all have one thing in common. They have all tested positive for giardia. This disease is treatable but will cost you hundreds to cure. It can also be spread to humans. So before getting a cute adorable puppy from this place make sure you want everything that the puppy comes with. It was not a task I would have knowingly taken.
