This review is WAY overdue but so deserved.Dealing with Black Box Cages has been one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had when making a big purchase. These cages aren’t cheap but they are FANTASTIC quality and the owners answer any question or concerns you may have directly. As everyone knows, there’s a lot of conflicting information in the reptile world. I, personally, dealt with a lot of decision fatigue. I still am, to be honest. But Black Box Cages made this process so smooth and easy for me that it really took away a lot of my stress. I even spoke with them on the phone for a good 30 minutes trying to figure out the best option for me. They also offer Shop Pay if you want to do monthly installments instead which was awesome for me cause I needed my cage quickly but couldn’t afford a huge payment at the time. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. They will not disappoint. Check them out!

As my young ball python had been rapidly growing out of her initial cage, I wanted to make sure I got a quality enclosure to last her into adulthood. I wound up choosing Blackbox and after a few months in I can safely say it’s been a great upgrade! My pet has plenty of room to move around, and I’m slowly but surely making additions to the environment. I did have few questions regarding setup and maintaining certain aspects of it to make for a safe environment for my snake and I must say that their customer service is absolutely incredible! I received prompt and insightful answers to the questions that came up as I got my snake properly situated to the new environment. Fantastic purchase!

I am over the moon with my purchase and the level of service provided. The enclosure (I ordered a T4) was secured well during shipping and simple to put together. BlackBox went above and beyond from the moment I ordered to make sure I was happy with my purchase. These cages are well made and BlackBox came to the rescue after we had placed an order with a different company who kept us waiting for over 9 months with no finished product. We got our BlackBox cages in 3 weeks and the new set up helped keep our large snake from escaping, which was a frequent occurrence with our old set up.However! The only problem we have is the fact that the heating element is plugged in on the inside. Two of our snakes have figured out how to unplug it and it is a huge annoyance trying to put it back because of where the plug is (in the very back of the cage) especially when one unplugs it almost daily. We have tried several things to make it harder to unplug but our retic is just too smart... I guess she prefers being an icicle.I'm not sure if the cages have been redesigned in the last two years to change this, but that is our only complaint with the cages we purchased. Everything else is good. We have recommended them to others but warn about the possibility of their snakes finding this loophole (figuratively and literally).

Super responsive as soon as I made my purchase--they in fact reached out to me about 15 min after I placed my order to double check on a mistake I had made and fix a shipping issue! The enclosure is gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for for my little dude, I will definitely be coming back next time one of the guys needs an enclosure update!

Terrariums are high quality to give your setup the modern and crisp look your looking for. I’ve always wanted my enclosures to high everything from bulbs to wiring to where it seemed like a true piece of furniture in your home. Black box has done this for me and it looks great. Assembly was a breeze for both enclosures and now my reptiles are happy. I will only go black box going forward as new additions are added.

I recommend if your in the market for Solid quality service, Excellent customer service , space saving , Clean looking racks and an awesome Logo to match then this is your company for PVC style racks. After watching a YouTube video of the XR16 -Hatchling/Juvenile. I decided to order through the website and it was easy enough to navigate and to process thanks to the sales rep on the chat line. Big thanks to you! The XR16 Hatchling/Juvenile is an excellent rack for hold a number of reptiles from 16 large tubs to 32 of the medium or to a whooping 48 hatchling sized tub. This rack style has saved me so much space because of it's function to hold different size tubs from the Vision short line tubs as well as the Freedom breeder 5 and 8's tubs. The ability to switch the tubs to fit your needs is a Huge welcome to the reptile community. 10 out of 10. I will shop again!

Great customer service! I drove to pickup my XR16 rack. Communication was excellent and they were very flexible with scheduling the pickup. The rack is running temperatures great(on all levels). I will definitely be getting more racks from them when the time comes. Time to fill up this one. A++

This is my second experience with Blackbox and they were amazing as usual. I now have a 6x2x2 along with a 4x2x2 from this company and both products are of excellent quality. The best part about their company isn’t just their products, but their customer service. Jennifer went above and beyond to help me not only decide which enclosure and lighting would be right for my animal, but she was also quick to fix a broken light damaged by UPS.I will be ordering from only them in the future and I’ll be recommending them to others as well.Thanks for everything!

I am beyond impressed with the customer service, the turnaround time, and the quality of the enclosures of Blackbox.I ordered three large enclosures at the start of February and they arrived, fully assembled and routed, later that very month. There aren’t any dents or scratches on the pvc, the pvc is sturdy, and the tanks came with all the hardware I needed to install my light fixtures. Customer service was quick to respond, friendly, and went above and beyond for me (thanks, Jen! You’re great!); although enclosures at the size I wanted were not usually available to be shipped fully assembled, Blackbox offered anyways in order to make up for an error in the shipping cost that the website gave me, and they checked in before sending my order to make sure they didn’t miss anything.The tanks I ordered will be amazing forever homes for my snakes. Even though I won’t need anymore enclosures, I will probably continue to shop from Blackbox for accessories. They’ve earned a lifelong customer.

I am so glad that I found BlackBox Reptile Cages and Rack Systems. Their enclosures are stunning and their customer service was absolutely flawless! They are very knowledgeable and helped me with my many questions (this was my first reptile enclosure purchase ever). The enclosure came fully assembled which made it so easy for me, I just simply opened the box! Oh and their lead times are outstanding as well, sooo much faster than other companies I had been looking at. So awesome, and greatly appreciated!The product was packaged very well. And the product itself is made perfectly and looks great. This company is just amazing. First where do I start, if I could give 100 stars it would be that.It was a Friday night at 6 pm ish and one of the boxes I purchased from a reptile supplier they sell to told me it would be okay for my bearded dragon. However it didn't have a basking lamp cut out on the lid of the box. It was really affecting the way my bearded dragon was acting and her ability to have energy. I called the BlackBox Cage Company and they cut and built a new top for me on the spot. They apologized for the supplier I purchased the box from for selling that particular box to me. These people go way above and beyond to help satisfy and truly care for my animal. I cannot express my gratitude nor my appreciation for such amazing customer service. They know how to please and help people. They are the most genuine people I have encountered. Had spent quite a bit of time trying to find a pvc enclosure... And very glad I made the decision to try Blackbox . The lead times weren't insane and I felt pricing was very reasonable. Shipping was fast and although their was a small hiccup with the order their customer service was phenomenal and the issue was rectified quickly. I always wanted to move my reptile collection to PVC enclosures, but wanted to make sure I was picking the right manufacturer. I did a lot of in-person shopping at reptile shows and felt like most enclosure makers used the same materials and fabrication until I looked at BlackBox. I never thought reptile care could be this easy! I set the thermostats and it does all the work. The living room used to be so hot but with this cage you can’t feel the heat at all! I have to check even more often than I did before because it also blocks the smell way better than my last enclosure did. Customer service was great! They followed up to make sure everything was going well and working.

I bought the v70 6 stack and the quality and construction are top notch . And the customer service is great !!
