I love this store. I bought a bird feeder for my Dad 10 years ago from Bird Watcher and it's still in good shape. I went today and got a new one for my Dad that is squirrel proof. Jay is always so nice to talk to, very knowledgeable, and I always leave with exactly the right thing. This is a great place for gifts that are unique and well made.

I love this place. Have been going there for years for seed and birdhouse supplies. Their quality is the best. Plus, they have gradually added the coolest gifts and funky artsy items. The staff is always super friendly and informative. My kids love it, too. My daughter even got to release a hummingbird at one of their outdoor banding events. I would recommend them to anyone.

The owner here was very nice and helpful. He spent at least half an hour with me as I was trying to purchase a gift for my Mother-in-law. I did not realize how intense bird watching and feeding can get. If you are a bird lover you need to check this place out!

Great place to buy bird feeding supplies. There is a difference between the cheaper grades of bird seed & what Bird Watcher Supply Co provides. My wife enjoys looking at their wide range of gift items. We have bought many Christmas & unique birthday items from them.

Everything you can think of for birds, and some things you didn't know existed! We went looking for a nice bird bath for our yard and they had several styles to choose from and were very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions.

I have an elementary school aged daughter that became interested in birds 2 years ago. The Bird Watcher Store has been helpful and patient in recommending products and is a knowledgeable resource for information. It's great to have an actual person for her to talk to when she has questions. The store also has amazing events for kids and adults. She'll never forget watching hummingbirds be released last year.

I had stopped feeding birds for a few years, so my feeder needed to be replaced. The people who work here know their birds (and squirrels!). You'd have to spend hours on Amazon reviews to get access to the knowledge they can share in just 20 minutes!

I recently realized that this store was here and have been meaning to stop by. Turned out that I had a little time Friday afternoon, so I swung by.First thing I noticed when I pulled up was a big pickup truck in the parking lot that was taking up two spots, so I found another spot to park in. Of course, nothing that the proprietor could control there, but that was the first thing on my visit that caught my attention.I noticed that there was a sandwich-board sign on the sidewalk out front which said, among other things, that the store was still wanting patrons to wear masks when shopping. No problem. I dislike wearing a mask like most people, but don't want to inadvertently have been an asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic carrier and get someone sick, so a small annoyance.I came in, was greeted by the guy behind the counter and noticed one other customer inside and he was not wearing a mask. Sigh. And this other customer was roaming the store, grabbing more and more items and discussing aloud all of his selections during his strolling around. Trying to steer clear of him, I took the long route to the feed I needed, figuring that I'd linger in this new-to-me store another day.I waited a while, hoping that the maskless customer would have offered up, ”Hey, I'll be a bit, why don't you go ahead of me?”, but reflecting on how his behavior impacted others (at least the two others in the store with him and people trying to park) didn't seem to be in his repertoire. I didn't want to hang out at the counter since this maskless customer kept boomeranging back there to set down his growing number of purchases, so I stayed off to the non-maskless-guy side of the store and kept trying to make eye contact with the proprietor, hoping he'd wave me over and tell the other guy that he'd ring me up.Eventually, that very thing happened (for which I thanked him) and he asked if I was in their system. I replied that I didn't think so and asked him what he needed from me. In a non-sequitur response, he announced the total price of my purchase. Uh, okay. I guess, in retrospect, I didn't want to linger any more than I needed, so maybe his having missed/misunderstood my reply was all for the best.I may return one day to see if the maskless customer finally left. And ask again what I need to do to get into their system. :/

Any one in the Buford area needing any bird feeders or seed should buy it here. I purchase a squirrel proof bird feeder several years ago, the plexiglass cracked and I called the store this morning. Spoke to Jay , he said bring it in and he would replace it for me. Not only did he replace the plexiglass he replaced several other parts inside the feeder for me. There was No Charge. A great place to do business. I will be a customer there forever. Thanks Jay. Bob Kenney

I love this store and the associates are very knowledgeable and helpful. Here you can find more unusual bird supplies, a huge food supply and all kinds of knick knacks.The biggest drawback though are some of the prices are just way too high. And although I do understand that this is a small, local store, which I generally support, being +100% above what large suppliers charge can leave you with a knot in your stomach; e.g. the plastic squirrel dome was $25, but at HD it's $12. Same dome. And my cedar blue bird nesting box, was $10 at WMT, and I paid $45.I truly hope they can find a way to be more competitive, because it's quite a lovely store.
