This is a hole in the wall dive restaurant, but the food...omg!! It was some of the best eating EVER!! Can't wait to go back.Edit: went back today 1/18/24 and had the hamburger steak...you guys!! It was so dang good, kind of sad about not getting the fried green tomatoes, but y'all made up with it when I ordered the additional side of black eyed peas.Not only did you guys "PUT YOUR FOOT IN THAT FOOD" you also tapped danced right into my soul with some good home cooking, ya'll have some of the friendliest staff over there and look forward to being able to come back again. ❤️Maybe next time I'll order breakfast!!

Holy cow, it was not what I expected. They far exceeded any expectations. The food was incredible. The building wasn't marked, barely recognized. But it is the absolute best that I have had in years. Don't judge a book by its cover. This is my new "go to" place when I pass thru. The only problem was the volume of the TV but with food like this, it doesn't really matter about the volume

If you want some cooking that's going to bring you back to your mama's kitchen then go to Annie D's they have that good old home cooking that southern food with prices that won't break your wallet Then Annie D's is the place to goThey're serving all types of food served all the time My favorite is breakfast served all day The lady that's working I'm not sure if it's the owner or not but she is always sweet as pie and don't let me forget they have to die for pies and cakes and A display that make you definitely indulge in some sweet tooth cravings there's no way you're going to walk away from that counter without buying one that's for sure 😁💯

Although I had a horrible experience with the dinner food I would say that the service overall is excellent.After leaving my first review I was responded to by the owner who not only apologized for the imperfections of my meal but refunded me. She was very kind and caring and assured me that her business is not run in this horrible matter. Thank you Mrs D for the correction as well as the apology.

This place doesn't look like much but do not let that deter you. The food here is great but the fried chicken is incredible. If they franchised the fried chicken, they'd make a fortune. It's that good. The breakfast biscuit sandwiches are great and the cake is awesome too.

Best fried chicken and meat loaf! This place is very decently priced plus taste amazing! I have fried chicken with cabbage and Mac and cheese and I was not disappointed. My husband had the meatloaf, fried chicken, tots, and Mac and cheese. We could not stop eating! The service is also great and all the workers there are genuine and sweet. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and my family and I will also one day return.

I saw your reviews online and decided to try Annie D's on my trip to Buena Vista. I'll tell you, I don't think I've had such delicious pork chops since my Grandma's! It tasted like home to me. The veggies were seasoned perfectly. The sweet tea was sweet and the staff were friendly and inviting. I will definitely be back!

Had fried chicken with cabbage and fried green tomatoes and it lived up to the advertising wonderfully! ! Fresh and delicious! Many places do fried green tomatoes but few truly do them right. Annie Ds does! Will be back. Great customer service makes it a win-win.

It was a life saver.80 mile day on the bike, hit Annie's at about 55.Expertly done catfish. (I had catfish+tater tots+onion rings. Perfecto.)OK, kidding aside Annie D's is really good.Down to earth atmosphere and service to match. Everybody seems like they are family. Everything home made from scratch.Don't miss it.

Words can't explain or express how much I love this place. Any one who has ever read one of my reviews know I don't lie. I dont care what you order, whether dine in or out your food is always very presentable, freshest ingredients, whole heartedly cooked, and served by a friendly, caring, professional staff. If you are reading this just know you dont need to look any further for celebrity style food at a working mans price. Stop on by and tell em Ike sent ya. Hurry up because this is one busy little diner. Some how the still manage to have your food to you in a timely manner. I would give it 10 stars if I could, thank you Annie D's for blessing our small city with such a big flavor.

Annie D's has been by far my favorite dining experience in Buena Vista. The food is amazing. Each meal is prepared with love. It is always cooked to order and served with a smile. The restroom is always clean. The dining area is always clean. The prices are very reasonable as well.My favorite menu items are: Fried Chicken, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, the deserts and the uptowns.As good as the food is, it does not even begin to compare to the awesome staff Miss Annie has selected to serve her customers. From the first visit until today, Jodi and Pam have taken such good care of me. They call me by name. They are always friendly. They feel like family. I love them. I come there all the way from Atlanta which is a two hour drive.Another thing I love about Annie D's is her commitment to community. The staff come from the local area and no one has had a negative thing to say about working there. I talk about Annie D's all of the time and even ran into a former employee in Columbus who told me her first job was Annie's. At any time, you can expect to see Miss Annie working alongside the staff at the restaurant. That says alot!Thank you Miss Annie and staff.

Very small and easy to miss but these are the places that pack a big punch. Home cooked food all the way and good service. Don't let the location or the look fool you. The meals and desserts are a must have when passing through Buena Vista.

Rating the food is definitely a 5 star! Been eating here for years but in the last few months the service has been very rude. I hate to say that I probably wont go here again because I love our small town restaurants, but I cannot deal with people who are so rude to their customers. Annie D....please get a new staff!

OMG! Listed as in the top 100 soul food places in Georgia! I had batter fried catfish filets, that batter was so tasty! The collard greens and yams we're SO flavorful! If you're ever in Buena Vista, THIS is a must stop!
