Bought 100 rosy red minnows, needless to say after my trip from this store then home, the 100 minnows put into 1 bag together, almost all died. All but 2. My husband asked me to pick these up for him, and I should of went with my instincts that umm wait , they're all in one bag? But when the cashier rang my ridiculously small bag of way too many fish in with my best friend's dog treats that was in front of me, and we didn't realize till she'd already swiped her card and paid for it, I'll admit I was more worried about paying her back for the 20$ worth of wish she unknowingly paid for. So that thought left my mind, till I got to my car and seen they were all pretty much dead. Husbands 1st question is how?, then wait they're all in 1 bag? Why would they do that? That's not enough oxygen!! But yeah, that's my experience, won't be back, and extremely angry over these unnecessary deaths when the employees should be more knowledgeable.

Took my dog here for her first grooming and paid for a full cut. Told them exactly what I wanted done and none of it was done. I even pre paid for it. Needless to say I am very unsatisfied with their service. So as soon as I got home I cut her down like I wanted to begin with. And only because I have to return tomorrow for her final shots. I do not recommend this service . The first shots are of her when I got her from them the last two are after I cut her myself. Was a real waste of money..

How could you not love PetSmart?!? I've visited in different states, and they're all good. This one in Brunswick has an association with a non-profit organization to find furever homes for cats and while it's hard to see them and not take them home, it's comforting to know they will get great homes. PetSmart is great to share this space and having a friendly and warm environment.

Went in a few times on Tuesday and when I checked out, I ask to receive the 10% discount and was denied by the cashier who said that it was for the military. I told her that I’d check to make sure that it was still given before I dropped my dog off and again she said, No! After thinking about this recurring incident I called on this (Wednesday) morning and spoke to the Manager on duty and was told it was the grooming department’s responsibility to put the 10% discount on the checkout paper because the cashier doesn’t know (PETSMART) about it! She also said that she would tell the grooming manager to remind the new employees to write the discount percentage on the checkout paper. I’ve been going there for over 10 years and the groomers have never put the 10% on the papers because the (PETSMART EMPLOYEE) cashier was aware of the discounts given. Petsmart needs to stop passing the buck and own up to the training oversight of the new hires!

Good store and good selection. Ok, price, but they will price match their own online prices, which is nice. Store has been clean and tidy every time I've been. Wish they were more consistent when they have live animals, but due to breeding times, i dont hold it against them.

Pets always look stressed, got a pet here that died shortly after bring her home. Some employees are to scared to take care or handle the animals. Always have to look for help no one comes to you.

I took my 2 dogs to get haircuts one dog had a great haircut, the other dog Got a terrible haircut. 2 different Groomers gave them haircuts There should have been some consistency.

Hardly ever have Algae eaters but they do have fish that I love. I don’t care for the workers at the Brunswick location. They seem to get irritated when you ask me them about fish, as if they hate catching them or something. She was saying they don’t live but a week..Girl stop it! I hate when someone does that..just don’t come to work! Btw..my algae eater died by the time I got home. I give up on that location.

Booked an appointment for my cat to get a bath and de-shed. Dropped her off...my sister picked her up for me because I had to work. When I got home from work she looks like she did when she left. The ONLY thing that was noticeable was her nails were trimmed. Her hair was still falling out just by rubbing my hand across her. Clumps of it. Theres absolutely NO WAY they bathed her with de-shed shampoo and brushed her out. I filled up 6 brushes full of hair the same night that she supposedly got groomed. If you ever choose to go through petsmart for getting your cat groomed I suggest staying and watching to make sure they actually do it. I literally just threw 80 dollars away on absolutely nothing.

The employees are incredibly hard working, polite and kind, and extremely patient!!!! The groomers I have had the most one on one with. They are truly amazing and work so hard it makes you think why you aren't as dedicated to your own job as they are!!!! The one downside I must admit..... the groomers are exceptionally busy. So they can take 3-4 hours for a small dog. But don't let that deter you!!!! The groomers are insanely busy but genuinely care about every single animal in their care!!!!! They honestly take their time to make sure your animal comes home as perfectly groomed as humanly possible!!!! They actually care. And in my opinion, when someone is taking care of my sweet bestie, those are the qualities I want, look for and stick with when I find!!!!!

Absolute worst customer service. We were looking to purchase a hamster for our daughter, waited more than 10 minutes by the cages with no one to be found to help us. When we can finally track someone down, she comes to ask us if we were looking at hamsters and we say yes, then proceeds to say “well we close at 7. Sorry. They’ll be here tomorrow” like why even ask in the first place if we were looking at an animal? There was no announcement over head. She didn’t start with “just to let you know we close at 7pm….” So we start walking out, and I asked the man at the door, opening up the doors for us, and I asked him if I had something to buy would I have been able to purchase it, and he said “yes”. And I said even if it was a live animal? And he says “yes”, so I ask well we were wanting to purchase a hamster, and he said “yeah, we’re closed” and I’m thinking- did i not just ask you if I still would’ve been able to purchase right now?! Nothing says you care for your customers like giving no closing notice, closing the doors with them inside and then refusing to let them purchase what they went there for.

Check their website to compare prices - if you see the in-store item on their site at a lower price, they will be happy to match that price. Generally good and their people know a decent amount about animals.

Took my jack Russell long hair in for cut down to standard jack Russell length, nail clip,shampoo.WORST JOB I EVER SAW.Coat was cut all uneven, face was not even cut,nails were trimmed with guillotine clipperand edges were left sharp, shampoo doesn't look like it was not evene will neverTake my dog there again

The people who work here are the real MVPs. They answer every question I have. I need a fishtank, they walk me around showing me the best ones. My fish has never been happier. I adopt a cat, they help me pick out food and toys. Cat loves it. Fish doesn't love the cat but that's unrelated. 10/10.

Have been to this loaction many times to get someone to groom my dog and always get told a different story on why they can get my dog in for appt.. we have called to make an appt and was told can't get in cause lady was going on vacation this last time.. I have found a private groomer and it was cheaper and better job!!

I purchased a Christmas outfit with lights for my dog & when I got home, realized the battery was dead. I took it back & the manager figured out how to replace the battery & fixed it for me. I was happy because they didn't have any more in my dogs size. Great Customer Service!

I have mixed feelings about our local PetSmart. I had called for questions regarding my sweet pit puppies recently and the lady was beyond rude and didn't seem to care nor did she try to help or find the right person to help which was very disappointing. On a positive note, I will say the app is amazing and there are a lot of great deals for my sweet baby girls and pickup at our local store was great! Literally as soon as I pulled in they were bringing it out to me and were very friendly! So for now I'm going to give them another try:)UPDATE‼️Went into the store to buy/make ID tags for my pups right before Christmas with our youngest who is fully autistic and while I was making them (by the front door), a woman came out from a side room, walked by us without saying anything except she started raising her voice at my 6 year old son to stop touching the door! He was fascinated by the automatic door and was not even touching the glass - he was investigating how it was doing the motion. I was beyond upset as boys are naturally curious but she also was so rude and unprofessional...whether he had special needs or not that was 100 percent uncalled for. Needless to say, I will stick to online purchases moving forward. Curious if it was the same lady who answered the phone that day...not impressed.
