An eclectic sleek designed sub-shop. We were in and out quickly!!! Our subs were loaded down and excellent!!! Being from out of town, I got a tip from a fellow traveler. This was a good find. Subs were both loaded down with meat ,the bread was super fresh!!! Prices were right in line with everyone else !!! No complaints from me,I will be back next time when passing through!!!!

If you're looking for a NY Style sub, Larry's Giant Subs is not the place you're looking for. The subs are ok but they're a Giant disappointment. Like most sub and pizza places down south they promote NY style but they're far from it. NY style is big and sloppy this is far from it except for the price. I'd say these subs are a little better than subway but with the NY price.

Society has a humongous obessesion with Giant things. New York Giants….People with Giant Body Parts….Giant Supermarkets…Andre the Giant…and even Giant Submarines. Not just the ones with seamen aboard (haha “seamen” I’m 12 lol) but I’m talking about an oversized sandwich we enjoy on the earths surface. The Giant sign on the highway was the reason I came across Larry’s Giant Subs so even I…am a Giant sucker…Warm was the day as I parked a parking lot away. I knew that this sandwich may put 3-5lbs on me and needed all the cardio I could get. The store itself doesn’t have much curb appeal but I’m pretty sure it does not and will not matter once I’m feasting. The interior reminded me of an outdated but charming New York deli where the focus was not on the decor nor the hospitality but on being thankful for what you are about to receive Amen! While I placed my order I noticed the phone ringing and ringing but oddly none of the staff paid any attention to it. They either receive a lot of spam calls or they’re just so popular that a customer will wait until the 17th ring to order one of the beast sammys. Speaking of Beasts…after ordering my Italian Sub with the works I turned around to see a MASSIVE King Kong like figure protruding from the back wall. Something you need to see to truly believe. (Photo Included).Everything about Larry’s felt like a time warp back to 20 years ago but not necessarily in a bad way. It’s like when you walk in everything preemptively lets you know that the food is so epic that you’ll forget about the rest of the experience….and well…they’re kinda right. I unwrapped the fire log shaped sub sandwich which can also double as a weapon and the first bite sent juices flying in 3 different directions. Perfection! The Bodacious bread…magnificent meats…the vibrant veggies…the sloppy sauces…I mean…I literally became that King Kong figure. I ravished the Sub and felt like an obese careless freak while doing so. And…everybody should feel like that…if only for a moment. It takes courage to allow yourself to be vulnerable enough to eat like the true ANIMAL we really are. Well, we were on our way home and there was an accident in front of the location that day , we walked in and the lobby was cleaned no one was in the restaurant I ordered the inferno it was delicious my hubby ordered a Philly cheese steak sub.The black male acted as if we were bothering him. Ok I enjoyed the food we also ordered a side salad. Not much in it . What he fixed prices were above normal .No chips with our sandwich.. but a group of girls came in and they were all smiles happy.. could not shut them both up. He left the broom and stuff we swept up in the middle of the floor. Smh loved the back drop. Overall, I would eat there again! No trays out food was packed to go!!

Sandwiches are pretty good, tables are sticky, salt and pepper shakers look like they haven’t been washed in 60 years. Plastic info cards are covered in crumbs and grease, as well as the napkin dispensers. Employees look like they would rather be stuck in traffic than work here. Not a smile in sight. Monkey is the only thing I really came to see.

Great find off of the interstate and a welcomed change from all the fast food chains that dominate each exit. The place was packed but it took no time to order and get out food to go. The bread was great!

Great stop on our trip. I would put this sub shop at the top of my list because of the quality of the meats and cheeses. Food is always fresh and comes out just like we ordered. Love the hot subs!Super friendly and professional staff during our visits and very clean. Really fun King Kong on the wall is neat for kids and photos.You should give this place a try if you are on a road trip too!

LET ME START BY SAYING I WAS A BIG CUSTOMER OF LARRY’S GIANT SUBS ON NEW JESUP HWY UNTIL ME AND MY FAMILY’S LAST VISIT…WE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS EVER SINCE RICHARD OWN THE PLACE…WELL AS WE WERE PULLING UP WE SAW 2 FEMALE EMPLOYEES ON THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING DRINKING ALCOHOL STRAIGHT OUT THE BOTTLE..THIS IS A VERY BAD LOOK FOR THE RESTAURANT AND THE NEW OWNER OR OWNERS..I HOPE YALL CAN GET IT SITUATED BECAUSE YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE LOYAL CUSTOMERS IF YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE DRINKING ON THE JOB…

This is the best Larry's Giant Subs. We went there right after they opened on July 23rd to get our annual food fill up for our ride back home from Jekyll Island. Ordered 9 large subs and every one was made with love and care. The staff were all awesome, friendly and REAL sandwich artists. Thank you so much Larry's crew. You rock! The store is always clean for those dining in.

First time here today (Sept 10 2023)...move over Subway!I had a Greek salad which was excellent and huge.. My gf had the Animal sub which was also very good.Nice employees and a very clean place here... I recommend this establishment.

Well, this is the second time we tried to get a hot Pastrami on rye (not Toasted) and the nice cashier even went to the line and explained to the folks, well, toasted rye again, so we ordered a "Chicago Hot Dog" what a mistake, 1st it came on a sub roll not a Rosen's Poppy Seed steamed bun, 2nd it had some kind of Piccadilly not Neon Green Relish, 3rd no sport peppers, etc. I can go on about the 20 minute wait just to receive garbage, but really folks if your going to advertise a special food item, why don't you at least try to get it close.
