Awesome rental place!!! We took an impromptu trip to Jekyll Island for the first time and decided day of to rent a cart for the weekend. I called a few other places that were rude and booked and landed here. Wish I would have called here first!!! So nice and accommodating, we had the cart for a Friday and Saturday, well they are closed on Sundays so we got to have it that morning before leaving because they pick up on Monday. I did have issues on my end with getting the rental agreement but they delivered the cart anyways. I can successfully say I will be renting from them again on our next trip!!!

Purchased a gas cart while on vacay in Georgia! Happened to stop there after going to another cart dealer in the same area. Tim was wonderful to deal with and our transaction took less than 10 Minutes!The cart was delivered to the campground we were staying at within 10 minutes of us arriving back at the spot. We took it for a ride and noticed a headlight bulb was out.Even though they were closed Tim the owner stopped by the campground with a new one! Talk about service!! Outstanding service & sales value. Purchased a new ICON I4 last weekend. We love the cart !Took the dog for a ride and let 'er rip. Over 25MPH out of the box. Darn dog wants to go for rides and go fast ALL THE TIME & will sit for hours waiting for a ride.Thank you Golden Coast Golf Carts!!

We bought our golf cart at Golden Coast and had a very good experience buying it and having it delivered to our home. The owner is very knowledgeable about all the carts and was very helpful to us in deciding which to purchase - gas or electric. Because of our location on Jekyll Island we wanted to be able to get around the whole island without refueling or recharging so gasoline was the way to go for us. We are very happy with our purchase.

Visited this location to get some insight on what kind of golf cart to purchase. The guy we talked with, although very nice, wasn’t very helpful, and seemed to be blowing us off a little. We also were told twice by him that two different golf carts were probably out of our price range. Side note: (Your girl was looking a little rough today, it’s been a rough few days but that’s not the point). We never said our price range and didn’t have one for the right golf cart. But after those comments, you won’t be getting any of my business…… a reply to your comment below. That is absolutely false. We came in there asking for advice on what to get. We told you all we have done is searched on Facebook market place at the older carts on there, and we were open to new. We just wanted insight on what kind make/model, gas/electric. We didn’t know where to start. We didn’t need financial assistance, we were paying in cash and we just wanted advice from a professional. You’re very quick to say something is false but it also quite apparent you weren’t even listening to us in the first place. To your credit you did tell us not to get the RXV model and that we could send you pictures of another cart from anyone and you would let us know your honest review.

I heard that this place was great, especially service. I have a newer Club Car Onward and the back seat broke, which is fairly easy being its all plastic molded. Anyways I called up there, spoke with a lady and she said it was covered under warranty. I then sent her photos of the broken parts, the seat and she said she submitted it to warranty. I waited for a follow up call, nothing.. I then called her to see how it was going, she said that it usually takes a couple of weeks and she'd call me.. two and a half weeks go by, nothing.. I then called her and she seemed aggravated I was following up and said these things take time. Well long story short, it's been two more months and still no follow up. Follow up is key and one of the most important parts of running a business.I'll pay for a new seat, which I intended to do, until I was told it was a warranty item by her.I already ordered a seat for it, so no need to reach out. Thanks anyways..

Excellent, professional service and no pressure sales tactics! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We had a single cart accident with our lovely new cart not long after we bought it (a tree jumped behind me while I was in reverse). I was heartbroken because it was only a week before I was expecting family for Easter and I wanted to introduce them to our new cart! Tim, Angie and the crew got it repaired and back to us in record time when I explained the situation (through my tears). Would not go anywhere else in the Golden Isles for sales and service! Can’t recommend them highly enough and would give ten stars if I could!

This is a great place for renting golf carts if you're staying on St Simons Island. The staff was friendly and dropped off the golf cart quickly. I will definitely being using them again next time I'm on St Simons. Great experience!

Golden Coast has some of the best customer service out there. My experience was not perfect but at each “slip up” they were accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and enjoyed our time on Jekyll. Should we visit again we’ll definitely rent from GC!Also - I forget his name - but their delivery driver is just a flat out good man. Very courteous, easy going, and you can tell very little could bring him down!Thanks for the carts!Ben

I met the owner, Tim Clapp, 2 months ago after looking everywhere for a axle bolt. Although I did not buy the cart from him, he went out of his way to help me, opening a lift kit package and GAVE me the bolt. Last week the other bolt broke and he did it again! He was so sincere and helpful you would have thought I had bought a fleet of carts from him before. Outstanding customer service and a really great guy. I highly recommend this business.

So after looking for a full day for a 6 seater golf cart we found this great company run by Mr Tim Clapp and family. My children were entertained by Mr Tim's dog which made the process even easier. He worked with us with price and had the best pricing in town and had the Cart delivered by that evening. We will be contacting them for service when need be and can't believe the great service the provided during the process.

Great customer service. We rented a gold cart from here and had a blast! Delivery and pick up was very easy. Had the option of paying over the phone with a credit card or sending a check back with the delivery guy. The cart was in great shape and made our vacation so much fun!
