Ken’s IGA has got it going on! Parking is limited during peak hours is the only downside to this location. They sell Gas witch is a bonus. Their meat is always fresh and affordable. The owners are great people.

If you buy meats here beware if you do not use that meat the same day. I have on a couple occasions had the meat be spoiled on the second day. The other products that do not rely on what seems to be inexperienced meat cutters needs some attention. The repacking of meat with cling wrap o er the original label should be a warning for anyone.

Close and convenient BUT afternoon, evenings and weekends are run by teenagers and college students that have horrible attitudes, have no desire to help in any way, could care less how long the line is, and no desire to work fast or even work at all. That is why their parking is full every afternoon, evening and weekend, because everyone is held up inside. Sometimes the line backs up past the freezer section. The employees care more about talking to each other than running the cash register. When there is a conflict between employees the entire store knows about it. I've witness a snarky, back biting going on between 2 cashiers right in front of my eyes. This place would be excellent if they had better employees!!!!!!

I'm tickled silly. Such a quaint little food mart. I found all the little things I needed. Such a wide selection of this and that. I'm speechless. It really is better than the hustle and bustle of 𝙒𝙖𝙡✰𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙩®

Yesterday 4/5/2024 I stopped at the store in Brooklet, Ga. I purchased a cabbage, when I got home it had mole in side the leave or black spots, I tried to cook it after rinsing it off it took over 40 minutes to try and cook the shredded cabbage. Horrible taste. We could not eat it. I tried to call back several times and was told there was no one for me to talk to, so today 4/5/2024 I called again and was told the same thing. What are we buying. Because thisj was surley not a cabbage. I will return it tomorrow for a refund

Store was full, clean and well merchandise. Meat department looked better than any chain store. Ken's 3 retail supermarket operations are all well run and provides their communities with a locally owned supermarket they should be proud to have.

I come from out of town just to purchase meat at Ken's. They have the best hamburger and ground chuck anywhere. I found two-packs of thick cut porchops for around 2.50! That is cheaper than a fast food burger!

Kens has always been great! Some items I feel are a bit over priced, but all in all its a great store. Clean and well stocked! It's easily accessible to surrounding communities, and is a full line grocery store. Their meat is VERY good, and prices always good!

Clean, great prices, real fresh meat, cashiers friendly. If you don't see a cut of meat you want, just ask and they will cut what you want. Think about how thick you want that steak and tell them.

I shop here 3-4 times a week.It's a really good local convenience store for when you don't want to go to town.The butcher section is fantastic and my first go-to for meat even if I am going into Statesboro.Staff are helpful and friendly, although not always diligent about dates on perishables so be sure to check.Oh, and it's always cold no matter the time of year.

I've shopped at IGA for awhile now, and I believe the cashiers are the most consistently rude that I've seen at any store. Tonight, the cashier gave more energy and enthusiasm to making fun of someone's receding hairline with another cashier than to acknowledging me, a human, in front of her. On the occassions when an employee is nice to me, it is shocking due to its rarity. It is obvious, particularly with the high school age employees, that they are not trained or held accountable to any kind of standard for customer service or general human decency. I may start driving twice as far for groceries just to avoid this store.

My family and I brought mostly meats that was freshly sliced. She came from out of the place where she cut the meat and greeted us. She remembered my uncle from his last visit to IGA. The whole staff was very warm and courteous.

Great prices on meat as well as other items. I drive about 15 extra miles just to buy their ground Chuck. It's usually $.50 a pound less than Ellis meats. Not to knock Ellis, I like them just as well. The distance is the trade off. Walmart meat is not to good I'm home. 😊🇱🇷 DB

Idk what happened to the adults but this store is full of kids running the show who have little direction and often are talking about disgusting inappropriate stuff at the register....

Poor selection. Had practically none of the items I wanted. Staff were pretty much comatose and unhelpful. Older run down interior. Very pleasant cashier was the good thing. Won’t be going back.

I enjoyed shopping at Ken's IGA. The employee s are helpful and nice. There is only one thing that seem to be not known of because I keep hearing people say the produce is keap to cold and freezes some of the vegetables? As for the most part. They have a well stocked clean store and glad to have Ken's IGA to shop at.👍

Yeah this place is good for meats and maybe a few other things. Most of the staff is very hard working and they seem to be helpful. Then there are a couple staff members that are rude. But all in all great place for quick grabs.

Very affordable beef and chicken. Other items are sometimes a little more expensive but.... The customer service and prices on meat make up for it. If I had to choose between them and a major corporate chain... Id choose Ken’s IGA everytime

Good meat selection and other grocery items. This place is great for cookout food or Sunday dinner grocery lists!! If what u want is groceries this is the place!! U don't have to walk a quarter of a mile to get your weekly food items!!

Got most of the stuff you would need if you don't feel like heading into Statesboro. However the items are normally much cheaper at Walmart. The meet here is however way better than any other grocery store around and reasonably priced.

We just moved back to Bulloch County (Brooklet) and started buying our groceries at Ken's. After getting gas at Ken's last night our car would not go in gear. It was just before closing so we notified store employees, told them we would have someone there first thing in the morning to get the car and left our contact information. The manager of Ken's decided to pursue a "kick them while they're down policy" and had our car towed after we left. This person showed no compassion or concern for someone in need (not to mention this was one of their customers). Is this how new residents are "welcomed" to the community? We will never do business with Ken's again and I hope others make the same choice.
