I was just discriminated against again. I'm a dark-skinned man. 6 times this month, I've had to have support help me to complete checkout. The 6 separate times, the belt stop for a attended. I watched youtube videos on how Staff & Ai can activate the machine to alert... then act as if they don't know why the machine calls for an attendent for thieves. I just left the store, and the machine stopped 5 times. The girl apologized, and when I told her, I felt discriminated against.. she then under her breath agreed as she's witnessed the 5 times she had to help me just now. I asked for a supervisor: and he tried doing the same thing the YouTube videos claim they do: And that is to claim they don't know why I'm the only one this is happening too. Next time, I will use my cell phone and reference back to this review and the complaint I'm making online and keeping the youtube videos as evidence. Once I come back next time, and they Staff and Ai are discriminating against me again, and the machine go off. Then guess what! I'll have all I need for the much needed lawsuit. And she better not get fired for feeling of her connection with the same pain she see her people and many others going through. Do Kroger realize the pain and confusion they are causing in their workers' eyes? I'll surely be checking on her welfare after this review. Ps: I feel like I was followed the whole time by security. And I'm a true genuine stand-up man, that treat all people with love. But to feel as if im not welcome is a bummer. My little $28 cash spent on salad ingredients may not mean much, but it surely mean everything to me, as I have no choice but to keep pushing forward, and continue this journey of Racism and Hate displayed by people and big companies. I will be taking action asap. Thank you for showing me I'm not welcome to Kroger. One of my favorite grocery stores of all time, I would shop at this Kroger over Publix any day! Great staff, well-organized aisles, and overall pleasant grocery store to visit, day or night.

This is a filthy poor excuse for a grocery store dependent on self checkouts that never function and customer service that really is so overwhelmed it’s inexcusable. 30 minute checkout lines are common .

To ladies at the self check out watches you like a dog they have on a blue and purple turban no kind of customer service skills...if they gonna watch then open up a register so I DNT have to do they job and get watched again on my second visit here.Its thanksgiving a least fake it...the one in the purple turban runs up to the register like i stole a onion but i bet she need her job... store wonderful and clean employees SUCK!!!!

Store closes at 11pm. I was walking in at 11 05pm, public safety officer who don't work for kroger unkindly stated "the store is close Sir". I swore it was 12 yet it's all good but no employees at U scan to confirm. Ive seen the guy a few times prior to with my manners and gestures cool and calm. It's obvious y public safety peoples don't know nothing bout service or just simply passing information. They think they Micheal Jackson (whose bad). Haaaaaa Kroger produce has decreased also in quality badly.

The store is nice. There are plenty of items throughout the store. But, several of the employees are rude individuals who should have better manners and treat the Customers with a little more Respect. Now, there's an alarming number of dangerous homeless people in and around the store, harassing other customers while they're shopping and making it an unsafe place to be. Update your policies on this matter and please Improve .

I came here because they open earlier than a lot of the other grocery stores. They have a pretty extensive selection here that is well stocked. The place is always clean and I never have to wait long to check out.The grocery store is in a strip mall. There is a liquor store in this strip mall and a couple of food spots. The parking lot is huge.I can find a couple deals here each trip. The $5 sushi on Wednesday is pretty nice as well. I love the $5 salmon patties pack. The self check-out is always open and the best way to go. Also found a good deal on deserts.

Decent variety of goods, every once in a while they'll have only half of the self checkouts open. Last time that happened, once they saw how backed up the line was getting they opened one regular lane instead of having that employee supervising the 6 closed self checkouts. Makes no sense to me but maybe that's corporate policy so I only took off 1 star

Worst self check out scanners in Atlanta!I recently used the self check out scanners here and the machine stopped after I scanned 30% of my items saying, "Check Cart" each instance an employee had to come and assist. Don't put self checkout machines in your store if they can't operate properly and create more work for customers and employees.

I always have a horrible experience at this Kroger, but it’s literally the closest one to my house. If it isn’t the customers being rude it’s the staff, every single time. This time I was made to feel like it was a problem that I was paying in all 1’s. I’m not sure what the issue is if all money spends. The only reason I prefer this Kroger over driving out further is because it’s cleaner than the others, has fresher veggies and more varieties of foods that the other store sometimes don’t have.

My mother and I have been discriminated in this Kroger. I was denied medicine at the self checkout because of my nationality. Very unfair and extremely unprofessional! 😡😡😡!!!!

They didn't give me a bag of items purchased. When I called to confirm I left it, no one would pick up the phone. Just rings for eternity, which is no surprise, I suppose, since they seem to be understaffed. Checking out took excessively long.

Normally I don't have any issues here, but I did today. My chip stopped working a few days ago and I've been swiping/using Google pay instead until the new one arrives. The girl at the register tried to swipe it for me and it wasn't working (she was very nice though). She said they could enter the number in for me at customer service. I know this is true because this exact same thing happened to me about a year ago, and they just entered the card number in after checking my ID. The girl at CS was rude and told me they don't do that and she didn't know why they told me they could. I left without buying the item I needed and will be going to publix or aldi from now on instead.

Shari at your customer service desk is amazing. She went far beyond what is expected to help me and my baby. My infant can only have a certain type of formula, and it has been sold out everywhere. Shari (and Melanie/Melody G) special ordered it and kept me updated when it arrived. This took several weeks and several attempts, but they were persistent and ultimately got it for us. This store is insanely busy. Shari is usually juggling multiple things, but she always has a smile on her face and a joyful spirit. She deserves a promotion!

What a treat it is to shop at this Kroger! It is clean as a whistle, the shelves are well stocked, the produce is fresh, and, most importantly, the people who work at this store always welcome us and make us feel like family! This upbeat, friendly atmosphere starts with the manager, James Whitten, who goes out of his way to welcome us every time we shop! He remembers our names, and always greets us with a smile. He circulates throughout the store, making sure the shopping carts are free of debris and lined up perfectly, the produce and festive pumpkins are attractively displayed, and the check out lines are not too long. If the lines get long, he jumps in to help so people don't have to wait. He leads by example and sets the tone for his employees to maintain a store that is consistently clean and inviting, and because of that, we look forward to shopping at Kroger 491 in Brookhaven, Georgia!

Ryan in the pharmacy is truly the rudest person I’ve ever interacted with at any pharmacy. After years of coming here, the entire department seems to have really gone down hill and I’m pleased a new Publix opened down the road because I’ll be transferring all my prescriptions there, as it seems that his presence has made all the other previously pleasant employees’ attitudes change. Every time time I go, he acts completely inconvenienced by any and all customers and raises his voice to bark orders at employees and customers from his seat in front of his computer screen. I can’t understand how his behavior is tolerated by what seems to be a pretty customer-friendly business. There are too many other pharmacy options within a 5 mile radius and enough is enough.

This rating isn't for Kroger but one of the employees. Tom, this elderly guy who works at this Kroger was very kind to my son and he went his way to fix a balloon for him. That made us smile, he didn't need to do that. This isn't the Kroger I shop at as it's not on my way but I will shop here from now on. The world needs more people like him. Thanks Tom.

Wow this place has gone downhill since its renovation a few years ago. What was an upscale Kroger now looks like a third-world grocery store. There are even police camera towers in the parking lot. And the employees are so mean. The aisles are cluttered and look like a yard sale. The place is just so different than it used to be it's almost unbelievable.

The shelf tags don't match the receipt. Kroger brands on some items are as high as the well known brands. I always check the reduced meat and try to go on Wednesdays or Fridays. Don't buy flowers from the Brookhaven Kroger. Publix has better and fresher flowers. I always buy Alstromeria because it has a longer life.

Read the review about the rude Pharmacy personnel. My wife had exactly the same experience with the Deli department. The woman behind the counter was awful! When my wife asked her to slice some cold cuts (because she prefers them thinly sliced) she practically refused and insisted that she buy some of the pre-sliced cold cuts in the refrigerated compartment instead. When my wife insisted - the woman was as rude as can be to her. And this has happened several times with the same Deli worker! I have never heard of anything like this before! I wonder if they have a management problem? We would use another nearby Kroger - but they don't carry Boars Head. So... we are going to use the Publix in Brookhaven from now on - where the staff is always smiling and friendly!

Great store and all but I just got solicited to by a freaking at&t guy - how is this even legal. I don't want to be harassed while shopping this is seriously messed up.
