Below one star. The owner made an appointment for me the following day when I dropped by, only text me 30 minutes later stating "someone with my number had been rude to her in the past so she didn't want my business." No worries I contacted Gentle Paws and she groomed my dog and trimmed the other dogs nails an hour later.

She was pretty expensive. My dog was matted pretty bad with stickers in his hair. I was charged for a blade that was dulled. I was satisfied with the work done.

Always does a great job with my two babies. Takes her time and very patient with one of mine.(one of my dogs can be a handful and a wiggle worm) but she makes my dogs look their absolute best. The price is great over all the best groomer I’ve found

I was told if I couldn’t be there in 30 minutes she was going to leave my dog there. I had to have a friend pay and pick him up. She also completely shaved my dog which I specifically asked her not to do.

Took my Great Pyrenees to them during Christmas season. When I first called they had no openings, but when someone cancelled they took the time to call me and ask me if I wanted the slot. The shop had a slight funny smell, but the staff was really nice and informative despite the busyness of the season. It took about 3 or 4 hours, but when I picked up my puppy he looked white as snow and smelt wonderful. They even trimmed up the areas where he gets matted.For 50$ I felt like they did a good job. I have not been to another groomer therefore I have no frame of reference to compare this experience. I plan on returning in the future, and I would recommend them.

I took my dog at his worst. Bentley has a bad leg, he was covered in fleas, just rough because our family hit a hardship. So when we got back on our feet, that was first thing we did, got him to groomer. They fit him in same day, got every flea tick off of him, he looks absolutely amazing. They truly care about your fur babies.

Issues with the cut of our dog but more surprising was the owner's opinion of how "great" her work was. Was not able to get in a word about the issues but rather listened for 5 minutes about herself and salon. Customerservice was poor at best with the phone call ending in taking our dog off her client list and hanging up on me. Will never recommend this dog salon to anyone!!!! Horrible experience

My Fur babygirl went in for a haircut came out shaved on body was told not to cut ears or tale. Both were cut.Toenails sharp not buffed. It didn't even look like my dog. The price was more than I was told on the phone. Really dislike the cut. I want take her back.She was also cut on her inter leg and cut on her tale. Poor baby has been so miserable.

Wish I could give negative stars. Not only did they completely shave my dog which I asked not to be done considering the type of dog she is (also something you wouldn’t think you have to tell a “dog groomer”) but when I was shocked/ upset I was cussed out by the owner. Could not have been less professional even after HER mess up.

We took our fur baby, Cortana, here for the first time to get her nails done. I was shocked at how calm our baby was while these ladies trimmed and filed her nails. They also have the cutest accessories. I will be back 5/5.

My parents long haired medium size dog needed a bath. I told them exactly what I wanted and she gave me a price. They were amazing and the price was less than quoted because it was less work than they tbought! Super nice!

The price was not what I was told, I wanted my dogs toes nails trimmed- she told my husband that “Oscar didn’t want them done” she said she wound put a bandana around his neck but again “Oscar didn’t wang it” my dog is 2 years old he goes to the groomer often. He will not be back to Tallapoosa, I will be going to Cedartown! And the total was $50.00! And he didn’t even smell good!

The lady told me upon pick up that he had a little mat on his ears but that was it. He now has 2 scabs under his neck and severe burns from the blades that seem to be looking worse day by day. I understand he is going to have a little irritation from being shaved because he only gets shaved once a year but what I don’t understand is how I’m asking for a refund because I cannot even keep my dogs collar on him because of these cuts on his neck, and this woman proceeds to tell me that his ears were matted around the underside of his neck? I’ve had this dog in my family for 10 years and he has never had his ears matt to the underneath of his neck IN 10 YEARS!!!! So tell me why all of a sudden there’s cuts under his neck and now that seems to be why?! Please keep your pets safe and don’t take them to Prissy Paws!!! I will not be back and I feel sorry for the rest of the dogs they have hurt.

Horrible service ...I sch my appt at 8am and on the door and online it says they open at 8am....waited 40 mins and the owner finally answered the phone and said " I sch you at 9am and the door has said that for 15 years"...I just moved to this area this past summer so and this was my 3rd visit and the past appts were at 8am and she was 15 mins late then....very rude ..hung up on me....wouldn't take your fur babies here

Our dogs go there and everytime come back home with cuts on their arms! My dog is hurt currently! Do you think its worth it, I dont and i will strongly suggest my mother take her business elsewhere!
