I wasn't able to use my piggly wiggly coupons that I've used at several other piggly wiggly stores. They were downloaded from the piggly wiggly app. I've been using it for about 2 years at other pw stores. When the cashier asked the manager (a lady) she was extremely rude about it. She acted like I was trying to scam them or something. All around scrappy attitude. Otherwise, the store seemed well stocked. They were a bit high on their produce and meats in comparison to other pw stores.

I love this store although I can’t often shop there every week because I don’t in that area.HOWEVER when I visit my grandchildren for extended periods I wouldn’t even consider shopping anywhere else. They are the most friendly employees I have ever seen in any grocery store. I always tell them when I go in. I wish that the grocery stores in the town I lived in had the kind of customer service and employees that they do at the Piggly Wiggly and Bowden, I love that store. Sometimes the prices may be a little bit higher but they make it up in the items they put on sale. It’s always something that I use frequently whatever’s on sale so my experience with Piggly Wiggly in Bowdon Ga. Is Awesome!

Nice having a grocery store close to home.Been there awhile.Good deli food clean store,nice people,wide variety of food.Best price on anti-freeze anywhere around here.$7.00 a gallon for 100% antifreeze.

Piggy Wiggly isn't the same anymore. They've gone with different warehouses and don't carry the same products on things like Trapleys jalapeño sliced peppers. Other important items that could only be found at the pig! Hardly ever shop there anymore.

Love my local BOWDON piggly wiggly. Let me start by saying thank you all for the customer service and hard work and dedication in having a nice clean place to come to. Keep smiling and keep up the good work.. Thank againOne little complaint.. A. few of the cashiers and baggers really need to learn to talk to there customers and not each other. And when there bagging. Please don't put all my groc mixed up in the bag. CHEMICALS DO NOT GO WITH GROC!!!! EGGS AND BREAD go in bag by themselves or together in a bag and NOTHING ELSE!!!.Everybody has to learn so let's go piggly wiggly. . We love ya and wanta come back again to shop. I have worked in this establishment before so I know what needs to happen when the place is busy. But when there’s people everywhere and you have a manager standing there staring off into space not opening a register not helping it’s ridiculous. And while she’s standing there doing nothing she closes one register down I understand people are trying to get off but ask them to stay late to get you through the rush. And don’t be rude to customers when you’re shutting down a register while completely swamped. I was in there just trying to buy barbecue sauce and was there for 45 minutes. If a secret shopper was to be in there tonight y’all would have failed. And the lady on register two tonight was slower than a slug it took her 25 minutes to ring up a half a buggy. I love this place and know most of the employees very well. Step up your game.

Great selection. Friendly staff. Everything is going up in price. I'm glad I discovered the pig has got the pick 5 for 25 with a large selection to choose from! Clean restroom too!

In a pinch this store will do; however, they are extremely over priced. I got triple the amount of groceries and supplies at Kroger for the same amount of money. Everything is expensive these days, but Piggy Wiggly was just too much.

I would give this store and all-star rating because I just love friendly and people that work there. The only reason I don't is that it's price's and the fact that they don't have everything that a big has. That's also why their prices are higher but I would rather go to the store that's near to where I live and dear to my heart than drive to one of the bigger stores.😄 another thing I would like to add is that when a cashier has more than two or three people in line then the open up another one. It doesn't matter if there's one or five lanes open. And if they see someone who has a lot of groceries or if they think you are struggling with what you have,they will call someone up to help you to your car. They don't stand there expecting a tip either.

I have to say I have been impressed with all the improvents to the pig in Bowdon, Georgia. Lighting has been worked on along with the store layout and items they carry. My wife was a strict Publix believer but I believe she has been converted to the idea a visiting as they have bailed us out multiple times and a lot cleaner and fresh look for the establishment. Everyone has always been very nice and inviting everyone we do pay a visit. Thank you to everyone there.

This is a nice, clean store. Ms. Diane was my cashier and she was very helpful and nice. My fiance and I are new to town and she made us feel welcome.

This store is the only grocery store in several miles in any direction You would like to travel. This town of Bowdon is a small but priceless town. I grew up in this town, and met my high school Sweet heart there. After marriage, we raised 3 wonderful children there as well.( We have since moved to a small town close to Bowdon, but our children have all moved to other states.) With saying all that , Piggly Wiggly has no competition, so their prices are on the high side. But they have a big variety of food. Every week they have a sale, and You can download an app to use digital coupons as well. so if you stick to what is on sale, You can save a good bit on your grocery bill for the week. I do go by the store often, because it is convenient for my location. You can find items that You cannot find in some of the more modern stores. So stop by and see what you think!!

UPDATE! Since there is a new owner the store has made great improvements. Cashiers and baggers greet you and say thank you for shopping now. Prices have gone up since they redid the store, cashiers need to welcome you to the store as you walk in and thank you for shopping with them. Need to fix their freezer section because alot of the food is defrosted that should be frozen and I've brought ice cream that you can tell was freezer burned.

Helpful and friendly staff, excellent sales and a rewards card program. Staff went above and beyond to make sure I found all the items I was looking for. My only qualms is the cashier bagged my meat and broccoli together, which isn't hygienic for ready to eat foods to be bagged with raw meat.

It doesn't have quite the selection of the large grocery chains, but it's definitely the most convenient grocery store in the area. The prices are reasonable and the employees are friendly.

Workers are extremely unprofessional and disorganized. I came in for an interview and had to answer questions in the middle of the store while customers were trying to shop. At the end of the “interview” they told me I had the position just to call me not even 30 minutes after the interview to tell me they did not look over my whole application and siblings can not work together. This was overall disappointing.
