It may be a small town business, but they are very helpful with whatever project you are working on and offer free, much needed advice if you aren't quite sure of what you need ... they don't just tell you and point to what isle you need, they walk you to the items and make sure you get the correct ones !!! They have ALWAYS been so friendly and take time to help in any way they can !!!

Very freindly and helpful staff. Katie was very nice and a pleasure to talk to.I prefer doing business with small town family type business as opposed to a large chain store. They have pretty much anything you need and there prices are fair.I highly recommend Messer Hardware if you in the area.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would cause they put a great deal of focus on customer service and satisfaction at Messer's Hardware and even if they are busy with something they still take the time to help and explain especially with me on all my DIY adventures. I looked up a stain color and through a little computer work they found what I needed and again the customer service was great. Lord willing this weekend ill have another project and ill head that way for some paint and hope to see you all there so you can experience the small town business that really appreciate and cares about their customers.

Been going here for less than a year. Just moved into town. Only time I have had any problem with this place but because of this I will never come back. Came in to get a spare key made for my truck as I only had one and had locked my keys in my truck last week. The guy tried 3 times to make a key and would not work. Not only did he not make a spare but he ruined my original. Then they told me it was not their fault and refused to help me resolve the problem. After an hour they gave me the number to a locksmith and walked back inside leaving me and my son stranded in the parking lot. Insulting. The key worked fine when I got there and all they could say was it’s not their fault.

I got the best deal on potting soil and garden soil, at Messer's! Everyone, except a young lady working the the register, was very nice to deal with, too. Hopefully, the young sales lady will learn she can't do 4 different things at one time and serve the customer standing right in front of you, well. I do plan to shop there, again, though.

I was there with a HANDICAPPED CHILD/ PERSON. Just tryn to get plants . Seeds fertilizer . 3 employee s would start to help. Quit go help some other customer. I was there 38 minutes . Headed to Alabama.. never has problems there'.. My daughter is very well behaved .

Customer service is a plus but way over priced and they follow you around like your a thief but if you know what you our looking for leave people alone and that way they don't feel like they have to be rushed so they can look around and shop more and increase your sales but they are very knowledgeable
