I have a 3 month old English Setter puppy and I took him to several dog parks hoping to socialize him. Each time a big dog would pounce on him. I did some research and toured pawtropolis and brought Elvis there this morning for his first play group meeting. He was there for the day and we were able to watch him at any time on their webcam. He looked so happy!! The staff was so caring and friendly and patient with him. After all he’s a 3 month old puppy and can be rambunctious! I am so pleased to bring him back in 2 days. Thank you so much!!!!

Pawtropolis West is an amazing place with super friendly staff and very clean facilities. They treat our dogs like family members and always provide a daily update of their experience. I love the webcams which helps alleviate my separation anxiety.

Absolutely floored. The amount of energy and kindness these people had with my dog, and I, after spending their hours keeping multiple dogs is remarkable. From the front desk, to every employee I came in contact with, I was so impressed. Everyone treated my dog as if he was theirs. He has been sleeping ever since we got back home and mom loves that! Deacon is my family and I am overwhelmed with gratefulness that the staff at Pawtropolis Westside feels the same about my puppy. Recommend 100%, 14/10, and worth every dime knowing my dog is safe, cared for, and LOVED when I am not around. Home away from home for Deacon! Thanks so much to the staff❤️

The staff was very friendly on phone and in person. I was just a ball of anxiety, here’s my short story: My dog has some behavior issues (doesn’t like other ppl or pets) so i was very skeptical but Billy talked to me and took time out of his schedule to meet my German shepherd (Ace) before his scheduled stay to determine if his behavior would be ok or not. Surprisingly, Ace did WAY better than I’d imagined upon meeting with Billy. So Pawtropolis really saved our vacation and although Ace wasn’t a good candidate for daycare, he was able to stay in a private apartment for about 10 days there and he did just fine. During his stay they said his behavior had progressed in a good way. When i picked him up he looked happy and healthy. Thank you Pawtropolis! Thank you Billy! Keep up the good work y’all have a great team of employees! I will be using your services in the future and would def recommend to others!

I have been incredibly impressed with all of my experiences at Pawtropolis! My dog, Toby, loves to play at daycare. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with the excellent staff at Pawtropolis. They truly care about the animals.

We got our puppy from here. They were extremely thorough and friendly with the whole adoption process. They even came a long way to make sure our house was suitable for the dog we were adopting. We love our puppy Linus. We have been back a couple times and everytime has been great. Even a free microchip and neuter.

My sweet 1 year old golden retriever came to stay for a luxury sleepover with daycare added on each day. I dropped him off with calming chews since it was his first time and told them to call me for permission to use if he seemed anxious.This morning, a girl called me and said "He is okay, nothing is wrong he is all good" and that he was scratching at the door before playgroup for daycare and asked if they could administer calming chews. I said yes and thanked her for called me.Upon picking him up this afternoon, I learned that he had blood on his door and needed his paw cleaned and I was not notified. The employee thought they had called and spoken to the owner. I am the owner and no one told me.I found out unpacking his bag upon arriving home that he did not eat a meal from leftover bags. I called and THEN they told me he did not eat breakfast this morning when they asked to administer medication. He is not supposed to have the calming medication on an empty stomach so I would've said no. I also asked the food to be wet and it being dumped in the bag shows it was never made wet.I was excited for my dog's stay and am so disappointed and honestly feel I've only been told the half truth of my pup's stay. I went out of town placed my trust in a recommended business to be so let down is so sad, unfortunately look elsewhere for an overnight stay :(

I visit pawtropolis for the self bathing rooms they have available. It is perfect for me as I have two large dogs. We get to use a full sized room and we have it all to ourselves so I can easily wrangle and wrestle with them until they are finally clean. I bring my own shampoo and conditioner to use however it is also provided- just heavily diluted. It is easy to use and they clean up the fur tornadoes once you are done. Oh! They also have waterproof aprons for those of you out there that have dogs like mine- they are bent on making sure you get a bath to!

My Tiki was a member of Pawtropolis before it was Pawtropolis. When my girl was 14 weeks old she experienced her first day of what she and I eventually named as "school". At this time it was called Petropolis and Amanda had not long ago opened her doors to the doogies and kitties of Athens and beyond with this new concept of "doggie daycare". Well...Tiki grew up going to what soon became Pawtropolis and moved with them when the Whitetail Way facility opened in Bogart. To say that Tiki loved going to "school" is an understatement. The staff from day one were her family away from me when she was there whether it be during the day or for a stay when I was traveling. For 13 years Tiki enjoyed being a citizen of Pawtropolis and her last time there was just 2 weeks before she crossed over to Rainbow Bridge. Tiki attended both the east and west locations, whichever was most convenient to me and what I had going on. The Pawtropolis family mourned right along with me on the loss of such a sweetheart of an animal and I owe a lot of that fact to Pawtropolis and how they took care of my girl for all the years she was with us. If you visit the westside, notice the pony tail palm on the desk, it is there in honor of Tiki's sweet spirit and the love that she had for all her peeps at Pawtropolis.

Very well run kennel, daycare and dog training classes. Well staffed, professional, fair pricing. I trust my 80lb Akita with them. She enjoyed her stay and bath. Im signing up for dog training for some of her behavior issues.

My dogs stayed at Pawtropolis West from July 22- July 31. They did private boarding in the apartments. This is the first time I've ever put my dogs in boarding. To start off, I didn't know private boarding doesn't allow you to watch your pets through a camera while away. Kind of a let down. I was also hoping to get some type of daily review of how my dogs were doing since I was away but instead they do small note cards and you get them the day you pick them up. Unfortunately, my dogs did develop kennel cough while being there which was very upsetting. I informed the facility of this, they told me they'd call in 3days to check on them but they didn't. Lastly, the rooms they were in weren’t as big as the picture. I had two German Shepard dogs, one 70lb and one 100lb.Update:A week later, pawtropolis did call me after seeing my Google review and apologized on their behalf and did issue me a partial refund for some of the special things I added on for my pups and asked how my pups were feeling.For future, I still do recommend Pawtropolis for my pups daycare as they are welcoming from the moment you enter and my babies really were happy being there.

My dog, Hank, loves going to daycare here! The staff quickly learned his name and now they always greeting him by name! He loves every one of the staff members. I feel confident taking him there knowing he is in excellent hands. I know that if anything ever were to happen at daycare (despite all of their measures to keep the pups safe) he would be taken care of like one of their own fur children. I highly recommend this place!!! We love Pawtropolis!

My dog loves it here! She gets so excited to walk in everyday and the staff is great to her! When I pick her up, they always tell me how her day was and who she played with without me even having to ask. She is always exhausted after a full day of daycare which is perfect for when I have tons of assignments or need to study.

Brought my two miniature aussies here today for their orientation and first time at Pawtropolis. The staff are superb; very polite, very knowledgeable, and very understanding and welcoming of my two pups (one of whom is quite shy). Their evaluations were spot on and the staff clearly know what they are doing. Came from a different doggy day care (where we were not happy with the service) and this is a world apart from it. Absolutely would recommend this spot for all your doggie needs!10/10

Our favorite spot for boarding and grooming. The staff loves on and cares for our pup like he is their own. He always comes home like he has had his own vacation and the baths are a treat for all of us. We trust Pawtropolis with our fur baby and know he is always really well taken care of there.

Great staff and great service. My dog stayed overnight for 5 days and played with the daycare dogs during the day. He came back happy and healthy. I really like that they have multiple webcams so you can check in on your dog while you are away.They write detailed notes about your pets stay, and have an interview process to ensure that all dogs in the play group are behaved enough to play together.

I absolutely love the staff at Pawtropolis! Never fail, they are always incredibly friendly and considerate. They’re also very knowledgeable about each dog and the personality. I hate to have to board my pup, but have absolutely no hesitation or concern about him or the care he receives when he’s at Pawtropolis. He loves it and enjoys playing with his friends (both canine and human). He’s always tired and well exercised when he gets home which is a plus for me being the owner of a hyper lab puppy :) Thank you for always taking such good care of my boy!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place and the staff. We have been sending our dog there for the past couple of months and I just feel like the people at this location take such good care of my dog Ralph, who at times can be a stubborn puppy. They actually care and take the time during daycare to correct bad behaviors. I noticed that every time I pick up Ralph and he tries to pull on the leash, they make him sit and try to correct it which i really appreciate. But seriously the employees on the west side are awesome!!

I LOVE Pawtropolis! The east side is more convenient so I typically take my pups there for daycare and swimming. However, Allison, the groomer on the west side, is worth the drive! She has groomed my pups for 5 or 6 years now. I've got one anxious chow mix who doesn't get comfortable in new situations very easily, but Allison has a way with him and he is almost smiling when I pick him up after a haircut. She does a fantastic job and writes a little report card after each grooming to let you know how things went.Pawtropolis is absolutely awesome! There are no other places I would trust so easily with my sweet babies. Read my other review on the east side location for more information.

We LOVE Pawtropolis! Their staff is very professional and knowledgeable of animal behaviors and tendencies. I am very possessive of my dog but I feel comfortable dropping him off here for the day! I really love that I can check on my dog at any point throughout the day through the webcam. He always comes home tuckered out and ready for a nap. At some point, we will probably also let him stay when we go on trips. Love love LOVE Pawtropolis!

Our three Labrador Retrievers have been going to Pawtropolis for 7 years. They love it...my husband and I love it! That is one place I can leave my dogs and not have one worry about them. Awesome staff, clean facility, safe and very happy place for dogs. I am constantly recommending Pawtropolis to people who are looking for a place for their dogs to learn, have fun, get some great socialization and/or exercise.

Hands-down the best place for your dog to stay while you are away! We know our lab is well-cared for when we board her. The staff is accommodating and friendly. We have used the doggie daycare service, boarding, and grooming at Ptrop. We are thrilled with how well our dog is treated and would never trust our dog with anyone else!

Pawtropolis is without a doubt one of the best places for loving and professional care for your pet. Amanda and her staff are extremely competent, polite, knowledgeable, and love their jobs and your pet! Pawtropolis takes such good care of our sweet pup!!!! When we started bringing our dog Georgia not long ago to the Westside location, I was pregnant. Unfortunately, Georgia has only been back a few times with our now busy schedules and every time we have come the staff asks about us and our new little one. That is what customer service is all about right there. To remember specific things about their customers and always making us feel so welcomed. We have brought her other places in the past for MONTHS/YEARS and never felt like the people remembered me or cared about Georgia as much as Pawtropolis does in the short time we have been bringing her. We know she is always in good hands and we are so thankful.

Extremely friendly staff, who treat your dog like your child! Love the feature of being able to check on my dog throughout the day with the live webcams. They are also extremely good about letting you know how your pup did during the day and what items need to be possibly addressed and or worked on.

I have moved away from the Athens area and I can honestly say I have yet to find a place even close to the quality of Pawtropolis. The staff obviously care about each and every animal there. They take the time to get to know both the pet and the owner on an individual level, and it shows every time you walk in to the facility. My dog was excited every time we would pull in to the parking lot, and was happy and tired every time we would leave. I hope life's adventures bring me back to Athens one day soon, and I can say without a doubt once I'm back in town I will be visiting Pawtropolis again!
