This cafe deserves a solid five-star rating, primarily owing to its incredible vibes that set the perfect tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance is unparalleled, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that enhances the overall enjoyment.Moving on to the coffee selection, it stands out as a highlight of the cafe. The diverse range of coffees available caters to various preferences, ensuring there's something for every coffee enthusiast. The quality of the coffee is commendable, making each sip a pleasure for the taste buds. While some might find the prices a tad on the higher side, it's essential to acknowledge that the cost aligns with the superb quality and ambiance offered. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and in this case, the experience justifies the price.Having experienced the cafe's charm, I can confidently say that the slightly elevated prices are a reasonable trade-off for the exceptional experience provided. The promise of a memorable time, coupled with the top-notch coffee selection, ensures that a return visit is not only likely but eagerly anticipated. Overall, this cafe has successfully carved its niche, earning its well-deserved five-star rating.

We absolutely LOVED visiting Mountain Mama coffee. We planned an Easter mountain vacation in Cherry Log and I am definitely the type to research the best spots. I do not regret taking time to visit this coffee shop. Tucked behind quaint downtown Blue Ridge, this coffee shop has the best outdoor seating, unique drinks, great indoor atmosphere, AND you must get the Fresh Greens bagel!!! Absolutely fantastic food, coffee, and vibe. Worth the stop.

From the fresh made syrups to the atmosphere, this is a must try! Don’t waste time deciding which drink to try, I recommend doing the flight with every new menu drop. If you are local go ahead and sign up for the rewards program, you will definitely be back if you love coffee or teas. There is nothing like the relaxation I feel sitting down here drinking that first sip of coffee.

This is a super cute coffee shop in downtown Blue Ridge! The vibes are wonderful, there are blankets everywhere and it feels like you could settle in for a while. The staff was very friendly and patient. I tried a vanilla bean latte and a caramel latte, both were made with homemade syrups and were delicious! The only thing that seemed difficult is the parking situation, but I would recommend finding parking in downtown Blue Ridge and just walking over.

Mountain Mama's coffee lounge is a treasure trove of originality when it comes to their lattes. Each cup is a testament to their commitment to creativity, boasting flavors you won't find anywhere else. Add to that their dedication to crafting everything from scratch, and the cozy welcoming atmosphere and you've got a coffee experience that's truly exceptional. As a local, it's my preferred destination for a caffeine kick that never disappoints.

Came to visit Blue Ridge and we stopped at this coffee shop. The drinks were all very good, I personally had the recommendations from the staff and tried the Gretel’s Special Latte. Everyone in my group loved it and wish they had ordered it for themselves. The set up felt super homie and makes you want to stay a while. They have a flight option to try different drinks, definitely recommend doing it!

Cool, quaint coffee shop with friendly service. Drip coffee was solid and the cinnamon something drink my wife got tasted just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Chocolate chip cookie was very good. Muffin pretty good too. Cheesy bagel solid as well. Nice little place to start the day. The clientele seemed to be a mix of tourists and locals which gives it a more diverse vibe.Parking: Right off a pay for parking lot but also easy access to street, 3 hour limit, parking. Likely fills up pretty bad during busy times.Kid-friendliness: Don't expect coffee shops to be overly kid friendly, but it did okay in that area.

My wife and I came here specifically for the flight option so that we could try a variety of drinks. Each one was simply delicious, my top picks were the van life matcha and the tiramisu and my wife loved her golden lion and mountain mama. But favorites are hard to pick because they are so good. Before we leave from this area from vacation we will be coming back for more! The staff are also very kind and have good vibes.

Super cute cafe with relaxing atmosphere. The staff is SO friendly. I discovered this place last summer and I go out of my way to come back for the coffee and food. There’s usually a vegan pastry option, and lots of their food can me made vegan. The staff always helps me and makes sure I’m ordering dietary things. Love this place!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available!

Mountain Mama's is the most relaxing, comfortable, welcoming coffee shop I've ever been in. It's like walking into a ski lodge in Aspen, it's that nice inside. The coffee is outstanding, as well! The girls running the place are extremely pleasant and welcoming. Heck, even the bathroom was incredible! I had a great experience at Mountain Mama's!

Mountain Mama offers an ambiance that can easily stand toe-to-toe with the best coffee shops I've visited. From the moment you step through the door, the carefully curated interior decor warmly welcomes you, making you feel instantly at home. This cozy atmosphere is only enhanced by the genuinely friendly staff, whose welcoming demeanors contribute to the overall charm of this place. However, while the warmth of the environment is truly exceptional, the food and drink offerings did not entirely meet my expectations. The avocado toasts and bagels, though homemade, were just okay. I had expected a more distinctive flavor from these items, considering they were made in-house, but they fell a bit short. As for the drinks, they were decent but not particularly remarkable, especially when considering the price point. Speaking of price, the cost of our meal - four coffees, two bagels, and two avocado toasts - was a staggering $105 after tip. This seemed quite exorbitant for a coffee shop tucked away in Georgia. While I understand and appreciate the financial pressures on small businesses and the importance of fair wages, I still found the cost hard to justify. Balancing quality and price can be a difficult act, but achieving it would make Mountain Mama an all-round, irresistible coffee shop.

The menu on appearance is pretty fantastic, and the only speciality coffee shop in the area. I take my matcha pretty seriously and was very excited to try theirs. Because of experiences at other coffee shops I usually ask for more matcha because what I’m served is basically matcha flavored milk. I did that here but the temp of the water or milk was so high that all the flavors of the matcha were burnt. I really wanted to like this place so I went back again and offered up what I thought was the issue. This time the matcha was the perfect temp but they didn’t use enough matcha powder. Also service is incredibly dependent on how busy they are. I can’t speak for the coffee because I’m strictly a matcha drinker, but my partner said it was mid. I’d say if speciality coffee is what you’re after it’ll be the best option you’ve got in blue ridge.

We were visiting family in Blue Ridge and stopped in Mountain Mama’s yesterday. We found a wonderful, obviously well intentioned spot, great coffee, wonderful avocado toast as well as other pastries and the best tea around! The staff was great, we even met the owner who was just an absolute ray of sunshine! If you’re in the area, Mountain mama’s is a must!Parking: There is a paid lot, free street parking and free off street parking, all exceptionally close. This spot is easy to access!

Pastries and coffee were great and the vibe is super cool. There are indoor and outdoor areas, and dogs are allowed in the outdoor patio. We paid about $25 for two drinks and a pastry. Service was a little slow (waited about 20 minutes), but it was crowded. I would come back!

The people working here will judge you based on your appearance and treat you accordingly. Got the sociopath’s stare from the young lady at the register, followed by a lukewarm cup of latte that looked and tasted more like warm milk dotted with a teaspoonful of coffee, than a latte. It’s sad when you go to a mom and pop coffee shop and wish that you had instead opted for Starbucks. Maybe pay more attention to making the drinks than talking so loudly about your own personal problems that the entire coffee shop has to listen. Also recommend training workers to treat everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of personal feelings based on age, sex, dress, etc.

We were just visiting and in the neighborhood and stumbled across this place. We are SOO glad we did! Mountain Mamas did an incredible job of making you feel welcome and cozy while serving you PHENOMENAL coffee. We cozied up on a couch with a blanket and read our books. The staff was so kind! If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely be stopping by. Highly recommend!

Came here today and ordered 3 hot lattes and a hot chocolate and they were busy! i had waited about 25 minutes and just started to notice that the party in front of me were just starting to get their drinks. I heard the barista tell people coming in that they can’t make any coffee for 25 min because “they were backed up”. Gee, i wish they would have told me that when i ordered otherwise i would not have ordered!!! it ended up taking almost 40 min from start to finish. and the hot chocolate tasted like warm milk. The lattes were pretty good though! They basically make 1 drink at a time and had 3 people working. They need to get a bigger espresso machine to compensate for the busy times
