If you are in Ellijay or the surrounding area, you should take the time to visit this great thrift store in Blue Ridge that benefits the area Humane Society. I have never seen a thrift store like it. It is very well organized and everything is staged like little antique shop booths. The locals call it "Macy's of Blue Ridge" because many of their donations are from generous affluent residents of the area. I noticed a number of reviewers complain about the prices, but I found most items in line with other chain thrift stores. Some of the furniture and high-end items may seem high priced, but they are high-quality, well designed pieces that are well worth the asking price. I could completely furnish a mountain home (if I had one) with furniture purchased there. For the rest of us, quality, name brand clothing can be found for 3 to 5 dollars, and somewhat more for the top of the line clothes. Small household items, crafts, books, and other typical thrift store items are also priced competitively. And they do have sales. When I went, everything was 10% off. I think it is like any thrift store, you need to go often to get the best deals. The all volunteer staff are very friendly and sales benefit a great cause.

This is not a thrift store. The prices are sky high. An old organ from the 80s $500. $450 for a dresser. $125 for two chairs. Just for an example of the things I saw. Some of the prices were higher than retail in my opinion.

Fabulous selection for lots of things. Prices are fair. Store is clean & well-taken care of. I would definitely shop here again. Purchased 2 mid-century side tables for a more than fair piece.

WAY OVER PRICED!! Gave 2 stars as the volunteers did a great job organizing and displaying items, but dang, this isn't supposed to be an antique store, it's a thrift store.

I love the atmosphere over other thrift stores, and they had a wonderful selection of clothing.

This store is decorated very nicely throughout. Prices are like retail, not thrift store prices. Its set up like antique booths throughout. Average lamp you could find at target priced at $40. We found nothing of real value. No vintage items just modern junk found at any retail store in the last 10 years. Their clothing was the only items I seen that was not over priced. Woman working at counter was rude on March 11th when we visited. Would not patronize this store again.

It's always exciting to go into the store to see what they have. It changes literally on an hourly basis it seems. It is staged beautifully so you can have an idea of how it would look in your home and the people that work there are the nicest I've met since moving down to Georgia. The donations they get in are unbelievable. There are some very generous donors in the area and everyone should be taking advantage of this store. And it goes for a great cause it goes for the Blue Ridge Humane Society. I'll bet I am there 3 to 4 times on average a week

Really excellent broad selection of quality, clothes, furniture and household ornaments. I noticed a hat that had been priced for ten dollars. The retail price was still on the inside of the hat. It was also ten dollars. This begs the question, "is this actually a thrift store?" If you catch stuff with a 35% markdown, it might actually be thrift. You have to know your prices; there are good deals to be found and the quality of goods here is very high. We found an exquisite wool carpet and a rocking chair, which should last a lifetime. You can snag a movie DVD for one dollar...one of the few reliably thrifty buys. It is definitely worth a peek and peruse.

I don't know why I haven't posted a review of this place before now as it's my favorite! I drive an hour & 20 minutes to get there & always leave thrilled. Great merchandise very appealingly displayed, no off-putting odor, very fair pricing & I have always found the staff to be friendly and very helpful, PLUS wonderful cause!

HORRIBLE! Rude counter help, WAY WAY overpriced! (Check the pictures...they have price tags visible in most... $250 for a very average USED chair etc.) They put so much Work and effort into decorating each section as if it were a room.... Knowing that the stuff is going to sit there for a long time Because it is so over-priced.They call it a high end resale store which translates to over-priced thrift store. I hear they don't even help the animals as they claim.

Super friendly staff & awesome selection! All kinds of kitchen supplies as well as clothing. Our son found a pair of men's cabelas jeans & 2pr of redhead jeans all of which were in great condition an marked $3. The lady at the register told him that he could get the winter sale price, which was $5 for all 3 pairs! What an unexpected surprise. Besides the wonderful service, you are helping support the local humane society & all of their efforts. I highly recommend spending some time at this business

This is the second time I have visited this store. I only get to go here when I am in town visiting family. The store itself is clean and welcoming. It is loaded with many treasures. It is decorated with many of the wonderful items they have for sale. You will find clothes, jewelry, household items, books, framed art, and everything in between. You must check it out if you are in the area. The great thing about it is the proceeds go to the Humane Society.

We stopped in on a whim. Glad we did. they had some nice stuff. Variety. Similar to a consignment shop. Got a solid wood end table with a glass top for $64. Staff was very nice.

The lady at the counter was incredibly rude to me. I will not be going back. I also overheard another lady talking on the phone about needing to get an abandoned dog off her hands. So they don’t even help animals!! Word of advice, go down the street to Empty stocking. Their prices are SO much better and the people there have always been so kind.

We were looking for prom dresses for our girls. We found 3 brand new dresses for $25 each. They would have been $700+ in the store. They have a ton of prom dresses.

Unfortunately this is not a thrift store. This a store for rich people to buy used, which is kind of an oxymoron. The amount of items that are $100 or a lot more was unbelievably. There is no excuse for a store to gouge the public, particularly a store that sells donated items. Items that were ‘given’ to them.
