My bf got a milkshake and loved it! I got a root beer float, was a little disappointed they don’t put it all together for you, they have you choose your can soda of choice out of the fridge and then you add it to the cup of ice cream. We did really enjoy the sitting at the outdoor tables! The trash can outside was overflowing, so maybe bring your own trash bag. Lol but we’ll definitely be going back!Parking: Parking in front of building and off to the side.Kid-friendliness: The tables outside under the covered porch and benches are nice for kids. Lots of candy in the store too!

I had been here two years ago and thought it was a great place, this time was a different situation. The website states that for summer hours on Saturday they close at 9pm. We walked into the store at 7:50 and were excited to get some ice cream. We were ready to order immediately and the three workers that were there just stared at us and walked around/cleaned some things until 8pm. Then they informed us they close at 8 and will not serve us even though we had been waiting ready to order for 10 minutes. I then showed the worker that their website said they closed at 9 and she stated “I don’t get paid past 8 so I will not serve you”. I have worked customer service for many years and if she had told us right when we walked in that we wouldn’t have been served that is one thing but they let us sit there while two of the workers did nothing until 8 so they could say we we here past close. We ended up going to the ice cream place down the street that was attached too mini golf and it was delicious! The customer service was good and I would recommend going to Blairsville ice cream and mini golf instead of tin roof creamery.

We were weary about going here due to some of reviews, but we had an excellent experience. The young lady behind the counter was very welcoming and engaging. The ice cream was very good.

Stopped in for a milkshake. They have the usual options of most ice cream places, but they also have a small country style store to shop around. Milkshake was very good and the girls working were nice. Also got some random Japanese candy while I was there.

I liked this place. My husband and I came for ice cream and recieved normal sized ice cream! ( not sure why another reviewer said it was "tiny") They had classic sugar and waffle cones and gave us good sized ice cream scoops. The salted caramel truffle is really great, and my husband thought the pistachio ice cream had plenty of nuts. The young lady seemed to be working the store by herself and was quiet but friendly. People need to stop being so tough on teenagers just because they aren't super social!

Someone should really call the hotline for missing children and see if any of the workers are apart of some human tracking ring or something. They stare off into space and don’t speak, the vibe is very weird! My husband and I both tried to engage in conversation with the young female worker and she just started at us into our souls. When we asked a question about the ice cream and the sizes she just looked at us and didn’t speak. Something is going on behind the scenes of this establishment.

I just discovered this ice cream shop. What a cute place. It’s filled with toys my daughter played with as a child. Toys that will last and keep their imagination going. There was candy that I remember as eating as a child there too. They even have kitchen items, jars of jellies, sauces and syrups etc for sale.Now on to the ice cream. Who knew that Hershey made ice cream? I was so pleased that they had a Carmel truffle ice cream. I choose the Carmel truffle and my daughter choose the dark chocolate ice cream the first time we went. Hershey’s makes great ice cream!Both visits, Kirstin, behind the counter, offered for us to try few different types. She is such a sweet young lady. Very helpful.Our second visit I chose birthday cake. I love when there are actual cake pieces in the ice cream. Why call it birthday cake if there’s no cake. My daughter choose the coffee. There’s a similar one to birthday cake called unicorn.I love finding these new gems ( awesome little shops and stores) around my area. I will be returning ❤️🍦🍨

Very kind and helpful employees, loved the variety of merchandise. My niece found the cutest chalk set that look like yummy goodies and I found non-homogenized milk, which is tough to find! Definitely going to return, the ice cream was calling as well as the old fashioned candies, they had both chico stick candy and bit o honey!

We've been in a half dozen times and I'm not sure why we keep coming back. Each experience has been some variation on what I depict below:We walk in, there is no greeting or eye contact, despite being the only ones in the store. The underage kid (or kids, depending on the day) continues doing whatever they're doing for the next few minutes and we wait for them to finish. Finally, one of us gets our order taken, the other does not. One of the kids makes the item VERY slowly and deliberately. Item is delivered, then they go back to doing whatever they were doing before. Finally, the other one of us gets our order taken and the process is repeated.It's a miracle if we're out of there in under 30 minutes for two milkshakes. The customer service has been awful every time. The product itself is good, which why this is not a one star review.

Ice cream and shakes from here are delicious. The service is efficient. So many options for sweet treats. The staff could have been a tad more friendlier, but they were still helpful and informed us of our options which was great!

We came in about 3:35ish on Saturday 02/06 to get some sweet treats. Two young girls, maybe 14 and 11-12 were there. The older of the two looked in our direction but neither greeted us. Maybe 5 words were spoken to us the entire time we were in there. No one asked if we needed help, were looking for anything, offered a hello, anything. We had to initiate our order and it was extremely awkward, met with blank stares or a head nod. Eventually, we made our way to the check out line and the younger of the two spoke to us, but only to ring us up and ask us if we wanted a bag. As far as the treats go, they left much to be desired. My snow cone has hardly any syrup in it and ice cream servings were tiny. But hey, the younger girl did tell us to have a good day.And now, as we are sitting outside of the shop looking for our next adventure, my 8 year old is reading the Hershey’s ice cream banner that reads “Real Ingredients. Real Ice Cream. Real Smiles.” and she says to me, “mom, that signs lies. There were no smiles in there.... 🤷🏽‍♀️

I wish I had one positive thing to say! Wanted to take the kids for ice cream. Well where should I start. The case that was to hold 20 or so ice creams had maybe 7. When I asked the worker what a random flavor with no tag was I was answered with a blank stare and a shoulder shrug. When I asked about the butterscotch crunch topping again a shoulder shrug and with an I don't know. You are the only worker at a small country store and ice cream parlor with no clue ! Save your money and time and go someplace else! What a joke!

This is a great little place for ice cream, shakes and candy. It is very clean and everyone is nice and very helpful. Huge menu and fresh quality products. You can't beat it. Give them a try. You will be glad you did.

Absolutely terrible! The kid working the counter was completely rude, wouldn’t engage in conversation, tried to ask questions and he had a terrible attitude and zero personality. I would never step foot in this establishment ever again nor would I ever give my money to a company that had employees working there as awful as the one we dealt with. Based off previous reviews, we should have stayed clear of this establishment!

I would have to agree with review below about the two young girls not being very friendly . We were there this afternoon ( 4/26) . The young girl who was behind the counter wasn’t friendly at all. She just stared me up and down and didn’t say anything until the I spoke up and asked for two ice cream cones. When I asked to mix chocolate and vanilla I was told that “we don’t do that”. No hello, goodbye or thank you. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all. If you are going to let teenagers run your shop, please teach them customer service skills. It was not a pleasant experience and I left there feeling bad.

My wife and I came in Saturday 7/27 around 5pm. Received the smallest ice cream cones on earth. Yes the entire planet. Worse yet, the sugar cones were stale. And we bought a couple small candies and they were old. I wish they would give out a magnifying glass so you could see your ice cream. Really a shame. It would sure be nice to have a nice local ice cream place.

Our family visited here last week. The young man who helped us had zero customer service skills. He wasn’t helpful or friendly and stared at us with a blank expression. My husband asked for a topping and it literally took like ten minutes for them to manage putting it on his ice cream. Such a strange experience.

The Tin Roof Country Store and Creamery, formerly Sensational Shakes is in a new location, off the square, in the Merchant’s Walk plaza. It has a great new appeal for families. It’s small town country store and ice cream. There is not only Ice cream, snow cones and milkshakes, but, a variety of candies, old fashioned sodas, fudge, and snacks. The prices are ridiculously affordable!My family had different taste buds, and all found something to love. ❤️

Visited the store for ice cream. The young boy tending the store barely looked up. I asked how are you today and he just gave me a blank stare. While we were looking around in the store before ordering, he went to the back room, as he came out I again asked, how are you doin today. At first no answer then I got a a noise I can’t even come up with a way to spell it. We left and probably never go back. Before you send me a message with a phone number for me to tell you what to do to make it better, don’t. Get someone who wants and needs a job and some customer service training. Eye contact, a smile and polite would be a great start.

The young girl (14 maybe) stood up as we entered and waited with no acknowledgement while we decided. (Might have been a good time to wash her hands since she wasn't going to say anything). I chose rocky road in a cup which was melting already and was deficient of nuts and marshmallows. My husband had 1 scoop of pistachio and 1 scoop of salted caramel and they also were melting. The salted caramel was very good but the pistachio was not flavorful and also was deficient in the quantity of nuts. We didn't receive a "thank you" but the girl did answer me when I asked where the napkins were (after I had to search for the spoons).

Best place I have ever been for a healthy shake! They know what they are doing! Keep up the good work! The staff is friendly and the shop is cozy and very clean. They also sell herbs and vitamins at a reasonable price!

The girl Kirsten was really sweet and very friendly when I went in. The store is very welcoming, a great addition to Merchant's Walk, and helps bring a much needed wave of freshness to downtown Blairsville. The town needs more places and workers like this.
