We’ve been getting all our prescription medication from Walgreens Blairsville for years. We’ve decided to change to another pharmacy in town. There is a young woman that works in the pharmacy that was extremely rude to me and embarrassed me in front of other customers. She was getting ready to go on lunch and she basically told me to come back later. When I told her I can’t come back later and I need the medicine she became very irritated with me. I left the pharmacy without the medicine and went to a different pharmacy that wants my business. The only reason they are getting two stars and not one is because I’ve always had good service from the people working on the general part of the store.

Been using this pharmacy for 4 months. Twice I've had to wait for pharmacy to open because the pharmacist was late ...2 hour drive..traffic..blah blah. When today to pickup no, not narcotics or mood drugs, but my much needed blood pressure medication again, and guess what? They won't be opening because pharmacist is sick and only they have a key and of course being long holiday weekend blah blah blah. Needless to say, transfering prescriptions and documenting this so when I have a heart attack someone will sue. Happy Holidays Blairsville Walgreens POS!

I purchased online and picked up inside the store. The process is fast and and efficient. I walked in gave them my name, she went to an area not even 10ft away picked my purchase scanned the receipt on the bag, handed it to me. The whole thing took less than 3 minutes. Very efficient!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. We moved to Blairsville 1 1/2 yrs ago and have used the local Walgreens pharmacy a few times. Every experience has been terrible. The "pharmacy tech" an older woman has no customer service skills and makes no effort to help customers. This last episode involved a prescription the automatic phone service called and said there was an insurance problem. When we went in to get the prescription we were told they were out of stock. Didn't say they would try to get it or when. I called to Blue Ridge Walgreens and they had it in stock and was ready when we arrived. Good thing this wasn't a medication that was critical, would be dead. We used another Walgreens pharmacy for over 30 years and never had any problems. We will be looking for another local pharmacy!

It's rare that you get to see a triple play happen but here it is: Rudeness, incompetence, and price gouging all in one transaction. Way to geo Walgreens!I was visiting and needed a weeks worth of two prescriptions. Both cheap, generic, common drugs. I had no dealing with any other pharmacy up here and I had seen Walgreens, so I picked them. My Dr office called it in and the nurse told me she asked specifically if they had them in stock. They said they did. They lied.I drove into pick them up and after having the rudest clerk handle my transaction, she didn't say a word about not filling one of the drugs. After opening the bag, I had to ask her. She then told me they were out of stock.I had make another 1 hour trip the next day after it had come in. Again rude beyond belief having to shout through a poorly designed, falling down plexiglass shield. No apology, no nothing.After having lied to my Dr's office and been exceptionally rude, they had the nerve to charge over $3.00 a pill, for a generic drug that is basically given away with most insurance plans.This was inexcusable. I would not consider buying a bandaid from them.

Normally I don’t come to Walgreens but sadly cvs wasn’t open so we had to go here. I have a service dog and we were fixing to leave when some lady came up to us and said “ cute puppy and all but you can’t have him in here unless he’s a service animal or support animal ” I told her that he is a service dog but she went on to tell me that he has to have a tag that specifies that he’s a service dog but that’s not true. As long as I have the id card and everything I don’t need anything on him that specifies that he’s a service dog. I’ve never had any issues with any other store about my service animals. Walmart, cvs, dollar general, etc. they all love my service animals and never asked a thing or told me I couldn’t have them in the store.

Unfortunately "0" or "-" is not an option on this comment site.This store is BAAAAAAAD news!!!!The answering machine, phone mail doesn't work (can't leave messages). The pharmacy is "knocked out", can't get prescriptions in or out of the system. They don't know when it will be fixed. This with the need of prescription meds. and the weekend coming up. Do not rely on this place for your required meds.Calls to the store phone number were routed to a "call center" where you cannot understand the call center person. After several requests, another phone number was given...for a store 30 miles away. This saga could go on forever. Suggest that you change your prescriptions to a reliable source.The prescription department continues to be closed after 3 days with no end in sight. Walgreens Corp. seems to have no urgency in getting medications to patients who require them. Will be changing to CVS Monday A.M., as this is now the weekend.These are a real bunch of inept clowns that seem to reflect corporate philosophy.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to get my COVID vaccine today. Took 10 minutes just to get my birth date, name, phone number, address, etc. She had to ask my name and birth date multiple times. She asked for my insurance card, looked at it, rudely said "we don't take this", and then rudely handed it back. All of the staff were talking amongst themselves, weren't wearing gloves, one wasn't wearing a mask like the others. They were talking amongst themselves in front of other customers. Then, had a customer come to the door to have a completely unrelated conversation. Doing that while they could've been bringing my paperwork. My mom and I got up and left. Overall they have rude and unprofessional workers. Will never be going back here.

Very poor experience, poor customer skills, poor over all deal. Lady that my husband had to deal with,short heavy older hateful female with brunette evil female.She told my husband that she can not scan some1s Cashapp to load their card and that is the only way to load it. Very rude. Not accommodating at all although she simply refused to perform her job description and details, lack of job knowledge and bad ppl skills. It's how you load Cashapp cards. With cash. So we ended up having to drive to Family Dollar and take our business there. This lady put lady at Walgreens to shame.Very accommodating,friendly, good ppl skills good manners and respectful and cheerful.good job family dollar bad reveiw walgreens.u been out done by dollar storethats sad.so if you need to load ur Cashapp go to family Dollar.not here.

Pretty disappointed in my experience with Walgreens. Although the staff was fairly pleasant, everything after that has been a disaster. I scheduled a COVID-19 test through this Walgreens for a Thursday morning. Friday morning rolls around and the lab still hadn’t even received my results. When they finally did receive my results that afternoon, they stated that Walgreens forgot to label my specimen tube, so my test wasn’t processed at all. After contacting Walgreens, they told me to contact PWN health whom told me to contact Walgreens again. Walgreens was absolutely no help, when it was obviously a mistake on their end. Basically, they said all I could do was get tested again. They would not assist me in getting another test scheduled and it was extremely frustrating, as we all know how difficult it is to get one of these tests quickly scheduled. I understand that mistakes happen, I really do. However, it’s what is done about those mistakes that really matter and Walgreens did absolutely nothing. I needed the test results in order to return to work, so now, not only am i going to have to get another test done, but, thanks to this mistake, I am missing out on several more days of work. I’m truly so disappointed in the entire process and how it was handled.

I called to see if my prescription was ready for my son before I left the house. He has been throwing up since 3am and they told me it wouldn’t be ready until after 4pm. Unacceptable. Had prescription called to a new pharmacy.

Went into this store to pick a few items and upon checkout, the woman was very rude, unfriendly and demanding!!!! Very low stock, short hours and dirty store!! Had to take back one of the items and you would have thought I was a criminal for doing so! Again, rude store clerk!!!!!!!

I don't live in Blairsville, I just visit regularly for a long weekend every once in a while. The people working here don't seem very knowledgeable, the choices of items are limited, merchandise is not well organized and everything is pricey. I may occasionally visit for small grocery items, but if it was a pharmacy I am looking for I would shop around to check my choices.

I am here in Blairsville on vacation about 4 times a year. I needed a rare antibiotic ordered and Walgreens was excellent and FAST!

Just recently, visiting the area, I had an issue with getting a prescription refilled. My pharmacy at home was not much help and said just get the prescription filled wherever I was going. Not only did the young man in the pharmacy help me out significantly with that he also worked to allow me to get a three month prescription as opposed to a 30 day one. I wish I could remember his name to thank him personally but he could not have been more helpful in the situation, I was very very pleased.

Pharmacist Jerry D. was extremely rude and unprofessional to my wife, we switched from the Murphy location Walgreens to this one since it's 1 minute from home. After the experiences we've had at this location from the pharmacist, we will no longer do any business with this location, we will again make the 40 mile round trip to Murphy Walgreens were they treat customers with dignity, respect, and privacy. Unbelievable amount of disrespect from this location. Never again here!

This store is closed all the time it’s one excuse after another they need to go in and either remodel the store put a new equipment or they need to close and open a new area. I have prescriptions that I cannot even pick up because the computers were down and they could release them and now they’re closed for the day. If you need meds and you need them right away this is not the store for you.

Covid vaccine appointment times mustn’t mean anything to the Blairsville Walgreens. After checking in for my 6pm appointment, I waited 50 minutes. Then got up and left. Don’t waste your time

The staff are always polite and extremely helpful, more so than any others I've done business with in the tri-state area. Unfortunately, either due to high demand or supply issues my prescriptions are often delayed a day or two which can be frustrating at times.

Put a minus in front of that star, pharmacy said my prescription was 158.oo the Dr. Gave me a discount card and said I would save 80 percent. Well after running the card it why up to 188smh

If I could it would be lower than a 1! There's a few really nice women that work but the actual pharmacist is a deuce. They never have the medicine. I end up having to always go to a different pharmacy. Not to mention every time myb husband goes to get his monthly prescription they give him mortal hell. Mainly just the one dick , we'll just say his name rymes with Ferry. He made us sit in the car this time, took his ID to verify and after about an hour handed it back at 9pm and said he couldn't fill it. This place use to be the best pharmacy now its just a joke. Save your time and nerves and go to Cvs or brasstown. At least the pharmacists act like they care. The women there are great maybe they need to take over. Power to the women!

I was recently put on a blood pressure medicine and I got a call from one of the pharmacists that was calling to see if I had any questions or concerns about the medicine. Excellent customer service! Super sweet and caring!

Great staff, wonderful people. Easily the best pharmacy in the area. The one drawback is that they are not a compounding pharmacy.
