I've just recently got back into fish keeping and have found Pet City USA to be absolutely the best pet store ever. When you walk in the store you smell nothing! It's so clean! The animals are well taken care of and the store is spotless! The owner has answered all my many questions and has actually ordered fish and plants for me! I find the quality of these fish to be outstanding! I'm one not to keep normal fish, lol, so he orders anything I want! I have a 55 gallon tank that I purchased which was already up and running. I've been able to buy some cool fish for this tank! Just last week I decided to get a 10 gallon and set it up for good snails. I purchased everything I needed from Pet City, including the snails and plants! I added some tank mates and I just love it! All look like they are thriving! Forget about going elsewhere because our hometown as just what you need in a pet store!Oh, I am thinking about a bird now! 😂

We love this store and the owner, Chris! I suggest Pet City to everyone who asks where we get our pet supplies. My wife and I have gotten some of our hamsters and a guinea pig from here and they are wonderful animals. Chris actually interacts with the animals he sells so you’re not buying something that’s never been handled and socialized a bit.The cleanliness of the store is my favorite thing about it. The animals cages are always spotless and the fish tanks are crystal clear. The pet store in Blue Ridge has an odor that will take your breath away when you walk in so I appreciate finally having one in Blairsville that is so well-maintained. Plus, if you can’t find what you’re looking for, he always checks to see if he can order it for you and have it sent to the store!All of our pets from Pet City have been happy, healthy, sweet little animals and we adore them.

Love this store. I have bought saltwater fish and supplies, freshwater fish and supplies, gerbils, a beautiful reptile and plenty of feed and supplies for them. Always fun and friendly. The animal areas are always clean with the sweetest little animals, and the tanks are in perfect shape. Highly recommend.

Staff was friendly, they had a great selection of live feeder insects, the place was very clean, organized and you can tell that these animals are well taken care of!

This store is exceptionally clean - both the store itself and the animals habitat and the aquariums. The owner is extremely helpful, both in answering questions about the animals and always helpful to me since I am in a wheelchair to get items I am unable to reach.They also have great pet food and toys.

First visit to Pet City USA. One of the most impressive assortments of small and exotic animals I have seen in a pet store. Same for tropical fish. Only about 2 of 20+ tanks are commonly found fish. The rest contain many unique species and colors. Worth the visit.

Chris, the owner is very nice and helped me when I needed an extra tank for one of my fish. He is very knowledgeable about pets and aquatics.

HUGE thanks to the owner who offered to let me to purchase some mealworms on Labor Day, even though the store was closed (I guess he was there doing animal care). I was in the area on vacation from FL, and we somehow brought one of our lizards with us in the car (probably in some firewood). The little thing was skinny and dehydrated when I found him. I do hope that the owner reads this review. The little lizard ate three of the mealworms as soon as I dropped them in his enclosure. I'm confident that I'll be able to release him when I get back home to FL later this week. I didn't get the owner's name, but sir you made a difference and made it possible to help save a small life. Thank you!

I was in a few months ago, maybe longer, to purchase a feeder mouse for my python. The proprietor was involved with another customer so I joined another person waiting by the register. In the over 15 minutes that I and another customer's presence was ignored, we were treated to a diatribe about the owners of the pet store in Blue Ridge. They don't know this and they are wrong about that and really personal unprofessional attacks, over and over again. I was never approached and told it would be a minute, neither was the customer I was waiting with. I left and I will make it a point to avoid supporting a business that is so blatant with their unprofessionalism.Update, as you can tell from the attached screen shots unprofessionalism comes naturally to this proprietor. Avoid.

Really missed not having a pet store in town but it was really worth the wait. Place looks great inside and seems like they have a great selection of not only supplies but pets as well. Glad to see ya'll back!

The animals are healthy and friendly it takes time to get them used to you but IT'S SO WORTH IT ☺️

An absolutely terrible establishment. Horribly rude, slow, and very unknowledgeable. I was so excited to see it open, but they really let the ball down. Plus the constant disrespect for other stores and people is very frustrating. Just go to the store in Murphy or Blue Ridge. They are helpful, nice, and don't try to talk smack, even about this store.
