They actually do know their customers by name and treat you like family. Absolutely love Martika, Michael, Baz, Stephanie, James and the rest of the crew. The food is the best! And the portion size? You'll be stuffed when you leave! I've never seen potatoes as big as their stuffed baked potatoes. You get more than what you pay for. Absolutely nobody has better BBQ than James and my daughter loves Stephanie's peach cobbler better than mine. I could go on forever. You have to try it for yourself.

It was our 1st time there & the food was great. More food than we could eat. My steak, green beans, baked potato was good. My other half seafood platter was some of the best. It's hard to find the batter with flavor in it, but not here. It was great. Our server was really great. Very attentive, polite, & very informative. Everyone was friendly. We will be going back.

This place looks like a hole in the wall, which if you know anything about dives, should be your first indicator that the food is gonna slap harder than your mama when you say a curse word! If you're looking for a place that cuts steaks and not corners, then go here and eat! The food was absolutely amazing from the sides to the ribeye. Everything was handmade and made with love. I'm not sure how the food could be beat, but the service was even better. Everyone was very friendly and they make you feel right at home, with a laid back atmosphere. I'm going to go ahead and call this the best restaurant in this town, because I don't see anybody de-throning them for that title!

I swear, if our waitress called me "Honey, Sweetheart or Sweetie" one more time, I would have asked her to marry me!! ;) The pictures definitely do this place a favor. The interior could use some attention. Very cold and not inviting. The food was VERY good and prices were great. All in a good experiences, I'd go back. Seems like this is more of a 'locals' go-to more than a visitor looking for a something new while in town. I'm glad I went, once. Thank you ladies, the service was great!!!

Had my Christmas dinner for my family cooked here. Portions were the exact right amount, just enough for us. Everything was very reasonably priced, the food was delicious, particularly the melt-in-your-mouth brisket and the sweet potato casserole, it had just the right amount of sweetness & crispy pecans.Staff was also very lovely & pleasant. I will be dining & doing future family events here again.

Traveling from Kentucky and happened on this place by chance after a long day of driving. I can honestly say I have never felt more welcomed at any dining establishment I have ever visited! Felt like we were friends/family just stopping by rather than customers. Staff was wonderful! When our food arrived (promptly and hot), I was genuinely surprised. First time I've EVER taken a pic of food, just had to share with my friends how awesome this was. Planning another trip south soon and are going a couple hours out of our way to visit again. Thanks for the excellent experience and hospitality!

I know I will upset some folks with my review, but I call it like I experience it. This was my first time dining here. I have heard nothing but rave reviews from family and friends that live in the area. Their food was fantastic. That is, WHEN we finally got it. It took almost 90 minutes to get our food. Our waitress was almost non-existent. Another server saw that we had been without drinks for some time and came over, asked politely if she could get us refills, and took care of them. Only to be publicly berated at the counter by our so-called waitress. Completely unprofessional. After waiting more than 60 minutes for our food, we asked how much longer we had to wait. We were rudely told it's on its way; we make everything from scratch. Again, completely unprofessional. I wish I could say things got better, but they didn't. By the time our food finally arrived, I was so aggravated by the service, I ate about 4 bites and asked for a to-go container. It still took another 10 minutes to get our tickets. I will say, Rose, if it weren't for you, I would have walked out. Your professionalism in the face of a rude coworker was amazing. Thank you. I will be back, if only to hopefully experience the great restaurant I've heard so much about. Maybe by then, the owner will have more Roses and less weeds. I will gladly update if that's the case.

Had mac & cheese & bake beans as my side. They were ok, had better. Pulled pork was good but better with toast. Sweet potato pie was delicious. Shrimp was good. Service was excellent, waiter (Crystal) was on point. Down home environment. Would come back!

Ordered the catfish dinner, cooked perfectly, seasoned great, and the portion was fantastic. My child ordered a pulled pork sandwich which was huge and he claims was delicious for the amount of 2.75. This place is fantastic! We will be back.Came back and ordered the catfish and shrimp dinner and was not disappointed. The coleslaw was sweet and crispy. Come and try, you'll leave happy and full planning your next visit back. Came back for some more catfish, and as usual it was fantastic. Tried a sauce they made called itterdo and it will do. Fantastic!!!! A smokey blend of spices that will have you asking what is in it. You can purchase some for a reasonable price. Please try this sauce so I am not the only one who craves it.

I would put a minus 5 if it was available.I ordered 2 plates. Told lady I wanted pulled pork, potato salad, baked beans and Texas toast. Didn't get potato salad. She substituted the nastiest Cole slaw I ever tasted in my life. Only gave one piece of toast and after I seen what small portion of pulled pork I understood why. It was dry and nasty too. Cost me $29 and change for 2 meals for a toddler. So much for trying to support local business. Won't ever make that mistake again.

WONDERFUL little place!! It is a hidden gem and you can easily miss it while driving. They know how to cook and the food is not greasy or overly salted. Truly quality cooking and tastes amazing. My fiance and I nearly missed it and we were so glad we stopped. Awesome!!!
