Took my dog there and they assured us she would be fine. Next day she was worse and called them and they were closed on a Thursday. Called emergency number and they said they were closed for the weekend. I had to rush her to another vet that day and she died. If they can't be open or take emergency calls then why are they in business. I will drive further to a vet that was concerned and caring about the love we had for our baby.I do not recommend.

They love my Molly. She needed to come in often for seizures medicine. She was never scared, probably because she's a lover of cats. This office has the best pet support. Highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️

If your baby is a patient there and needs emergency care don’t think for one second they will squeeze them in because they will not . My baby Dyna was so sick and they didn’t care all they told me was we can’t help you even after I told them what was going on . I even told them she probably wouldn’t make it another day and she said well like I said we can’t help you , she didn’t makes it they let her die … They do not care about there patients. Someone getting shots or a check up could be rescheduled or something when there is an emergency I’m sure other parents would understand if they would have got a call to see if they were willing to reschedule , I know I sure would if someone had an emergency. They didn’t even try , didn’t even care … They will never get any of my business again and i have 2 more dogs and many cats . I will tell anyone I know to find another clinic . So I put all the blame on this clinic to why my baby isn’t here today . I called them about 5 times in 7 days . I called every one in the surrounding area and no one cared , had to take her all the way to Savannah . If they would have seen her the first time I called them she still would be here today . God Bless !!

The staff scanned a dog we found on the highway for a microchip at the last minute right before they closed for Christmas. They searched available databases for the chip number they found without success. However, with the chip number, we were able to make sure the correct owner could be identified. We were able to get the dog home for Christmas. Thanks to all at Four Rivers Veterinary Clinic in Baxley.

For the last 3 yrs or longer I could never see a vet. First COVID, then health issues with the vet (which I understood), then for no reason for the last year. Then 10 days before leaving for Christmas holiday, they diagnosed my dog with kennel cough in 2 mins behind closed doors. Never saw a vet. He did not have kennel cough and no symptoms of it either. And here I’m going to be around another dog. Had to find a vet where I was going who said absolutely NOT kennel cough. Now I have a great vet where I live. Thank God!!! They need to get a vet that will actually look a pet owner in the face in Baxley. Do you even have a vet in Baxley??? Or does the vet tech miraculously diagnose in 2 mins behind a door.

Friendly, prompt & knowledgeable. I'm from out of state but even with a first time appointment they were able to get my boy in the same day and some blood work done for him. Pricing was very fair as well.

They are courteous and compassionate. I took my German Shepherd for diagnosis and yearly vaccinations. They were thorough and charged about $120.00 less than the same services at Wolfe Animal Clinic in Jesup, Ga. The extra 45 minute drive was worth it.

Doesn't exercise your privilege to be with your pet while being examined. Full exam and shots took less than two minutes...what did they do exactly.... That's my point...they don't let you accommodate your pet or talk with the veterinarian directly.Also, when chewy contacted them about a prescription, they didn't recognize my pet...but if I went back to allow them to administer the meds, at a higher cost, they would be glad to take my money.Going somewhere else for his next year annuals. Even if it cost me more.

I’d like to give this vet the benefit of the doubt as I see so many positive reviews here, but after months of the exact same issues, I have a hard time doing that. I will start by saying the staff has always been friendly and kind, however when it comes to communication and follow through, I cannot find a compliment to give. The examples are not in short supply: I dropped my dog off one morning as he was set to be evaluated for cluster seizures, with the promise that they would be calling with any news as well as when it was okay to pick him back up. I received neither call, and when I called to ask if I would be able to pick him up anytime soon as I knew they were closing shortly, I was told that he has been ready but now he will have to stay overnight because they are closing. I informed them I never received a call or message that he was ready, and they acknowledged they ‘were busy and must’ve forgotten’. Then I tried to get answers on his seizures and was told they would call the next day. Again, received no such call. I called them toward the end of the day to ask what to do, and the dr seemed hesitant like they hadn’t even looked into it. I asked if we would be starting a new medication, he said probably, I asked which one, and how much it would be and he said I’m not sure I’ll look into it and call you back. This is now two days into my dog having cluster seizures with no resolution or information. Finally the next day a medication was prescribed, and I started the process of switching vets. The new vet requested his records from four rivers, and called me a couple days later to say they hadn’t heard back, and asked that I request them for the new vet. I did so, provided fax number and email to send them to, and months later, they still have not received his records after many more requests. I have had this exact issue when it comes to getting his medications refilled. I will spare the details as this is already far too much information, but ultimately they rarely reply to ANY requests whether from another vet, a pharmacy, or myself, and when they finally do after hounding them, there is usually not enough communication between the staff to make sure it was done correctly or completely. My dog has run out of important medications multiple times due to a lack of response or incompetence from this vet, regardless of how far in advance the request is made. I am clearly beyond frustrated in the apparent lack of care for my animal, and while they are friendly, it doesn’t not make up for the potentially dangerous situations they have put my dog in, and the incredibly frustrating situations they have put me in. For simple check ups, I’m sure they are great, but anything beyond that I recommend looking elsewhere.

I took my 2 dogs in for a nail trim and a check up and all the staff was absolutely wonderful! My boy Mo's nails were very overgrown and the handled him so gently when he was trying so hard to get away. They talked so sweetly to both dogs and handled them with such care while they were nervous. And the cost for both dogs was much lower than I would have expected. It was a truly wonderful experience and I will decfinetly be going back!

My dog, Teeny, ruptured her uterus and had an infection. The vet assured me he would do everything he could to help her, and he did and I’m extremely grateful. The entire staff are helpful and nice.

Friendly to us and to the girls. One of our dogs is old and had an ear infection so she smells bad, but they were just as understanding as they could be. Both were treated quickly and professionally. I recommend this staff and veterinarian.

Didn't have services here, picked up stray and asked if they could scan him for a chip. She was very friendly and came out to my truck to scan the dog. She took my name and number and told me I could email them a picture of the dog and she would have their lady post it on their Facebook (which at the time of this review has not been done, actually it looks like they don't post much info on their Facebook page). None the less the office was clean, girl that helped me was nice.

Worst vet I have ever been to!! I have brought home 8 out of 10 puppies home in a body bag, the gross negligence of these people is disturbing somebody needs to get them shut down and I'm hope I'm the one to do it

Four rivers is a very reliable veterinarian center. In 2020, my family's pet Chiwinnie (Wiener dog + Dachshund) began vomiting uncontrollably, and we were really concerned. We went here and dropped our dog off then came back after about half an hour and she was feeling better than ever. She lived a healthy life until we lost her in late 2020. May her soul rest in peace.
