I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman that assisted us.. all I can say is that even though they did not carry what we were actually looking for (a generator cover), he went above and beyond to try and help us! I work in retail and for someone to try to assist us to that degree was amazing!! It was a Saturday morning and they didn't open until 10am.. we got there at about 15 minutes before. (We thought they opened at 9) This gentleman came out as we were walking back to our vehicle to let us know it would be about 10 minutes. We decided to wait. 5 minutes later he came and waved us in. Then proceeded to give the best customer service I have received in YEARS!!!

I go to Ace a lot and only have 3 small issues. First, many items that you may be looking for are out of stock. Second, many small parts, o-rings, etc. are in the wrong bins. Third, they have a Rewards program but NEVER ask for your phone number. They need better inventory control, but I'm glad we have Ace here.

This place is very hardware-y. The hardwares are very hard. They have many wares. I prefer the hard ones...except for the bunjee straps, Pringles, paint, brushes, roller covers, and many other useful items found here that are not hard. If you have a question about what they have or something related to a home project you have going on they are very knowledgeable and if you call them they can potentially help. I don't like rating things but these people have helped me MANY times.

Went to Ace after I got a TV wall mount for free but it had all the nuts and bolts missing. I brought up the manual on my phone that listed all the material and the associate (can't remember his name) made quick work of finding everything. He was very attentive and should get a raise! I even had to go back later and he got right back to it helping me again. Excellent staff!

I never quite feel like I'm welcomed in this store. However, they are pleasant enough and have a good knowledge of where their product is located. Additionally, Ace products are more expensive than other places I frequent looking for hardware. I can't put my finger on any specific problem but I do not enjoy shopping at this specific Ace store.

Have been doing business at this store for years. Always excellent service. Prices are competitive with Home Depot, Lowes, etc., so no benefit to leaving Barnesville to shop elsewhere (unless it's for something not carried by Ace). Personnel there are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I normally don't shop here always thought they were higher priced. But they are not too bad. The Barnesville store they are very help and polite. I was in the store for pretty long time, I noticed couple of times someone was watching me,cause I was all over the place. I have alot of projects going on and needed different things, so it didn't bother me and a small town I understood and it didn't bother me. But anyway it's a good place to stop and visited.Thanks for reading

I love how they greet us when we walk in the door and they're right there see if you need help . Plus they're selling chicken now shrimp fish sandwiches plates mashed potatoes jambalaya okra you name it we've got it

Ace hardware is a good place to go to for starter plants for gardens, has everything in the store for DIY projects from plumbing to household cleaning supplies, and everything in between, but no food items, they have a large parking area, handicapped parking spots, wheelchair accessible, & friendly, helpful workers.

Their jingle is “Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man” but this Ace Hardware is not. They make you yell for assistance while 5 of the employees stand by the cash register when I clearly asked them to show me where the item i needed was. The “owner” walked me out of the door after I purchased my stuff like it was a problem that I needed help finding my stuff. I could have gotten better service at Walmart.

Pretty awful and very very limited inventory with just a lot of miscellaneous junk that looks like it has been there since 1950! The advertisements for "your local ACE Hardware " store that you see on TV look awesome.....but this place has not changed since the 50's and looks like it.

This place is horrible! A family member went here and got a 180 dollar weed eater walked to the parking lot, put gas in, and crunk it up. Its wasn't sounding right and it was leaking gas. They tryed to return it only to be told it could not be returned and was sent across town to have it serviced. This just isn't good business and wont be getting anymore of mine.
