I love shopping at Winn Dixie. That said, every time I shop there it’s not a great experience at the checkout. The cashiers either ignore me or talk to another employee. After ringing up the groceries, there done. Today was one of those days. She packed up my groceries and turned to her phone. No thank you, have a good day, nothing. I had to put my bags in my cart as she was texting. Winn Dixie needs better employees if they want me to shop there on a regular basis.

Last trip was great. "John" the cashier was very courteous and helpful. ..The trip before that was awful. Two cashier s and bag person were having a loud personal conversation and did not say a word to me. They were too much into their drama.

They have great meat deals and the discount card will come in handy! The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Some of the freshest meat in town. It's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for and don't ever have to worry about getting bad meat. The seafood is also very fresh and the prices aren't that bad. Once again, you get what you pay for. If you want great quality, I recommend shopping here. Also they steam seafood for you. My favorite seasoning is the Mild Cajun and Hot Cajun.

I, consumer Erick Backey, as a natural person, have received injury due to the assistance store manager and produce employee are literally removing outdated, brown color meats and the likes thereof, rewrapping that same meats and putting new dates and prices. and yet, says it is fresh..That is false and misleading and many health code violations..CFR, Truth In Lending, OSHA, EPA, etc....etc..etc..Witnessing that caused My to have a mental breakdowns.

I really like to come in and get things from WinnDixi when I have the extra cash to afford it. I find that they are very high prized on all their stuff. So I do not go in here amd shop for groceries. Maybe just to pick one or two items up of needed when i get off work because my grocery store of choice is in another town. It is very clean however and the staff are always friendly. Just when u live on a budget and have a big family watching your prices and spending is a must.

I went to the deil and ask for the 10 piece of chicken special. She didn't know about it. So I showed it to her on my smartphone. But she didn't know what to do since she didn't have enough of chicken for the order. She went to ask the manager what to do. She came fried the chicken and boxed it up. It supposed to be 5 drumsticks and 5 thighs but it was 4 thighs 6 drumsticks. By the way I live over 20 miles away from this store. She very polite and cursity!

Quick cash back in 50 dollar increments definitely has come in handy more than once... oh yeah and they carry my favorite soda, tropical check soda.. great for the summer or there winn dixie signature brand named prestige ice cream in my favorite flavor heavenly hash!

Terrible. I bought a few items. So that I could cash a checkI was first told that I could use my charge card or check to get cash backI went through all that and then told that I had to use debit. Your staff needs to be educated on this. There also needs to be a sign so that I dont hold up myself, your staff and customers waiting and sighing

BEWARE the "buy one get one free" items are never really "buy one get one free", and they are bad about putting the wrong price on an item. My elderly mother has been overcharged many times. Over the summer she bought a tenderloin that was "supposedly" buy one get one free. The tenderloin was marked around $15.00, so it should've been $7.50 per tenderloin. They charged her twice, so she ended up paying $30.00 for two tenderloins. When asked to correct the mistake, the male manager told her that due to COVID 19 they were not issuing refunds, and could not help her. My mother even asked if she could just get two more tenderloins to correct the mistake, and he would not let her.Every other week she is being overcharged something. Last week, she bought soup that was $4.89 per item, and was "buy one get one free" which would've made the soup $2.45 apiece. They did not scan right and it charged my mother $4.89 per soup which meant my mother basically paid $10.00 for two cans of soup. My mother presented the problem to one of the managers and politely asked him to fix the issue, so other people would not be overcharged. He rudely responded, “I don't see what the problem is, it is really only a few dollars, so it will be okay." Honestly, this would not be a huge problem if it wasn't a weekly occurrence, but it happens all the time and majority of the cashiers do not care. It has happened with coffee, cereal, milk, ice cream, pop tarts, makeup, soap, detergent etc. You name it, we’ve been mischarged for it. And YES it is an issue as my parents are coming into their retirement years and shop on a budget as they are trying to save up. Every dollar does count, elsewise MR. MANAGER refund my mom the money out of your paycheck if it’s “only a few dollars.” This is essentially the same as stealing because other people probably do not check their receipt and do not know that they are being mischarged. I’m not sure if this is a problem due to carelessness or if the store is overcharging intentionally to keep their doors open.They are also terrible about removing expired items. We have seen items that have expired over a year ago, and when we tried to move the item to the side or place them on the bottom of the shelf, the employees would just put it back on the same shelf.The only good thing I have to say about Winn Dixie is about their employees who have been there for years. There is an older lady (who I think may be an assistant manager) I wish I knew her name, but regardless she has been working there a while. She is always quick to help and correct a mistake. I hate that it has come to this as my mother has been a loyal customer of Bainbridge, Georgia’s Winn-Dixie for nearly 25 years, and probably spends well over $100 on groceries at this store per week. However, my mother only shopped there to get her items at the sale price, but if she is going to pay regular price she can save herself the time and effort and just shop at Wal-Mart, or drive to Publix where she will receive a better shopping experience.-signed an immensely angry daughter

I like shopping at the store. The prices are pretty good, their meat looks good and there are tags on the gluten-free products on the shelves that state they are gluten free. This is awesome! Have fun shopping!

You now have to download an app to get the sales. This app does not pull up the necessary bar code. I don't usually take my phone inside the grocery store either. I find this entire system highly inconvenient and inefficient.

Great meat and produce. People actually come out to help. Management is attentive. I am finding multiple sale items to be out of date . Grocery . Meat . Dairy . I do not care for the buy 2 , get 1 free sales. Friendly staff eager to help.
