The manager of this store is very friendly and helpful. Every time I go in here he's hard at work. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I met one of the young employees yesterday Chris a very friendly, smart and pleasant young man to talk to. I love this store my favorite in Decatur County.

Everytime a black person goes in this store to shop the key holder Robert leaves his register and follows them to the aisle. This is the worst store to shop at. It's a shame you can't go in shop in peace. He needs to learn that not everyone steals and that's really like a form of discrimination towards blacks and he needs to really chill out with this behavior

With so many Dollar General Stores popping up, the new staff I've encountered are not as personable as the staff used to be. The garbage at the entrances is often overflowing, which detracts from the store's appeal. I have also found the lighting outside new stores to be insufficient. I don't feel safe after dark, so I limit my visits to daytime or to older locations with better lighting.

Now when I go in the store the workers no longer speakTheres also no diversity. We live in a diverse neighborhood and there's only White Females working in the storeI ask a question every cashier answers me like I'm not suppose to ask them a questiin.Giving my area I'm afraid that there's a bit of racism.Next time I enter the store I will take names of the Cashier's and Manager who we Always speak to but never speak Back.Changes need to be made and there needs to be more diversity.And if it doesntd it will not take long to make my complaint Nationsl.A

They have so much to choose from almost everything you could imagine that you can leave for your household or other has been found inside the Dollar General and it's very cheap and affordable prices

FILTHY STORE... no shopping carts 8nside or out front... Stood a full 5 minutes while cashier put away stock while continuing stating "I'll be right there" another person from back saw line and came up....

Be careful driving and parking in the parking lot of Dollar General on East Shotwell Street, across from Hibett Sports. The parking lot has no lines.
