Such a beautiful experience at this facility. Is it a highly commercialized place with tons of bells and whistles? The answer is NO, but to me, THIS place is just what it’s intended to be which is a community supported dog grooming facility that TRULY loves animals!Ms Christine is a true gem. She handled my very skittish-scary chihuahua with care, recognized her triggers and made extra efforts to calm her anxiety. If you are expecting some overpriced, highly commercialized dog groomer, then DON’T come here, go to Petsmart or the other spots. If you want a down home vibe and a groomer that takes the time to TALK and LEARN about your fur baby, then THIS is your spot!

Love my dog was the best. I didn't know where to take my baby. She needed a bath, cut and nails trimmed. From the first phone call it was pleasant. I was able to book an appointment and she has reasonable prices. My baby went in looking like shaggy and came out with a new attitude for the summer. Lol. She treated Girlfriend so nice and sweet. I couldn't let the day go by without bragging about how awesome she is. Thank you for not only your great service but listening to me and making my baby look so good.

I think Love My Dog owned by Christy is the Best. She is so kind and her setting is very intimate and cozy for a pet grooming salon. I like the way she treats my dog Bailey and gives him a nice hair groom and makes him smell so good. I will recommend anybody looking for a pet groomer try Love My Dog in downtown Austell.

I have been going to Love My Dog grooming for over 12 years which started with my other dog who was a Yorkie and now my current dog who is a Shih Tzu and I simply love the care and attention that Christy gives to each and every client. Coming here is a little out-of-the-way from me but so worth it

Pretty decent treatment other than the fact that she didn't even let us inside. She told us it was bc there was a cat inside that would probably "distract" him but he's very calm and well behaved. I've never gone to a groomer that would perform services outside in the middle of December. Don't know if she felt unsafe but I'm pretty sure everyone else has received their services inside without it feeling rushed or awkward. Definitely won't be back.

I have been using Love my dog for years. I have never had a problem and I absolutely love the work that Christy does. She gets Maggie in and out. Other places take hours. This place I think the longest I ever waited was 3 hours and that is still not bad. Christy goes above and beyond. Rules are simple and easy. Will continue with love my dog for as long as I have the need! Great job Christy! Keep on doing the great work you do!

Be careful when booking an appointment at this facility. I had booked an appointment a week in advance and was told to drop my dog off between 8 am and 9 am. When we got there at 8:15 on Saturday morning, I was told my dog was too active and he might disturb the other animals if he were in a kennel for 6 hours. First of all, I had expected him to be groomed first due to the time frame I was given and 2nd- was never told my dog would be in a kennel for 6 hours!!!! I just turned and left. She changed her mind when we got there because she didn’t want to deal with my YOUNG dog. I have since scheduled an appointment for grooming with my vet. I’d rather pay more money for service. As far as I’m concerned, she lied to me from the start. My parents also had a bad experience here. Will not recommend.

I found this place on Google and seen that it had an 4.5. Called this morning to check for pricing and availability. The call went okay , wasn’t too sure if I really wanted to take him to get his nails trimmed afterwards due to the questioning and the instant NO because he’s a 10 month pit . Super sweet and calm btw . So she decided to trim them . Arrived for our appointment( didn’t even get to go inside of the building) she met us outside and trimmed his nails in 30 degree weather. I’m not sure we weren’t welcomed to come inside but it was a very uncomfortable feeling. I actually wanted to look around possibly shop . I’m not sure if it’s a race thing or what but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place anymore . Thanks for the nail trimming that was rushed due to it being extremely cold OUTSIDE .

This place is wonderful. They always take care of my two dogs when they need a trim or cut. I wouldn’t take my babies any where else.Always accommodating, professional and kind to me and my babies!!! They always come out looking good and smelling good.When my babies are out with me people ask me where I get them trimmed and with no hesitation I refer them here.You should definitely give them a try if you are in need of a groomer!

I found Kristy based on a recommendation from a friend and have taken my dog regularly for over 2 years now. I highly recommend her. I have a cavapoo who has high maintenance grooming needs, and a shy personality. Kristy is so good with catering to her needs and making her feel safe. She never minds going, and is happy after! Kristy has gone out of her way before to schedule me and work me in during non-busy times because she knows Ruby's preferences. She even discovered an ear infection and alerted me so I could get her checked out. Not to mention she is very reasonably priced. A good value and a great experience = Perfect in my book :)

Christy did a PHENOMENAL job with my baby girl. Due to a traumatic past she has not dealt well with new people. I was very reluctant to take her and leave her with a stranger but I’m so glad I did! Not only did Christy do an amazing job with my little fur baby but she took the time to make sure she was comfortable with her before I left the parking lot. And when I came to pick her up she ended up giving her see ya later kisses which she never does with strangers! Thank you so much for treating my baby well, contributing to her healing, and having her looking fabulous! You gained a new lifetime monthly customer.I drove an hour off of recommendation for this groomers and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my baby girl! The pricing is more than reasonable and she works quickly and proficiently. Thanks again Christy and see you next month!

I have two toy poodles, which I've taken to Love My Dog Grooming since 2014, because they receive such excellent care. I first took them, because the location was near my home at the time. I since moved about 40 miles away, but we continue to use Love My Dog, because my dogs' grooming is perfect every time. It's worth the drive to see my dogs bathed, groomed, and happy each time they leave. l can't imagine taking them anywhere else.

Overall the worst experience I've had with a groomer. Giving 2 stars instead of one because other people have left a lot of good reviews and maybe I just caught the owner on a bad day. I called ahead and made the owner aware of my dogs issues (anxiety and age) she assured me all would be fine and she would have my old man looking great. She took my dog inside and before I could even leave the parking lot she called me and told me she couldn't do it because he's to anxious. Wouldn't recommend
