I went to the pet store to see about some toys for my bird and met the owner Terry and she was awesome then I looked around and fell in love with a baby cockatiel that I knew I was going to give a home to and the rest is history .this store has a wonderful family feel the animals ❤️ are loved and I am so glad I stopped in to take a look you won't be disappointed they know about birds 😊 and they have a great variety of all kinds of birds and animals 😊 this baby's name is SUNSHINE 🌞 and she's mine!!

I’d like to address these negative reviews, as someone who has been going to Diego’s Animart since I was in diapers. Now that I’m older I went to get a pet from him, he had axolotls and I got my dream pet on my birthday. Those of you who know how expensive axolotls are, I want to let you know that he sold me my axolotl adolescent for 90 dollars (the price was on the tank). He was about 4 1/2 inches when I got him June of 2022. I walked out with all the supplies I needed, my axolotl accompanied with a freeze pack so he’d be nice and cool for the car ride, and a discounted tank (was the last in stock), for less than 200 dollars. The staff was so very friendly, so observant and made sure to tell me anything I wanted to know. THOSE BIRDS everyone keeps talking about have skin conditions that cannot be cured and there are signs that explain why. They are happy and healthy, they just have really bad bird eczema basically. He’s had them and loved them for years, that’s why they are in the BIRD NURSERIES. The reptiles are fine, he takes personal care of them when he can and his employees do wonderful jobs. For those of you mad about prices, A) they are EXOTIC pets what did you expect, B) Diego’s prices are absurdly low compared to any where else you’d might go to get a quality pet. He and his employees raised these pets with love and attentive care. But sure, go to the big box stores where all the pets are actually dying from mistreatment, while you disrespectfully comment on a man who has been putting all his efforts into loving these creatures since before half of you guys were born. Much love for you this place! thank you for being awesome and loving these creatures. Below I’ve posted pics of my axolotl his name is Gumball and he’s doing wonderfully! He’s a chunky boi and now a whopping 7 1/2 inches!

Took our little ones in to look around, and let them see some really cool animals. They've been asking for a pet so it was a great opportunity for them to check out different things and learn about the upkeep and the health and what all goes into having an addition to the family. It wouldn't just be a pet, it would be another family member. We got some great information and will be back to make our decision. This little place is awesome! ❤️ You can tell the animals are loved.

This place has beautiful birds and parrots. They also spend a lot of time training and playing with their parrots. I’ve recently bought my blue Indian ring neck from them and my baby is a sweetheart. She’s very tame and she gets along with everyone. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a parrot. The owners Terri and Diego are very sweet and friendly with everyone.Diego went out of his way to find me my parrot since I only wanted a BLUE Indian ring neck.

Absolutely love animart pets. by my feeders from them every week and have actually bought a bearded dragon from them. All reptiles are quarantined and fed premium food. Top of the line feeders that eat better than most people. Plus if you need assistance with your birds they are the place to go

Been going here for years and will continue to do so. Diego and Terri are some of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met when it comes to their animals and they honestly feel like family at this point. Amazing prices you won't find anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

Great place. They have awesome pets. The prices depend on what you’re buying are a bit high. But the store is clean as it possibly could be for the size of the store. They are very well educated on animal life. I definitely do like that they do have the turtle out and about.

Best pet store ever. The owners are amazing and know what they are talking about. They are more concerned with making pets happy and affordable than they are about overcharging for everything. I've never found cheaper reptile supplies in my life.I love this store!

This was a great experience for me and my son all exotic pets reptiles, great fish selections, and birds. The staff was friendly and the owner has a few pets of her own in the store like a huge tortoise.

Well established exotic pet store that always has something different. Store is a bit busy but when you've been in business for as long as they have in the same location that can happen. The service is always great and they are all very knowledgeable. They have great places for food in the adjacent suites as well.

Teri & Diego Rock!!! It's always a joy, and I mean JOY visiting their awesome shop! I hadn't been in about 3 years, as I moved away. But I'm closer now and needed some feeders for my snakes. I used to drive all the way out to Cartersville for some. I fell in love with a rescue parakeet and now he's home with me. Teri & Diego's heart is truly in this place and it shows 💜

Diego is seriously so sweet. I called panicking last night about my new axolotls i got from a breeder, and he told me to come into the store on my way home from work tomorrow. When i got there he spent so much time explaining everything to me and walked me through everything. He answered every question I had and made so many great recommendations. Went into this store for the first time today, I'm shopping around for birds. They have an amazing bird there that I'm interested in. The first lady took the time to ask me what I'm searching for, and showed me a great little baby. The owner took his time explaining their process, and told me about the care they have in there birds. Even though I have PLENTY of experience hand feeding, they won't allow the birds to leave until it's weaned.

If you love parrots this place is a must visit! We buy our rats (for our snake) and crickets from here (bearded dragon). They have alot of other animals for sale. The owner is really nice!

Everyone working was very attentive, knowledgeable, and just plain awesome.From stock I couldn't find anywhere else for my beardie to crashing a 'birdie tea party' in the back - I legit, happily spent at least an hour there and will definitely return.Thanks guys!

Visiting from NY. I Purchased a rat for my snake. My kids loved the shopping experience, all the pets to see and even physically interact with. It was like a free Zoo visit for my family. Staff is friendly and very inquisitive. Easy parking and attractive curb appeal. Cool refreshing beverages for purchase near the register.
