This Walgreens is by far the best pharmacy that I have used. I tried there competitors for a while and I had to come back. As far as the staff they are great and they show concern about your needs. I so far have received my medication as promised.I would definitely recommend this Walgreens.Thanks H.B

The worst pharmacy to say the least! I have been using this pharmacy since it opened. It is very convenient to my home but that is the only positive point.The pharmacy employees are by far the rudest. Placing online refills is a nightmare because I refil for a 90 day supply which has the same cost of a 30 day supply. Needless to say when my husband picks up the meds it's a 30 day supply. When calling to correct the issue, a rep informed me to check meds and count before I leave. How about you follow the freakin Rx order? You get automated calls regarding prescriptions that weren't requested but the meds you did request are still processing. Sick of this Walgreens but they are convenient and there's not a wide selection of pharmacies nearby.Please double check your Rx before leaving the store.

There is never a time when our prescriptions are due that there is not some type of problem at this Walgreens. Today I sat at the Drive Thru for 5 minutes without someone waiting on me. After several attempts calling inside to the Pharmacy someone finally waited on me. When I got home I discovered they had charged me and given me a prescription I canceled five days ago. For five days I have received phone calls and texts reminding me my prescription was ready and when I go to pick it up they don’t want to wait on me. WALGREENS ON PEACH ORCHARD ROAD REALLY SUCKS.

Very disappointed.. we have used this pharmacy since it was built near my mothers home and never have we experienced such poor communication between a pharmacist and patient. 1. They lost her prescription.. we sat there about 20 mins waiting for them to find it. 2. The prescription they found was the wrong prescription. She called that morning and said she no longer wanted this medication due to her being hospitalized for it a month or so ago.. but this is the prescription they gave her. They did not confirm what medication she was getting or anything. Then when she called they said she can not get her money back. I am calling to speak to a manager tomorrow but as of tonight I am highly upset!

I have called 20 times and got hung up on! They need a better system! They have you on hold and pick it up then put you on hold several times before they hang up! This happened today! Barney’s would never!!

I just got off the phone with the pharmacist and he was complaining and completely disrespectful!!!!! Although his excuse was ( This is the busiest pharmacy in Augusta! ) well now I’m on hold with corporate…..

After couple of days day prior to me going to pickup med after calling Walgreens automated line which said my prescription was ready for pickup. The medicine was not ready. Tried calling again to speak with representative, the phone kept picking up numerous times and placed back on the line where song is playing. Not good customer service.

This has got to be the worst Pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Rude staff, on hold for 20 minutes, wait at the drive-through 30 minutes maybe somebody should think about hiring more staff. Or maybe when they remodeled a few months ago, made the pharmacy bigger. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

I can’t say that I’ve always had a positive experience at this location, but I can’t say today that it was awesome. Dessie has the best customer service skills and she had a smile to my entire visit. This associate is a Walgreens!!

Worst cashiers they can’t count money. Cashier short me on my change I bought it to her attention and she made it seem like she gave me the correct change even after the proof is on the receipt. Manager just as dum he made me wait while he counted the draw and check the system in the back just to come back and tell her to give me the change owed. I then said I was right about the change owed and him and her looked at me stupid. Employers are just hiring anybody

This Walgreens has been crossed off my list after years of loyalty...The entire staff in the pharmacy has changed and I'm following wherever they went.Brittany is not someone you would hire for working with the public.. Disrespectful and rude . That will definitely be a deal breaker for me...Bye bye Walgreens 😩 Are the pickings that slim for new hires?

I will never set foot in this Walgreens again. Why would anyone expect to not be able to get their prescriptions filled at 730 when they close at 11? Now I’m left with an awful ear infection, in pain, and got cussed at and ran out of the store for being upset. UNPROFESSIONAL probably the worst experience at a pharmacy ever. No employee should ever “confront” a customer for having a negative opinion of their business.

2022-11: Not exactly a huge fan of this Walgreen's. However, when you're in a bind and need a prescription unexpectedly at the most inopportune time, I was thankful there was a 24 hour pharmacy somewhat close by. Thankfully, its been awhile since a situation like that happened. Knock on wood.

My Walgreens is the best!! The staff is AWESOME. I got a call today from the Pharmacist asking me how I was doing on my new medicine. Now that really made me feel great know that they really do careAlso the lady's that always check me out in the pharmacy are always so very sweet.So I want to give them.all a very big Thank You so much for all Y'all do for me and my dad.

Went in to return a package (FedEx) not knowing I couldn'tA rep walked out of the isle, saw me standing there but went back to stocking. After about 5 more mins, I walked over to where she was and asked for help. She couldn't help me so she called for back up. I was then told I had to go a center not a drop-off/pick-up site. I asked where the closest one was. The older lady told me but I told her Thanks but I know nothing about this area and began to walk off. I guess it was funny bc the younger one laughed. Sadly, I still have to return these people equipment. Guess today was not my day

I went in yesterday since I needed an item that I knew was on sale. When I walked in I was greeted with a “Good Morning” from across the room. It was easy to find what I needed so I was in and out. Checkout was pretty nice since the women at checkout was probably the nicest person I’ve ever met. She set the tone for my day and I have to say that her kindness didn’t go unnoticed.While the outside of the building is in need of some TLC I’d have to say that this is a case of don’t judge a book by its cover. I’d go here over and over again just to have similar encounters.

Where do I start. I don’t take time out to post reviews, I’m a firm believer in if you don’t like the business or establishment just don’t return. However for this unjust experience, I had to make an exception. I went through the drive thru to have 2 prescriptions filled. I noticed they took a little longer than usual to come to the windows with my medicine. Tarez which I was told is the pharmaceutical manager appeared at the window & asked if the copy I had was the only copy. I responded with yes. His was response was “Since the prescription was not written in the immediate area, we can’t fill it”. I asked if he needed verification from the doctor , and Tarez response was “No mam, we don’t. We just can’t fill it.” I drove off and said to myself, well maybe he didn’t understand my situation so let me go inside to have a conversation. When I went inside I explained to him that I got into a car accident in Atlanta & I reside in Augusta. His response was “I can fill the ibuprofen, but not the one containing codeine, because its a little controlled substance (Tylenol/codeine) & I don’t feel comfortable”. I questioned but I didn’t argue because I really needed the medicine due to my condition. I asked him a question to see what kind of response I would get , and asked “is there a policy saying you don’t have to fill the prescription” he said there was. Then I asked if he could show me , he told me he couldn’t. Mind you the law that was passed in 2001 is public information. 10 mins passed as I was waiting on my ibuprofen, he then placed the prescription on the counter saying “he can’t fill the prescription for either.” I asked for a valid/ moral reason and his response was “It’s just best”. When I pulled my phone to record for my own personal record I asked again for a valid reason and his response was “mam , I can’t give you another reason other than the 1, I just gave a few minutes ago”. Both prescriptions were written from the same doctor, both were on the same kind of paper, and both prescriptions applied to applicable state laws. He agreed to do 1 , then made a decision to not do the ibuprofen either. When I asked for a moral reason, he could not provide it and told me “The only thing I can say is ,I apologize for any inconvenience and we are not able to fill your prescription”. Then he mentioned he did not give me consent to record him, that’s when I knew he was either not knowledgeable of pharmaceutical laws and state laws or he assumed I wasn’t knowledgeable. After Tarez laughed in my face and didn’t want to give me a moral reason for denying to fill the prescription after agreeing he would , he told me to leave. So I ended up calling law enforcement to have a civil conversation. Due to the police officer not being familiar with Code 480-5-03, he asked Tarez if he could just fill the ibuprofen. His response to the police officer was “I just would rather not”. Since the officer was not familiar with the law , he did his part & provided a solution for me to go to another pharmacy. I left and went to CVS down the street , and both prescriptions were filled after the manager simply made a phone call to verify.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to get their prescriptions filled at this Walgreens they have horrible customer service all in all... cashier Angel Solaro acted like a spoiled child in need of a time out during my interaction there Jackie the pharmacist straight out lied and I don't believe my report regarding the problem with their customer service made any difference. I recommend if you do have to pick up any prescriptions here and have an issue please call corporate they're keeping records

Very busy location so extremely long wait time just to drop off your prescriptions. Doesn't matter what time or what day of the week you will wait in line for at least 15 to 20 minutes to either drop off or pick up your prescription not including it will be at least 2 or 3 hours for them to fill them. Trust me make the effort to drive a few miles down the road to go to another Walgreens.

Pleasant and helpful staff that went out of their way to assist me in the middle of the night. I'll gladly pass a CVS to give my business to an out of the way Walgreens. This store really knows what customer service is unlike the people I left at CVS that treated me like I was a hassle to them. Thank you for getting it right, Walgreens.

Horrible customer service in pharmacy. Doesn’t care about you getting your m divine in a timely manner. The 1 star I did give is for one of the pharmacy techs name Destiny. She had great customer service. The pharmacist was rude and told me I could go elsewhere to get my husband’s medication!

Wouldn't normally post whether good or bad. Today is different. Really nice store personnel. Pharmacy not as good. I was given medication that was labeled different than what was originally purchased and stapled to the outside of the bag. While driving, I opened the bottle and took two of what i assumed i purchased. Long, short, I was given sleeping medication (ambien) I put a major dent in my car while slamming into a guard rail on the interstate. Thank God, noone was injured. I have plenty witnesses and pictures but not once did I get an apology.The only statement i received was " Oh we know who filled that" and "You need to pay for the ones you took" Apologizing does not admit guilt.

I have been using this Walgreens location for two years and they are always out of the same medication I have been taking for the past two years. Every month it’s a battle just to get my medication for me and my two children.

What can you expect from a supermarket that's open 24 hours a day? There's enough here to get you by in a pinch. You can find pretty much everything you need in the house to get you around. There are hoards of cleaning supplies. Cleaning supplies range from floor mops to wipes. Detailing your sink has never been easier.The ironic thing here is that they choose not to detail their sink. The men's bathroom didn't have paper towels. Also, it looked dingy in general. The sink had rust and it didn't looked like it has had attention in a very long time.One thing is for sure, sugar is aplenty here. You can find whatever candy your heart desires. There are bags upon bags. They have candy for the seasons. There is candy for adults and candy for children. There's candy for everyone! Don't forget to pick up your prescription for diabetes. You'll need it later.I saw a line for their pharmacy. It looks like they're always busy. It's probably hard working there since this establishment has so much foot traffic.

I was so thankful they had my prescription in Stock to be filled. I had a bad experience with the North Augusta store not having the medication in Stock and they didn't give an alternative method of choosing another store location or just calling me to see if I wanted to wait until the next day for a possible delivery of the medicine. Peach Orchard Road location was a Godsend

This is the worst pharmacy in Augusta. Thier customer service is horrible. Told me it would be an hour, I told her we would wait, we left and came back 2 hours later for it to still not be ready. This will be the last time we ever go here. Walgreens corporate should fire everyone in this location and start over.

Great pharmacy; all are personable and provide great service. Pharmacist Terrize always goes out his way to help customers. Great to have the expired medication disposal bin.
