They make and cancel appointments and keep poor records of the appointments. Staff was not pleasant at all. The receptionist is very unprofessional. The website is not credible. From the second time I've booked an appt with grooming there has been nothing but problems getting in. This morning appt was moved from today to June 6th without a call or anything til this morning the day of the appt. Before that appt was cancelled due to a mix up with another dog. I missed the very first appt due to a personal matter. If your time is valuable and you appreciate efficiency then this is not the place for you.

I’ve used Paradise Kennels three times now for boarding my three dogs. Each time I’ve experienced great service from them. The staff does a great job communicating any concerns they’ve had during the dog’s stay. I love the climate controlled environment in their kennels and that each kennel is no contact to help reduce stress while away from home. I have no concerns for future stays with Paradise Kennels!

Great place!!! I take my shorkie poo every once in a while for a weekend break. When I pick him up he’s always super happy and the staff is welcoming and friendly. I also got his haircut and nails cut and that was also a good experience. 10/10, definitely recommend. My dog also goes next door to the hospital for all his needs.

I have had nothingness than a great experience !!! Our first puppy we got 14 months ago. They Re quick to ANSWER or offer tips.we are now awaiting for our 2nd morkie and they comec with everything.So I'm very excited for my baby.We trust paradise so .much I y my dog homeAs for ppl leaving rude remarks how about chatting to them first ??? ZThks world doesn't need any more negativity in it.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I unexpectedly had to put my Great Dane to sleep and as it wasn’t a planned thing, I had to pick someone quickly to cremate her. I chose Paradise, and I regret it every single day. They took over two weeks to have her ready for pickup, and I order nose and paw prints (additional $40!!). They gave her back to me in TWO PLASTIC URNS. I gave them one dog, and got back two urns. On top of that, the prints are smeared, horribly done, and useless. When I brought up my concerns and my hurt to the employees there, I was told by one woman “Well I didn’t do them” and “Well just buy a bigger urn from Amazon.” I would have expected this company to carry urns big enough for big dogs. That’s not a large ask. They will never see me or my pets again.

This is the place to go, I used them for boarding and while my pet was there I had my pet groomed which was long overdue. They did a wonderful job in making my experience with paradise kennels and enjoyable one. Thanks

When we had to put our sweet Rosie to rest Donovan and the team were very helpful with the cremation process. He was there on time to pick up her body and had the cremation done within a couple days. We appreciate the help they gave us during this hard time.

Please don't leave your pet in this place. I left mine few months ago and my dog when I picked it up was all dirty and she came super sick. One of my friend also had a bad experience with a reuse diaper, they never took it off and when the dog was picked up it was all nasty. If you care of your pet, this is not the place. My dog name was Zoe just in case they want to look for the record.

I used Paradise Kennels for over 25 years for boarding, grooming and cremation. I have had very positive experiences for all services. I am giving this review as I have actually used their services. I would still be using them but have relocated out of Augusta area.

If I could give negative stars I would!!!!! Ever since they decided to fire a handful of people the service has gone DOWNHILL my baby developed a rash from dirty clippers, they footed the bill and cost of med yes so I would give 1 last chance less than a week from my furbabys grooming she is developing another ans Jennifer calls herself arguing and yelling at me about it WILL NEVER RETURN!!!

Our Chase has been going to Paradise Kennels since he was 8 weeks old. He is now 3 years old and gets just as excited to visit (like seeing old friends). We have used them for boarding and grooming and I have always felt comfortable knowing that he’s in great hands.

Disappointed to say the least. I used their crematory services when my little ratty passed. When I dropped him off Donovan was more than helpful and greatly explained the process and what to expect. I filled out the form with my rats name and everything was fine. I when I picked up his remains his name was misspelled not only on the death certificate but the paw print as well! This is a careless mistake that was 100% avoidable.I called Paradise kennels and asked if I can get another certificate. They where apologetic and said of course. I dropped off the certificate Friday 4/7/23 and was told I’d get a call back the following Monday. It’s now 4/19/23 and I’ve yet to get any call. I called last Wednesday and was put on hold then hung up on. This is unprofessional and careless. If they’re this careless about typing I’d never entrust them with my pets.04/21/23 update: I went in to pick up the corrected certificate and unsurprisingly the certificate was misspelled AGAIN. I asked them to pull up the original form I filled out when I had dropped off my deceased pet and to copy what is written on that form. This is careless and unacceptable.

My 7 year old rescue 60lb puppy had excellent care for 50 days. She was so happy to be home. Once she discovered her favorite toy, she zoomed around and used her toy like a pillow.

The staff was very professional and kind when we dropped off Panda for cremation. They didn't rush us at all. They explained everything that would take place and how we would receive him back. I was very please with how we received our poodle, the certificate and the paw print. Selling the lock of hair I had asked for made me cry. Donovan took very good care of our baby! Would recommend their cremation services to anyone.

We have brought our rescue german Sheppard to paradise ever since we got here last year. The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable. We picked up her today 6-17-2023 and she was happy and thy ever put a bandana on her made her look even more adorableIf your looking for the best kennel is the Csra you have found it.

I don’t trust the staff at paradise kennels. I picked my girls up today after a 5 day stay and they failed to inform me that one of my girls was having diarrea. I received their blankets soiled with feces and she’s refusing to eat anything. I wouldn’t bring them back.

Do not book if you appreciate flexibility of stay for your pet. I booked this reservation 2 days before my cat was supposed to stay. The next day due to extreme circumstances I had to cancel. Upon paying the deposit I was not informed that they have a rigid cancellation policy. I was looking forward to utilizing this kennel for my cat, and this seems like a decent place for him, but the customer service and empathy is lacking from management. Long story short I'm paying $100 for a stay that didn't happen. They offered to credit my account $50, but that doesn't do me any good as I am leaving the country shortly. Stay away if any of this situation might apply to you.

Sept 12. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life, Heather who works front desk is rude and disrespectful. She definitely lacks customer service skills.I dropped off my dog saying give her what she always gets, but pick her up and no cut. We have been going here for 3 years and my dog always receives the same cut.When my dog comes out today she only has bathe and brush for $120.00. And took all day ……definitely not the service I requested. I can give a bath and brush.Heather argued for 30 minutes on how she’s right on dog service , when all she had to do was check my dog’s records on her past services, and have her cut fixed. However, there was no apology whatsoever.I have requested a call to me from the owner. I hope I receive one, and I hope Heather gets the customer service training that she needs.

Terrible customer service. I made a last minute reservation for my pet because I finally got the go ahead to visit very ill family members. I got last minute orders, now I am moving out of country, so I had to cancel this reservation within 48 hours of booking it. The cancellation policy states that you need 8 days prior to your stay to cancel to be eligible for a full refund on our $100 deposit . I am aware of this, but due to the fact that this reservation was made within 36 hours of the stay I thought something could be worked out. The management team, however, doesn't care. They offered a $50 credit with them, but this does nothing to appease the situation as I am moving out of country very shortly. This place does not offer any flexibility. It makes me feel like they care more about the money than your actual pets, based on other reviews here. I personally do not recommend as there are multiple other kennels in the area that offer similar rates, but better customer care.

The staff are very friendly, and professional if they don’t have the answer they will get it for you. They also show affection to your animal as if they truly care. The only complaint I have is the vet there has a not so warm and fuzzy personality which I feel could turn people away. At first I thought maybe it was use because we have a older dog that he had to muzzle because she shows her teeth and yes I totally understand that but I told him way. She had recently been run over by a car and spent weeks in and out of the animal hospital in North Carolina . She is just scared and probably always will be. He has never tried saying here name or tried just talking to her. That’s not all we also have a Yorkie that’s as sweet as sweet can be and the Veterinarian there doesn’t talk to or treat him any different. Both My husband and I noticed how cold this vet was. But don’t get me wrong he has always diagnosed both our pets correctly and right on with any issues. Their also a little pricey on some services, but I think all vets are over priced because they know we love our pets and have no choice but to pay.

I have left my 2 dogs there a few times for boarding. They felt comfortable going back with the staff and were happy and healthy, and not to mention so excited to see us.I did see a woman leave a review that her pets are house trained and would not go in the kennel. Mine are the same, but I can tell one of them held it for quite a while. When she got home she pottied both several times. She was fine and survived. It’s not Paradise Kennels fault. I would never blame them. My girl could have went if she really had tooThis saying. I would definitely keep using this place and would recommend it to others.

My puppy is not going back to Paradise for grooming. This is the THIRD time they have done something that I did not like. I took him at 9 o’clock this morning to get groomed they told me he wouldn’t be ready until 3pm so I went home to get food because he already had not eaten that morning. I just picked him up and I check his food and I see they did not even give him the food that I brought the bag is still full just as it was when I took it to them. I had other issues when I boarded him they did not give him his medicine and another issue when the person I requested to groom him had someone else groom him. I informed them of the issue and told them the extra charges did not make sense I was told they weren’t even that expensive. The staff is rude and talks poorly about the customers and their animals, I have actually heard them talking about a certain customer when I was checking in. They are rude and could care less about our pets. They deserve a 0 and better staff.

We boarded our dog here for about 5 days. They didn't feed our dog the food we provided them and did not let her out to use the bathroom regularly. When I picked her up she was sick with kennel cough and was constipated from a change in diet and depressed. When she got home she went straight to her kennel and would not come out because she was not feeling good. They also didn't feed her the morning before we picked her up so she went approximately 15-18 hours without eating. Coupled with poor customer service I cannot recommend this place to leave your animals. If you still decide to leave them here, refuse the grooming session upon pick up to see the condition of your animals.

Paradise took great care of our two dogs for a week. This was the first time our shy pups have been kenneled and I was nervous about how they’d do, but the staff at Paradise are pros! Super friendly staff and they seemed to have no problem handling my very anxious dogs. They sent my fur babies home happy, shiny, and smelling amazing! Highly recommend!

I take my husky and German shepherd here for grooming every few months and they just ALWAYS do such a great job. They come back so soft, smell wonderful and are probably 5 lbs lighter from all the deshedding. My German shepherd is also an anxious wreck anytime we leave the house but seems to be happy here and like the employees. I board here as well and they allow my dogs to stay in the same room together.

I left my dog (6 months old) Chester here while we went on a mini vacation and he acted like he didn’t want to leave to go back home. They took great care of him and I know he had a great time! Thank you Paradise Kennels for taking such great care of my boy - we will definitely use you all again in the future.

The staff is very friendly, my dogs stayed here for about nine days while we visited family. They seem to have enjoyed themselves. One of my dogs has separation anxiety, so they probably didn't like her very much, but my boxer puppy seemed to really like the people there. I definitely recommend them, and if we have to board the pups again, I am calling them first.

We board our dogs here all the time and have had nothing but great experiences. Our dogs are rescues and a bit “high maintenance”, but the staff here is very accepting and always seem happy to see them. One of our dogs has severe separation anxiety and crate anxiety, but even he does not ever seem to mind being dropped off here! They have always been very accommodating and in some cases have gone well above and beyond.

I have been coming to this location for almost my whole life- as a child my father brought our family dog here and as an adult bring my own dog.The customer service here is always an issue for me personally but I stay because of the history my family has had with the company. I admittedly have a hyper active dog I understand this but every time she has a stay or grooming appointment there are always so many negative comments to me directly. “She is crazy” is what the young lady said to me today. No hello how are you doing she just handed me the leash and yelled out “She is crazy!”. Now I understand my dog is hyper but she isn’t aggressive, no “bad” behaviors - just VERY ENERGETIC-never any isolated incidents that have been reported to me ever while she is under their care…so the rude comments should be taken care of by management. My dog isn’t crazy, my dog is hyper and you should be used to hyper active dogs since you are employed at a dog grooming/ boarding establishment. Unfortunately this isn’t my first experience with rude behavior from staff. I work in marketing for a major company so by the looks of other reviews before mine I can see the areas of opportunity are vast. My advice- save your petty complaints, paying customers are highly offended and will take their business elsewhere. Dog groomers are easy to find in this area.
