I would not go to this location unless you're desperate. Only purchased 6 or 7 things and at least 4 of them I was over charged. When I brought it to the cashiers attention, she didn't apologize or argue with me. Just put the money back on my card. So she must know this is happening but nothing is being done. All I can say is.. BEWARE BUYERS.

I love this place. It's always neat, clean and organized. The people are friendly and its great that you can find just about anything you need if you're cooking but are missing an ingredient. Its the go to store where I buy all of my Monster energy drinks because they always have a great price.

I love the staff that is employeed at this Dollar General store. They are very kind & always helpful. My problem is that it is a newer store but is always out of products that is most needed. These same products/items ALWAYS seem to be unavailable to the consumer...no matter what day, time, week, etc. I decide to shop at this store. Yet, I constantly see new items (mostly seasonal items) getting put out and set up on store shelves. It would be nice to be able to for once not to be let down when going to this location to get a certain item that I had in mind.

Every time I go in this store the shelves are not stocked there is a line with 10 or more people waiting to check out. The manager is just standing around talking to whoever while the other cashier is checking customers out by herself past 4 times I have been in there the managers excuse for not helping get people checked out is the computer/register is down. How is it down every single week. One week it’s one register next week it’s the other register. It’s basically a new store why are you having computer problems and why aren’t they getting fixed if so. I only go in here now if I need last minute items because I know I’m gunna have to stand in line doesn’t matter the time of day there is a line. I feel sorry for the young lady that has to deal with her manager making her do all the work while she stands around and talks to people and going to the back to look for out of stock items for people she chooses to help out. I asked and got told no her friend behind me asked about and item and she went to the back to look. Ridiculous

I give this Dollar General two star , bc every time we go here , all employees are standing around when the shelves are empty. We can never walk around to find what we need there are box's in the way, So we started going to the other store up the road. Employees are nice thou. They need help with store .

Never been more impressed with a visit to a DG ANY WHERE! The two wonderful ladies working just now went above and beyond what I would call great service. Some of the most exceptional customer service I’ve received anywhere. The store no longer carries Tide stain removal pens. Since I decided I was going to show everyone how good my lunch was my spilling it all over my clothes, I needed a quick clean up before my next appointment. They could have easily sent me down to Walmart and I wouldn’t have thought twice about it. But they went in the back and got a clean rag with some soap and helped me get clean those stains out. And with the most friendly and helpful of attitudes the whole time! I don’t live in Augusta, GA but I won’t visit another retail store like DG ever again when I’m in the area simply because of these two wonderful employees.

I love this store ive been shopping with them since they were at the other store down the street i love that everything is literally cheap like you can get snacks that will last weeks just off of 5 dollars. The also have self checkout a new upgrade because they didnt have it in the old store. dont mean to be a snitch but someone came in with ebt and they gave them cashback

I have been a loyal customer of Dollar General for 9 years! I generally do not shop anywhere else and I have always been greeted by cheerful and given the best assistance by all their customer service people at the Peach Orchard Road store in Augusta, GA!!! They’re the ”Best of the Best”!!!

Customer service is horrible. Ironically the employee that I gather is the key holder, team lead, whatever did not have a name tag on has the nastiest attitude I have ever encountered. How do you tell a customer who has been waiting in line 15 minutes, "Well, you can go somewhere else."

Last night, Tues. 4/9/19, an apparent new cashier named India was eating sunflower seeds while waiting on us customers. LITERALLY SPITTING THE SHELLS FROM HWE MOUTH ININTHER HAND, TRASHED THEM, & PROCEEDED TO HANDLE ITEMS, GIVE BACK CHANGE & RECEIPTS. That is SO nasty. And her, along with the males at this store, has zero customer service. Especially the one with the short dreads. He was working with her last night at closing, also. It was the 1st time I ever heard him say anything last night. Good grief.

The store only has 2 registers to begin with, and there is only ever one open, no matter if there is 1 person in line, or 10. It sucks to only need 1 item and to be stuck behind someone with 50 items, because they dont staff the store enough to open both registers.

I went in the store to get cokes that were on sale. I looked for a flyer when I got there but there was none. There was no sale prices on cokes. There was a few other people there and they didn't know prices either. So we all just left
