I visited this store about 2:00 in the afternoon on a weekday. The store was clean and for the most part orderly and the bathrooms were very well maintained. I thought they had a good selection on fishing poles and a great lure selection. I also found that the price on the fishing products were reasonable. I enjoyed everything with the exception of one problem that I ran into. They allow customers to bring dogs into the store and then the dog owners will let their dogs rub all over you. I wish they would change this rule but other than that everything was great.

Cute little store with friendly staff. For once a Bass Pro Shop didn't have people trying to pressure me into getting a credit card, enter a drawing, or buy a timeshare. That was a huge plus!!! Would have been nice if they had a fish tank. But, I understand because the store is so small.

Cabelas is a nice place to go. They have things set up for Santa right now, they have a nice bench to sit on if your fellow shopper is taking a while and they have a large selection of Gerber knives as well. The only thing right now is that they are almost too full of merchandise which makes it hard to walk around.

Well typically I don't leave negative reviews however; in this particular experience I feel quite strongly enough about to share. 3 weeks ago I went in to kill some time and was glancing at the shotguns when another customer (female) approached me and was picking my brain about different pistols. I happily obliged and we were having a nice conversation. Shortly into our conversation the salesmen (to whom she had already spoken to) saw his way into our talking and began to give the most condensing sales pitch to this poor woman I had ever saw. I'm sure if her husband was there the counter guys tone and demeanor would've been much different. But my point is, the salesmen need a class in social interaction because this woman was talked to like she was a " less than " and not a customer.It was to the point where I was on the verge of telling the prick at the counter to buzz off and let me help her.This does not reflect upon the people running the check out lanes in the front, they have always been friendly.. Here's a thought.. let the people running the front go train the gun counter guys how they should do their job.But I think I will keep my business anywhere but Basspro, at least in Augusta.

Very pushy and rude about applying for their credit card just to get "member prices" I don't enjoy shopping while getting a long sales pitch about your credit card! I get it, employees get a commission but there's no need to be rude to a customer just because they turn it down.

Jonathan was excellent help. We took our 10 year old daughter to try out a compound bow and he spent the time with her to get her comfortable. Excellent customer service.

As a fisherman, Bass Pro is better now. And although I can't afford one, I love the new section with the bass boats. Once they get the huge aquarium, the transformation will be complete. All of us fishermen will have it stocked the first weekend!

There are lots of things I love about this place, but the Christmas tradition with Santa is the best part for our family. I really appreciate the staff, especially Bill B. and the crew over in the projectiles and yeeters section.

I try to buy all of my hunting supplies from Bass Pro or Cabela’s. I appreciate their land conservation work. My wife and I both enjoy shopping there.

My girlfriend bought a gun, my Xmas gift to her from cabelas/basspro that won't work or close with the brass in it. I would think that cabelas would do some sort of check on the gun to make sure it's functional before selling to the public, because of the return policy we now have to send it off to the manufacturer, losing more time and money, can't believe they would sell a non-working gun and then take no responsibility for it. I will never recommend or do business with this company again.

Smaller than some bass pro shops. Had the normal bass pro shop pricing on everything though. I miss Cabelas bargain cave.

If I am looking for something to do or just pass some time, I like to stop by Bass Pro Shop. Always leave with something I don't need but thoroughly enjoy. Good selection of products from top name brands.

To my 9 month old got Santa photos....he wasn't a fan of Santa but Santa & the workers taking the photos were so understanding and sweet about it. So thankful for that ❤️

My husband and I brought our toddler on a Monday night to see Santa. It was fantastic! I want to specifically commend a young elf named Tony. Because the crowd was non-existent there wasn't much for the elves and Santa to do. They could have easily ignored my daughter, but instead Tony gave her so much of his attention. He helped her "mail" her letter to Santa. He showed her the cool toys in the aisle and never once seemed annoyed or tried to rush her. He was patient and kind and let her take the lead of what she wanted to do. And when it was time for us to leave but my daughter just HAD to finish coloring her picture for Santa he picked up a crayon and asked if he could help. He colored only where she told him to ans used the colors she handed him. He even walked her over to Santa twice so that she could 1. Tell him she sent him a postcard and 2. Give him the picture she colored. Santa was fantastic as well. He was patient with my daughter who at first was unsure of him, and then patiently walked around his "village" as she pointed out all of the presents and different decorations laying around. This is the second time we've come to Cabela's for a Santa visit, and it won't be our last!

Their MENS WOOL BOOT SOCKS are $16.95 and iinconparable!!!! I bought my family HIKER5 PAIR...He wears them all winter & ANY SEASON he is doing heavy work & BOOTS..He says..COTTION. is HUGE ..NO..NO!!We live in a very humid year around area...S.C. " foothills of Smoky Mountains ."

I miss it being Cabelas. It's not quite the same as it used to be besides the obvious name change. The focus is more on boats and fishing now as opposed to hunting. That is why it was nice when they were separate entities. Bass Pro Shops was for fishing and Cabelas was for hunting. The emphasis has shifted away from firearms and hunting and it is very fishing centric now.

I went and bought me a really nice Glendale archery target yesterday the store is really nice has mostly anything that you need to do with archery firearms whatever you're into with the outdoors really nice place

Really good quality spring goods at name brand prices. This is an outpost store, so not as much as the others. The boats are off-limits for some reason. There are lots of ammo and good gun selection. Clothes are of really good quality with equally high prices. The clearance items are the only thing the average person can afford.

It's a nice little Cabela's. Just wandered around and saw what they had. I know it is an outfitters store, but I was a little disappointed at the selection of animals that the store had. Overall great place, I love these stores!

Great selection of all things outdoors! From snacks, drinks, clothes, shoes, and equipment, it's all here! Soo much to choose from. The staff was very helpful and truthful with opinions. That's what's needed when you can't decide instead of just trying to make a sale. I went in for a belt and ended up with a duck call, too. 😳

I arrived 15 minutes before closing. Talked with salesperson. They knew exactly what and where what I wanted was and had me ready to go with 6 minutes to spare. Very courteous and knowledgeable.

Walked in to buy a pair of sunglasses as a gift and walked away with two with all accessories. Colby is one of their associates who helps us and genuinely cared about educating us on the best pair and exactly what we were looking for. He gave us such an AMAZING experience! I will definitely be coming back just to buy from him. Such a great shopping experience. Best shop in town thanks to Colby. The man needs a raise!

It's smaller than a lot of Bass Pro Shop, & Cabela's I've been to.The firearm selection is shockingly lacking, And the ammo is just an absolute mess, and way overpriced. Even with how expensive is todayit is Way higher than it should be.The staff Was very nice, but not Very knowledgeable, therefore they weren't very helpful Simply because they didn't know certain things that they should know working there.The guns that they did have were priced pretty reasonably Which is a plus I suppose.I was just overall disappointed with this particular Bass Pro Shop/Cabela's. It didn't seem to fit the Bass Pro Shop Formula, Usually, they're a lot bigger and a lot better stocked.And a fun experience just to visit, and everything they have is just a Bonus.As opposed to just a mediocre sporting goods store, Which unfortunately is what this particular location is, I'd rather Academy than this particular location.
