This hardware store is really close by but it also has better prices for a lot of my home repair or painting projects. Staff is always helpful but doesn't hover. I was buying paint for a project matching this yellow to make a display for a local business and they made it quickly and helped me pick out a few brushes.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The door was held opened for me by Isaian when I first approached the building. Impressive. He proceeded to take me directly to the sign department to make sure I purchased exactly what was needed. He then escorted me to the register so I could pay the bill. Please hang on to this gentleman and customer service professional!!! What a difference one person can make for a business!!!

This is the neighborhood hardware and home improvement store you've been looking for. Huge selection and helpful, friendly people.Everytime I shop at ACE I am greeted by someone who is friendly, knowledgeable and who helps me find what I'm looking for. Did you know that ACE can help you with a spare car key (yes the ones with radio transmitters!). No need to waste a day at the dealer, I was in and out in 10 minutes.

I called from work told Robert what i needed, stainless steel flex hose 1/4 “ with a 3/8 adapter on one end. He put it put it together and my wife picked it up 15 minutes later to give to the appliance repair man. You will NEVER to do that at a Home Depot or Lowes!

Fantastic service and products! I first went to the places really close by, WM, HD, Lowe's and what they had was not to my liking. Fancy plastics all around. I bought a small quantity of female spade electrical connectors; and that is what is so appealing with Ace Hardware, they offer right size quantities at reasonable prices. Sure, I could go to HD, Lowes or Amazon but I would have to purchase large quantities at very good unit prices (better than Ace) but I don't need that many. The local employees at this franchise location are quite helpful, pleasant and available (try to find help at HD or Lowes). Having an account affords me $5.00 off coupons, from points earned from my purchases. I will continue to trade at this Ace location and recommend it to others so it can flourish and survive?

Kay was absolutely awesome! She saw I was in uniform and in a hurry. I was greeted and escorted to the items needed. She smiled and spoke loud and clear for this hard of hearing veteran. She even opened a register to get me on my way. Please give her a raise!!

It's actually super unfortunate, I used to go here 2-3 times a week for the odd thing or so because I have a homestead. This place is about a mile from my house so incredibly convenient.However. I went there the other morning at 8am when the first opened. I needed a metal trash can for my chicken feed, and I also grabbed one or two more things. I was at the register checking out when one of the employees grabbed my things and started walking to the door. I asked what was happening and the cashier told me he would be carrying my things for me. I politely said no thank you, but the cashier said he's not going to give me the choice. Am I a dirty feminist? Probably. But I just paid for those (very manageable) items and I wanted them back. The employee thrust them back at me and said "well fine. If you're going to be stubborn and hard headed".Honestly, I used to love this store. The employees made me feel welcome, didn't treat me any type of way for looking alternative or being a woman, but clearly that wasn't the case this day. I was a devout and loyal customer of this place, but today I walked in and was overcome with so much anxiety that we turned around and drove to Home Depot instead.So much for the small neighborhood feel, unless you like your small neighborhood to feel misogynistic.

Very helpful staff with creative ideas! I initially went there to purchase a ulock. They didn't have the size I needed BUT, after explaining my need, one of the team members offered up a helpful suggestion that I took advantageof. What a great experience with this store. I needed paint to redo dining chairs. Robert matched the painted stencils perfectly. He also recommended a product to take off the varnish rather than having to sand.Everyone is friendly and caring. Ace really is the place with the helpful hardware man!

I went to purchase an EGO String trimmer after speaking with a friend about his. The online price was less than in-store pricing so I made an online order standing in the store. Robert said they had it in stock and all I needed to do was make the order to his store and he'd hand me the product from the store inventory. I was done in about 20 minutes. Thanks Robert

let me just say this, i went to ACE' on wrightsboro rd augusta ,ga for the first time about a week ago saturday. because home depot and lowe's did'nt have what i wanted. the associate that helped me really lived up to their commercial them because he was so helpful. they did not have what wanted either but they gave me an alternative solution and put it together for me and it worked, and told where could find what i needed. all i could think about was their commercial jungle' ACE IS THE PLACE WITH HELPFUL HARDWARE FOLK' i will try them more often now. sorry i can't remember the associates name that helped me.

I ordered some chairs via the Internet from Ace Hardware. Unfortunately, they were both broken!! I called this store and was given prompt & courteous help to get these returned. From Lyndie, who answered the first call, Vanessa Barnes (manager) who made me feel like I was her only customer, to Christie who did the actual return. These people made me feel like they really cared about what I needed. Also, their store is very clean and well stocked - it is definitely worth a trip down there if you are looking for some thing!

Today I walked into Augusta Ace Hardware store on Wrightsboro rd. and I had previously purchased the item there that was defective it was a candle that didn’t have a WIC in it so I went to the store and the sales person was very kind he asked me how can he help me and I explained the defect of the item to him so he said Ali could pick out another one the candle only cost $7 you know I understand it was a clearance item, but it was defective and I took the item back to the Desk and I wanted to do some more shopping so the woman at the register she gave me a nasty look and she said what is this and I explained to her about the candle was defective so she said it’s a clearance item they can’t take it back you know so I felt like I was racially profiled I don’t think they would have treated a white woman that way but the way she looked at me and her tone I just told her that it is a lot of people in this that’s very racist so she told me to get out of the store and I told her to get out of the store she said I work here and I said but you can be replaced so I felt like I was mistreated as a customer because I always shop in that store after work, I spend money all the time in this and she was a so-called manager but she was supposed to been more patient and understanding then she was, you know but I Didn’t-appreciate her nasty attitude somebody really needs to goinvestigate that store because it is a Lot of racist people working in that store and you know we have a right to go in the store and shop without being talked down to or being disrespected you can’t tell the difference between white people money and black people money and this is my complain!! (VERY RACIST STORE 😔)

I use to work at an Ace Hardware in Hernando and Inverness Florida many years ago. We didn't have the selection this store had. Beautiful clean store too. Very helpful salesgirl too. Didn't have what I needed but she looked up to see if anyone else did. Thank you! I will be back. I live now just inside Edgefield County S.C. 29860.

I love the customer service, so much easier to get help than at a big box store. The associates were knowledgeable and were able to answer my questions. It reminds me of the old fashioned hardware stores. I live that it easy to find what I'm looking for.

This is a great local place to get lots of things you need around the house. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It's well managed and clean. It's a great improvement over having to go to Lowe's or Home Depot to get what you need.

The salesman that tried to help me really tried his hardest to help me with what I needed it ended up being completely wrong but he tried I gave it 3 stars bc I feel like if you have employees working in a place like that they should be trained on this gs so they can actually help customers and be knowledgeable.

Convenient when u don't want to travel farther than your local ace, but lately their prices seem to be way over-priced. Additionally, this particular ACE has a habit of charging more for item at ring up then they have listed on the shelf. Some funny business going on.

I was able to go in the store and buy the fertilizer that I wanted. It was also on sale which made it even better. The staff was courteous. The store was not crowded. I encourage others to shop at Ace Hardware.
