Friendly staff! & The owner is so sweet! She treats and loves on my fur baby like her own. She also gives her a wonderful groom. My dog gets excited to come here, and happy at pick up as well. Yes it’s a smaller facility but the love is there. Recommend checking them out!

My dog Georgia loves it here. I can tell because she constantly try’s to jump over the counter once we show up. That’s a testament to the staffs loving and caring personality for my pet. Friendly group, helpful and always available. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: I was required to take Tyler to the emergency vet at Blue Pearl when he began profusely vomiting up blood. The vet determined that Tyler became sick as a result of this boarding facility actions. After I provided a written statement to the kennel from Blue Pearl via email, the owner Michelle called Blue Pearl requesting Tyler's medical records which I had already provided to her as well as the $642.16 bill. Michelle later sent an email to me stating that she wants our previous telephone transcripts and that she refuses to pay for my service dog's vet bill. After she sent this email also referencing her attorney, I sent her two email replys requesting her attorneys name and contact info, but she has yet to provide their name and contact information to me. This entire ordeal has been very upsetting and traumatic for both Tyler and me.I took my service dog Tyler to this kennel to have him groomed for the second time and boarded for the first time because I had a medical procedure being done. On the day of pick up I noticed my Tyler was panting and that all of his food was given back to me from his two-day stay. By Wednesday he was vomiting and had severe diarrhea and after calling Dr. Tribbys vet office they instructed me to bring him in for an appointment on Thursday morning. During my dogs time at the kennel a staff member sent me a bizarre email stating that my number was disconnected and that they had "concerns" about Tyler's grooming. I immediately called the kennel once I received the email because my phone has never been disconnected and I had given them written instructions with pictures of how Tyler was supposed to be cut and verbal instructions as to how he was supposed to be fed his food.My third and last email asked that the owner call me immediately to address Tyler being sick (panting, vomiting and diarrhea) and his bad haircut and when Michelle, the owner called me, she was very condescending and told me that she has no control over how I, as an autistic person interprets the word "concerned" left in the email to me by her staff member. When I instructed her on how to appropriately speak with me as an autistic adult and reminded her about being professional, she became loud and kept over talking me where I kept asking her to be professional and show compassion because my service dog is sick and came home for the second time with a bad haircut. At first she offered to give me a refund for the haircut but then she said that I was required to allow her to fix my service dogs bad haircut ( they cut off his tail hair and the hair on the top of his head.So it will take between 4-6 months before they grow back). His ears were cut uneven and hair was not evenly cut on various parts of his body ( there is a gash on his left side) and she told me to bring him back in so she could be allowed to fix those mistakes.Surprised by her response, I told her that I didn't normally drive and then she told me that she would have someone pick up my actual service dog from my home.My service dog is violently vomiting, has severe diarrhea and a very bad haircut where I spent over $140 for both grooming, boarding and a 20% tip. Why would she think that I would trust her to have my dog back in her care and why would she want to separate me from my service dog as if he is a family pet.The outright disrespect for me as an exceptional needs adult by this woman is unsettling. She called me with excuses and statements about my perception of words used by her staff, which at this point are irrelevant. She actually wanted to discuss my interpretation of the word "concern" used by her staff in the email sent to me versus just offering an immediate refund as she did for a different Google reviewer.

I brought my sweet (but scared) tri-pawd Staffie mix here to have his nails trimmed. He is a very squirmy boy when getting his nails trimmed. Michele and the ladies at A Pet’s Life were AMAZING with him. They were patient, loving, kind and persevered even when my boy didn’t want to 😅 thank you ladies SO MUCH. We will be returning and recommending your services to anyone and everyone!

My service dog Tyler became very ill after being boarded here for two days. The kennel never opened his dog food that was sent with him so I'm not sure if he was fed anything at all. To date, the owner has never stated if he got into something at the kennel or told me what he was fed by the staff. Because of the severe vomiting with blood and bloody diarrhea, I was required to take Tyler to Blue Pearl emergency vet clinic where the vet determined that the A Pets Life was the cause of my dogs sickness. It has been over a week and Tyler is slowly recovering but still not working which is a disservice to me. The owner Michelle has been given Tyler's medical records and a request for reimbursement but she has yet to do so. I was met with unprofessional behavior by her regarding this entire situation. This ordeal has been very traumatic for me. I do not recommend A Pets Life for any dog services.

Not sure 1 star is appropriate. If you have a Schnauzer KEEP reading! If you are wondering about the grooming skills of the owner KEEP reading. This was my boy's first appointment. Scheduling over the phone and drop off went well. I was concerned about some matts Dash had on his legs and whether or not they would be able to leave the length. I got to talk directly to the groomer. He looked over Dash and told me they would not be able to save the length but would keep it as long as possible. I wanted contrast between Dash's torso and his boots/skirt. The groomer assured me that he could do that. A few hours later, I get a call from the owner. She said she knew I was concerned and a new customer, so she wanted to be sure of what I wanted. The groomer had a kidney stone attack mid groom and she was taking over. We talked at length about wanting a Schnauzer cut (the same details I gave the original groomer earlier). Leave the beard, mustache, and eyebrows. Just clean up around them. Legs as long as possible (due to matts)and short skirt, torso not too short (a 7 rather than 10) Hair cleaned out of pads. She asked for pictures of what I like just to be sure. I sent a text of a picture of Dash after his last grooming, and 2 others with info on what I liked. Then I get a reply he's short, short, short. I arrive to pick Dash up and all I could say is "He's too short!" Three times I said that aloud. By this time, I had already paid and tipped. I was told they weren't able to give receipts right now, but remember the price is usually $20 higher because my reservation fee was taken off. This next part is probaby worse (and it wasn't until retelling this experience with my husband did i realize it), because let's face it, hair does grow back. Without a receipt I have no record of a kennel cough vaccine brought in by me was given, nor do Ifeel confident to ever really know.Anyway, I get to the car and not only is he WAY BEYOND SHORT, they cut off most of his beard, mustache, and brows! It's EVEN lopsided! IMO grossly lopsided!Be warned, I read the recent reviews and was excited to bring my baby here, not just for grooming but other services. I wouldn't go for free services! See the picture for yourself! Lopsided?! One of his eyebrows is almost gone.

I called and was able to leave my pet there overnight and had to worry about nothing. This is my favorite place to go to when I have to work out of town. They embrace us with love and respect.

Michelle is the sweetest lady ever and my dog Sherlock always gets the best haircut. I live in Colorado, but I try to bring Sherlock with me at least once a year literally to get a haircut here (and see my parents). The way she shapes his paws, and the extra attention/care she provides for your pet is the best.

Everyone there works so hard to make sure our babies are happy and comfortable. The owner deserves so much appreciation for having a business that takes such good care of clients and their babies. Will not stop recommending A Pet's Life for everything they offer. From grooming to daycare, this is the place you can trust with your fur babies!

I take my dog Bear to board and for grooming here and they take really good care of him! Michelle always calls me before she grooms him to make sure the cut is how I want and she always does a great job! I would recommend them to anyone.

We absolutely love this place! We just booked another grooming appointment as well. Summit our husky loves the staff and we board her every time we go on vacation, and just recently when we had our baby. Michelle and the staff are awesome! Don't hesitate! You won't regret it!Diamond Family

A Pet’s Life has been phenomenal since we started boarding our dog with them 2 years ago. Each stay was amazing for our dog, to the point where she wouldn’t want to leave! I highly recommend them and truly believe you will not be disappointed. The level of care shown to each pet was top notch and one of the best experiences we’ve had with a boarding/pet service facility.

Never leave your pets here. They are incompetent and have no medical vocation or love for pets. Our little beauty almost died from internal bleeding. It is the first time that we trust this miserable company and the last. We left her on June 25 until July 12. When we picked her up, we noticed that she was very weak and without spirits. In the other I take care whenever we picked her up she was cheerful and happy. The same day they told us that the beautiful dog was suffering from Diarrhea and they only told us that there was an outbreak of Bordetella. They do not carry out vaccination regulations and accept sick dogs. Our little girl has all her vaccinations up to date. We also feed her premium food. What do they do, according to a depressed puppy, to gain trust??? Apparently nothing. It is understandable that the first days they miss their family, but that is where the vocation comes in so that they feel at home and do not get depressed, which they did not do. In the two weeks they were never outraged to send us photos of our dog as in the previous place that unfortunately closed. The day we picked her up we immediately had to take her to the ER for bacteria and severe stress. If they are professionals (mediocre) a dog in stress means mistreatment. It is not the first time that our little girl has been in care and we have never had such a disappointing experience. They have no vocation and are not professionals, they are animal abusers. They see their puppy in stress and they normalize it and why do they pay for care? Where is the vocation that our puppies feel at home. They are the worst. They are useless, they are criminals. The cost of care, that they did not take good care of her $525 and her emergency for saving her with antibiotics $611. Total on the same day $1136. We will not rest until justice is done for our little Bella and for all those who have been mistreated. We try to communicate and solve this internally and they do not care at all about the bad time and the health of our little girl Look How Bleeding our Baby And they said Only stress ..? And Bacteria was Found in her Tummy They Told us wasn’t cause by A Pet’s Life …This was send by My Email Couple days before She Get SickHello,We have been informed that a pet that stayed with us has signs of Bordetella.A Pet’s Life

Michele and her staff truly care about the happiness of their furry friends! They are very accommodating to any pet's needs; they boarded a dog for me that had bad separation anxiety and did a great job with her. Your animals will be in great hands!

I've been taking my fur babies to this place for grooming for about a year now, and I love it! The first big thing of positive note is that they have an application process where your pets' records are screened to ensure that they are up to date on all shots and treatments. I appreciate this because it gives me greater peace of mind that my dogs are much less likely to contract something harmful from another animal. The second positive note is that they're typically able to fit us in within about a week of whenever I call, and even better, they're happy to accommodate both dogs for the same appointment! My pups get some anxiety when being left anywhere without me, and they tend to rely on one another for comfort; but the staff have been mindful of asking whether it's safe to put them together in the same kennel as some dogs do not get along. They are typically ready to be picked up within a few hours. Third, all of the staff with who I've interacted have been very friendly and positive! One of my pups hates it when I try to bathe her or trim her nails at home, so I worried about her behavior when I brought her in. Every time, the staff tell me they were both very sweet and well behaved. Fourth, their prices do vary based on services and animal type/weight, but I think they're fair and not exorbitant. Fifth, I inquired at my last appointment about whether they have oatmeal shampoo as one of my dogs also has some allergy issues. Once again, they were able and willing to accommodate! I've never had a bad experience here, and my dogs always come out excited and looking beautiful. Highly recommend! (For reference / dog tax, I've attached a photo of my pups - two medium-sized mixes who always go together for appointments!)

The drop-off process was super easy and grooming was done quickly but also very well. My girl, Winnie, looked great! I'm also grateful that A Pet's Life doesn't use shampoos or perfume sprays with strong scents as they can be bothersome to both me and Winnie.

My two pups (11yrs & 6yrs) has their first visit at A Pet’s Life this week. I live 45 minutes away from Augusta but have been looking for a groomer that did a little bit better job than our local groomer. I was thoroughly impressed with this grooming business. When I arrived, someone came out and went over my contact info and the grooming details for each pup. She let them use the restroom and took them inside. I got a call about an hour after leaving for the groomer herself to go over the details since it was my first visit, and she commented on how sweet my dogs are. That made me be able to relax a little better about their first trip. My older dog can be rather temperamental, but really liked the owner. I later got a call to come pick them up, and they looked great. The owner called me hours later to thank me for my business and to comment on my dogs behavior again and it just made it feel like I’ve been going there for years. I have definitely found a new groomer, even with the longer drive. Thank you!!

The first couple times we boarded our dog we liked this place but the last time we boarded her we found a large, bloody wound under her chest after picking her up. We had to bring her to the vet because we thought it was ring worm but found out it was probably caused from being burned on the cement outside (vets opinion). The vet appointment costed money and we had to buy medications for her as well. We let the manager know as she called a couple days later to check up on our dog but didn't do anything but apologize. I understand the dogs can't be watched 24/7 but very disappointed that no one noticed as it was not a small wound, and now our dog has a huge bald spot under her chest where hair no longer grows. This was about a year ago so I would know by now if her hair was going to grow back.

I’ve been using this daycare for a while! The staff is so generous and shows great love towards my puppy! I was so nervous the first day I left him, but I have great trust in the staff! My puppy loves the people, and has so much fun playing with others! One time my dog had pooped out little rubber pieces from his dog toy he chewed up the night before, I was already aware of this. Immediately the staff contacted me, and even kept a sample for me to see when I picked him up to make sure my dog was okay! They go above and beyond for my puppy and I am so thankful for the staff! They also leave frequent photos on Facebook so I can see what my doggy is doing while I’m at work(:Future recommendations- bigger yard or toys for the dogs. (I know this comes with money and time so no expectations for this)Other then that I am happy to bring my dog and feel thankful my dog has such lovely care takers. ♥️ 10/10

I highly recommend taking your pets elsewhere. They do not have their stuff together and unfortunately your pets will be the result of that. I had a weird feeling about this place and it turns out my instincts were right.

My shepherd is groomed and boarded at A Pet’s Life. I love this place. No complaints. When I was searching for a place I visited and while talking to a member of their team a furbaby rushed in (owner was being pulled along). That client (the dog) was so excited to be there for daycare, she almost jumped over the counter. Her whole body was wagging! Best advertisement is a satisfied customer. I was sold, my girl has been going ever since.

The love and care that Michelle and her team dedicated to my senior cat who has never boarded before was above and beyond expectation. They took pictures of my pets and sent them to me as well as daily updates on their eating and behavior there. The facility and staff are awesome. Highly recommend taking your pets there.

I brought my Yorkie here for the first time and Michelle has been great with him! My dog is fussy when it comes to grooming but she took care of him with so much love and care. And he looks great! I truly appreciate it and he was so happy too! Thank you again! We come all the way from Atlanta and will bring him here for grooming every time because she's that great!

I took my cat Max to Michelle and she treated him like the prince he is. So I decided to take my dog Dixie for grooming and day care. Michelle is just awesome. You can tell she loves all the animals that come for day care. I love the updates Michelle sends and the pictures she posts on the Facebook page. Her staff is super friendly and welcoming as well. Dixie smells and looks great. When I went to pick her up and she super happy and seemed like she had a great time!
