I'm at Walgreens and the customer service was so out of pocket I decided to leave a review during my time waiting :) it takes a solid 20 minutes to drop off a package for FedEx. I don't usually come here unless I have to and today was one of those days.

Google says the store opens at 6am I am here at 5:50am but the store manager didn't arrive until 6: 06am. Then went in to the store and locked the door. It is currently 20 mins after and the store still isn't open. This is a inconvenience for me the store workers should come to work on time. Now I'm going to be late because they aren't open on time and this the only walgreens in the area. There are several people out here waiting.

When technology and human behaviors fail. This is not the first time I've had, in my opinion, unreasonable issues with Walgreens at the corner of Cascade and Fairburn in Atlanta.I scheduled a vaccine for Wednesday online, filled out all the forms online and was all set. When I arrived, I was told they ran out and to return the next day. I returned on Thursday just to be told that the truck did not arrive and to return Friday.Here's where I really have an issue. I returned Friday at 1:20p (wanted to be there by 1p but bad weather and traffic prevented that). I believe I was the only customer as I did not see anyone else in line. I was, in my opinion, purposely stalled so they could not provide me with the vaccine until after 2p because ALL Walgreens take a meal break between 130p and 2p. Here's how they stalled:When I arrived I was told, we are on a meal break and can't do it until after 2p. I explained that I was told before 130p and that I've had issues the past two days. The tech then checks with the people behind the counter for a few minutes, I can hear part of the discussion as one said, "she called but I did not tell her 130p." I interjected and said "I never said you told me 130p."The tech returns and tells me they WILL do it and hands me a clipboard to fill out the paperwork. I explained that I filled out this information online and she tells me it's no longer in the system. By the time I finished with the form and returned it to another person, they tell me they cannot administer the vaccine until after 2p, "you'll need to come back." It's not like everyone behind that counter did not know what was happening, it's truly not that big of a space and I recognized the voices as three conferred that they cannot administer the vaccine until after 2p.I own my part in this. It's the yes we will, no we can't stall tactics that is 100% unacceptable. It's the failure to use technology. If appointments are scheduled but there's no product, inform patients before they arrival for a scheduled appointment or have the online system not accept the appointment. Shouldn't retention of a patient's information stay in the system for more than 72 hours?My issues with Walgreens forced me to mail order several years ago. But sometimes you need to a brick and mortar location.I am greatful that I kept my composure and no nastiness on either end. I realize I have options. I'm just one person and I know this will most likely go unnoticed. However; if noticed, maybe -- just maybe Walgreens will change the culture at this location.Forgive any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm still a bit heated but composed. Have a blessed day and if you have options use them. I am moving all of my brick and mortar needs to another company. I will no longer be using Walgreens.

This is by far the worst Walgreens in Atlanta. They need to shut it down and try again. I’ve been living in this neighborhood 14 years, and the pharmacy ALWAYS has bad customer service. Imagine being the place all the older people in the neighborhood go for their prescriptions and you operate like this. I’m transferring my prescriptions somewhere else ASAP.

I'm sure this store is perfectly fine for buying shampoo or something, but whatever you do don't try to use the pharmacy and definitely don't try to make an appointment for any type of vaccination.

They are the worst!! They will not answer the phone. When they do, you are on hold forever, and never come back. Such a disgrace and really put Walgreens in a bad light. Avoid this location whenever possible! I'm still on hold now and it's been 15 mins!!!

Lies about getting prescriptions from my dr. Gave me needles for Ozempic knowing they were not going to give me the medication itself. Go elsewhere for your diabetes meds.

It is 6:47 a.m. and the Walgreens is not open. This has happened several times. The lady in the store spoke to me through the closed doors. She told me that she can’t open until another person comes in and she doesn’t know when that will be. This happens way too often. Where is the management? This is unacceptable. Very disappointed.

Horrible horrible customer service from the Pharmacy Manager who was very rude, over talked me, and refused to give me his name. He had a very heavy accent. He never took the time to ask to see my confirmation or allow me to explain the situation. He had me waste my time twice going up there eventhough I had an confirmation that was booked and confirmed on Walgreens. com. The 1st time is when I arrived to my appt and waited in drive thru for 15 mins I get to window and provide confirmation and was told by him they have no more Covid testing supplies eventhough online it said they had plenty of avail. So I was told to come back after 3 in they should have some. So I get there at 3pm and once I tell the agent what I'm here for I can already tell they didn't want to help me then the girl comes back saying oh you know it's $120 fee per person eventhough my confirmation clearly said it's free since we have no insurance and we qualified after answering the questions online(Walgreens. com) I see why this store has a 2.0 Star because of the rudeness and horrible customer service. I will never come to this ghetto location ever again.

The store is ok. However the pharmacy staff is AWFUL!!! The staff is disrespectful. Talk to people crazy. Talk about customer in front of other customers. They are so ghetto. You can call and ask the most simple question and they act as if you k!lled their mother. Awful people.

I was refused my medicine by the African American female pharmacy for NO reason I had to wait on the short male pharmacist to help me. Some of these black female workers are very unprofessional. When I finally got my medicine today August 7, the bottle show it was filled since August 1, 2023 the black female workers was holding my medication for No reason. One of the females tried to make me wait another day, and the Spanish male pharmacist said no, give her the medicine today

I've used Walgreens Pharmacy my whole life but this one is so bad it turned me into a CVS convert. I have a prescription that I am supposed to be able to fill for a 3 month supply but they routinely only fill 1 month. When I asked about it they claimed it was my insurance, when I called my insurance they told me that there was no restrictions on the prescription and I could request a full year supply if I wanted. The wait times at the store are horrendous. If you call them, they put you on hold so long they forget you're there and then hang up on you. Whenever I call in for a refill I get a whole song and dance about it being out of stock and needing 7-10 days to fill it (this prescription is very common and it's not like they couldn't predict when I would run out). When I am finally able to pick up a *fraction* of my prescription, it's always a different random generic form instead of the name brand even after my doctor called them and asked that I stick to one brand due to experiencing negative side effects from switching. Skip the stress and go get your medicine literally anywhere else.

I never leave reviews. But my experience here lead me here to save others the trouble. I wish i would’ve checked the reviews prior to me going to this location. I scheduled a covid 19 test and arrived on time, actually a few minutes early. I sat at the drive through window for 15 minutes while the pharmacist and other employees walked pass looking at me without acknowledging me or communicating that they will be with me shortly. After i pressed the call button again, the pharmacist told me that someone would be with me shortly. Another 10 mins passed before someone came to see what it was i needed, after telling her what i needed even more time passed and i sat at that window for nearly 40 minutes before the swab was given to me. I was also supposed to have my results within 2 hours and it has been 8 hours and no one is answering the phone. Staff was dry, had terrible customer service, no communication, no urgency or respect for anyones time.UPDATE: after almost 20 minutes someone answered the phone i told her i was looking to get my results, she says she’ll check it out for me and puts me on hold, time passes and another lady answers and asks how she can help me… i told her i had just spoken with someone who was helping me…she didn’t even ask what it was i needed. She puts me in hold 10 minutes later no one ever came back. A JOKE

I understand pharmacy and the staff can be very busy, but when you call and someone click over and put u on hold over and over again, Just click over and say we are very busy and you are like the number on hold and there are other people waiting. But you think they do that , unprofessional! But I’m going give cvs or my new neighbor hood pharmacy a try and see the quality of there service team. Bye bye Walgreens

This says they open at 8am, it’s 9:54 and they still are not open. Nor has anyone came out to say when they will open, there is a line behind me. This is so unprofessional and it happens to often at this Walgreens.

Went in to pick up pictures I had already ordered online… a worker assisted one person standing there trying to select pics from his phone, absolutely ignoring us who was ready to check out… employees in the store laughing and chatting in group amongst themselves like we were invisible. Will never choose this location again.

This Walgreens is extremely slow! They literally have you waiting in the drive thru pharmacy for 15 and more. Photo department never has anyone there and when you come at the specified time to get your items they haven't even did their job of printing them and having them ready! They're always low on formula and basic food items. They need a new manager and to hire more employees. Don't put your prescription here and even bother shopping here go to Publix.

Still the worst Pharmacy in the city. I have complained to corporate and they just don't seem to care. My issues: 1) Long hold times when calling. As soon as they answer they put you on hold even longer and never answer 2) Takes hours to fill your medicine....that's if they even have it 3) if they don't have your med they don't let you know proactively. They won't call around to other local Walgreen's pharmacies to see if another store has the medicine. You have to do it. This is so ridiculous. The online store can tell you if inventory is avail for non prescription items....why can't their pharmacy system do the sameI switched all of my prescriptions over to Publix. It is a hassle to have to go in but 1) it takes 30 min or less to fill a prescription. 2) Once the price of a med came back extremely high. The pharmacy called me, gave me a discount card and told.me how to answer the questions step by step. My med went from $300+ to $10. 3) If my medicine isn't available they proactively call you to let you know when they will have it 4) they will transfer your recurring prescriptions for you after answering a few questions.Much better customer experience.

The customer service here at the pharmacy is completely hideous, ridiculous, unprofessional, and just plain out a clown show !!! The lady that was at the drive-through pharmacy couldn't talk through the speaker loud enough where I could hear her and I asked her why would it be so long for my prescription to be filled the next day, and she said in a smart voice, because there are many people ahead of you like TF! Alia needs another job cause this one ain't it!

The parking lot always have some type of trash.. When walking into Walgreens on Campbellton you might be greeted you might not. If you picking up pictures, getting ready to check out or at the pharmacy, you will be in line. Today I had to pick up my mother medicine, I were number 4 in line. Walgreens do have the stickers on the floor to stay 6' from each other.. It was 1 worker for drop off and pick up Prescription and he was working the drive thru too . My pick up was pretty easy I just need to update my address and use Walgreens reward card. I forgot my reward card so I just used my phibw number that was in the account. If you picking up medicine there are seats available to sit down but the wait time can be over 30 minutes. So be prepared to stand in line for more than 30 minutes. The cashier attitude was OK but could need extra help in the future.

Went there today to purchase OTC items thru my insurance. You have to search for items. How about I'm being followed around the store like I'm a common criminal. I'm in my 60s, I carry a very small purse, I had plenty cash on me, they didn't have half the items I was looking for. And I'm being followed around the store. After several attempts attempts to use Humana card, I paid cash for some items and went to Walgreen's on Camp Creek. The most friendliest people in that store. They have much nicer items, and I didn't feel like "they better watch that black lady cause she gonna steal".Stuff.they do in Buckhead. They didn't play w Humana card, it was easy does it. If you want a great experience and respect do not go to Walgreens on Cascade. Go to Camp Creek location.

I will say once upon a time this Walgreens was right on top of things, but things have changed. My issues are with the pharmacy. My doctor called in a prescription and they gave me 3 months worth. When I asked if this was a store policy they said no it was probably my insurance. I called my carrier and was basically told no this was not something they had requested. I received a prescription refill reminder message on my phone. I wasn’t sure which prescription it was so I called and ask the person who answered if he could tell me which medication it was. I was told if I didn’t know what medication it was to just forget about it. I have advised my doctor to change the location she calls to have my prescriptions filled. I have called corporate customer service once and plan to call them again.

I’m not expecting this review to change anything about how this store operates. As I was told by the supervisor on duty, it’s a high volume location. So, until the terrible service they offer (which predates the pandemic) starts affecting their bottom line, they have no desire or impetus to change. They’re really ok with the subpar service they offer. I had an order that was supposed to be ready for me to pick up one week ago. It wasn’t. Two days ago, I called and was told the machine had been broken but that it would be ready that day. Today, I stopped by since I was passing by. The order wasn’t ready. I was told they didn’t even have the supplies to process it (because of poor management according to the employees… I heard that multiple times from multiple employees). This was never communicated to me at any time prior. One employee told me they hadn’t had the supplies in months. When I asked if they could assist with moving my order to another location? No. I was told to go home and call around to other Walgreens to ensure they had the supplies and ability to handle my order. I’m sorry; that’s really not my job. I had to place two separate calls to customer service to resolve the issue but at least they called and found a store to handle the order. Please save your time and sanity. Go somewhere else. I hate having to go outside my community for what I need, but good service is worth it.

The Pharmacy is yet by far the WORST!!!!!! Staff is very unprofessional and rude!!!! They don’t answer the phone and when they do they just put you on hold without saying a word. And leave you on hold at that!!! Customer Service in this Pharmacy is Disgusting and the whole staff needs to be TERMINATED!!! And replaced with a staff who actually cares about what they do.. I’m literally on hold as I write this review and I have been on hold for over 20 minutes which is totally unacceptable!!!! Employees keep picking up saying hold without even attempt to see why I’m calling.

Always only 1 worker. Line is always long with at least 10 people in line. Security is always in the back of the store talking on the phone having loud personal conversations. Corporate please do something! OMG. Horrible Customer Service!

Worst experience ever!!! I went for my covid vaccine dose at this location. My appointment was at 12pm but no one called me for 30 mins then I went at the counter to ask them when will I be getting my dose since I had to be some place after 12:45. The guy behind the counter was so rude and told me to wait since he was the only one doing everything. Then after 15mins he came out and was rushing to vaccinate. He didn't follow the full protocol of monitoring after the injection. basically he injected within a minute and asked me to leave. I mean if this location is understaffed why do you book online appointments?! If you need to get a vaccine choose any other location or go to cvs.

I just called to see if I could get a Passport Picture taken...before I could finish my question, the lady cut me off "our camera is broken". Customer Service wise (I've been to this place a few times, and have never done a review...but today it's worth it). I think the store is clean, but SOME of the associates would rather not speak/greet/ or use good customer service etiquette. 3 stars since it's not ALL of the associates and the store is clean.
